Made our first time home buying a breeze! I was super nervous about underwriting because of stories I've heard. We didn't have any issues. Leslie was great and knowledgeable she made sure we understood all the details. She was not responsive at times but that is understandable, such a busy time. Overall would definitely recommend.

On spot and made my experience wonderful. They helped me secure and interest rate of 2.25%!! Their communication was great. I actually had a great experience with Diane, Jennifer and Tony and already referred 2 of my friends to them.

The overall experience with Phil was substandard and rushed. What was communicated in the way of an interest rate was significantly altered at closing. The closing was delayed and ultimately the home loan had to be reconfigured to accurately represent the interest rate. I had to go up several levels above Phil to get resolution. Would highly recommend to thoroughly research your home loan options before dealing with Phil.

If you're considering Phil Jawny because you were offered incentives from the builder of your new home to use them as the builder's preferred lender, my recommendation would be to make sure you apply to at least 1 other lender so you can reasonably compare rates/selling costs throughout the time between signing of purchase agreement and closing. When we first got a quote from them, their rates were comparable to the market. Their rates only increased over that of the market as we got closer to Closing. Incentives may still make it worth it to stick with Jawny, but you need that 2nd lender option to fully compare/contrast, and perhaps, hold their feet to the fire. The Team themselves were very nice/helpful and their process is about as seamless as you could hope from a mortgage lender.
