Casey Farley with People First Financial was our loan officer. My husband and I were first time homebuyers and pretty unsure of the steps we needed to take. Our realtor was not much help through the process so we turned to Casey to answer our questions throughout the last six weeks or so . Not only did Casey beat multiple loan offers from bigger financial institutions, but the one on one personal service was impeccable.. He was available days, nights, and weekends, on his personal cell number to answer any questions we had through the process.. (and we had a lot of questions) There was never a time that he made us feel rushed to get off the phone (even while out to dinner, or on lunch break) Every time we spoke we were his first priority. (Yes I said spoke!I ) I cannot express my gratitude enough for this man and how he helped us through the process it was truly A painless experience. I have utilized Peoples First Financial twice now for mortgages. Specifically dealing with Tom Soini who is a very personable professional, . Tom walked me through the entire process of obtaining a loan; including helping me deal with the VA and a private seller. Tom beat the rate of Veterans United by .25%. I highly recommend Tom who was always a call away throughout the entire process.

I worked with Casey Farley to obtain a mortgage loan for a client of mine. This man went above and beyond to help us and answer any questions we had. It didn't matter if it was 9am or 9pm on a Sunday and the Browns were playing. He would stop what he was doing and make sure I had all of the answers I needed. He would then check up on me or my client multiple times a week to make sure we were ok during the process. From pre-approval to the time my client secured the keys for the home, Casey was there at a moments notice. In the future, if I have a client that needs recommendations for Financing, I will make sure Casey is on the top of the list.

When my wife and I began house shopping earlier in the year we were preapproved with a different lender. We weren't entirely satisfied with their products and approached our agent with our complaints. She recommended we contact Tom. We're so glad we did. Tom was a fantastic fit for us. He thoroughly understood the intricacies of the VA loan process, responded to emails promptly, answered his phone when we called, was always professional, and he sells very competitive mortgages. He is a local and understands the local environment in a way that large banks and online lenders can't. Home buying is a significant investment in time and money, having the right loan officer makes a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend Tom for your mortgage needs. EDIT: People First Financial sold our loan to Wells Fargo before our first payment was due. I hate doing business with Wells Fargo and would have reconsidered going with People First had I known they'd sell so quickly especially to Wells Fargo. My original review was five stars, I dropped it to three. Tom was and still is great, but I won't consider doing business with People First again.
