Pilot Grove Savings Bank - Mt. Pleasant S Grand Ave, Mt Pleasant

This is such a great bank. We have been so pleased with our service at every one of the locations we visit. Matt Morrison a loan officer at pilot grove is always available to give kind and helpful service when ever you have a question or just need to visit. His door is open. The bank has served our family in lots of.different ways from purchasing 4h fair animals to first car loans and more. We recently had a debit card issue and the bank contacted us and took care of it all. We could not ask for more.

The people are generally friendly and helpful. All around decent bank. Their online banking and app are rather atrocious though, so if that's important to you pilot grove may not be the right choice.

Very rude and unhelpful employees with the management being the worst I've ever seen. There are much better banks out there. Shop wisely.

Parents bank here but I'd recommend community 1st.

My wife had an account her. Due to a move she closed the account.2 weeks later a recurring payment that should have been refused went thru. I had to go in and rectify it after an overdraft was sent. I asked what happened and was told very bluntly and with a bit of attitude from the Supervisor. Long straight dark hair. Sorry did not get name. That it was coded wrong so it is not closed and will not be until we pay the account to a 0 balance. So I bit my tongue and thought, it is over . So I paid to bring it to 0 and asked if it was really closed now. I was told yes. Then another 2 weeks went by and we got the overdraft. I went in a little upset. Bethany was very professional and was the first person to say. I am sorry we did not do it right and I will fix it. If a mistake is made at my place of business we take responsibility and apologize then go out of our way to be nice and follow up to make sure nothing else happens. I was met with an attitude of it was my fault and I had to rectify it. With the exception of Bethany and the young lady that helped me first the attitude from the supervisor should be checked at the door!

Everyone is very friendly, I have always felt at home with Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Mt. Pleasant! They go above and beyond for their customers!!!

I have checking account with Pilot Grove for almost 10 years and I have had abysmal service with them when it comes to checking how much money I have with them, they never have up dated information about how much you have until days even weeks later after you've purchased something at a store with a debit card and this can cause an over withdraw problem, with no warnings, I suggest if you have to go to this bank make sure you write down everything expense you have since they never tell you anything.
