John went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that we felt comfortable with the process every step of the way. We can not recommend Peoples Choice Equity Mortgage Lending. We had loved our experience with you them at the beginning we thought we were building a relationship with them. We did not go with the loan officer that our realtor recommended because we thought we had built a relationship with this team. My wife and I had reviewed our documents almost daily up to the day we went in to closing. We looked the morning before our closing and the numbers had not changed. We discussed the cost and how much money we would need down etc. My wife and I are first time home buyers with no experience. When we went in for our Closing we did not have a representative from Peoples Choice Equity Mortgage Lending present. We sat with the title company and started to sign our documents. The cost to close had increased by $4,298.56 in 24 hours from viewing our previous documents with no warning or explantation on your part. We were shocked and embarrassed. We called our loan officer who did not answer and another member of his team who did. He said that charges were due to the Title Company Insurance and the HOA Capital Donation to Daybreak Community. We were upset and alone with no knowledge of what to do. He claimed that these fees were not on the documents previously because they didn’t know that we were moving to Daybreak or what the Tittle Company’s fees were. That is absolutely unacceptable! We gave you the address to our home on day one. We discussed with Peter in depth about HOA fees and the Daybreak Community. We paid for your company to go and send a representative to get our home appraised. It is possible or acceptable to claim that you were not aware about the location of the home. The Title Company we closed with was V_____ Title. A company that you claimed you guys had a working relationship with lots of experience. These additional fees should have been on our documents and discussed with us much sooner! We could have lost our home. We had to scrounge up over $4,000 more dollars unplanned. We also walked in to that meeting with a check with no knowledge that we need to wire the money to the Title Company. You guys did not prepare us in anyway for our closing. We felt embarrassed, hurt and taken advantage of as young first time home buyers. It was devastating experience.

Trevor Tom is great to work with! As a Realtor, I always feel comfortable referring my clients to him as I know he will find the best loan for their needs. He is great to have on your team when you are competing for a contract as he does an amazing job and putting everyone at ease letting the listing agent know he can get the job done (which in turn helps the buyers get the home they are offering on.)

Amazing - Amazing and Amazing! I primarily worked with Andie and her Transaction Coordinator, Michelle. From the moment I was recommended to speak with them regarding possibly being pre-approved for my home loan with them I felt like I was their only priority. I could text, call or email at any time and most days got an immediate response. No question was to big or small for either of them. In any email or phone conversation I could tell they really cared and wanted me to get the home I had chosen. They worked very hard and to me what sometimes felt like a full 8-hour day on just my loan. They also went above and beyond helping my daughter to submit documents needed in order for me to close since I was co-signed on her car. It was crazy but they did it all and with a smile. I truly value them and appreciate their customer service. I have already recommended them to a friend!!
