This is a terrible company to work with. They deliberately don't allow split payments online even if they are in advance. To set up auto payments you have to pay a month in advance. Their website sucks is always slow, never works and the only way to make a split payment is to call and wait 30 min at best. I'll never use this company again! They don't want you to make split payments because it's less interest they'll get. They'll tell it's a contract law but they'll do a split payment over the phone. Don't waste your time.

I don’t ever really post a review unless my experience was painless. Honestly easiest company to work with. They are honest straight forward and will assist you through anything. Don’t rush the phone calls. Checked up on me through the whole process. PennyMac is the way to go for any of your needs. I had a FHA Streamline refinance done to my mortgage. The professionals at PennyMac work hard to make the mortgage loan experience easy and transparent. They are always available to answer questions and work tirelessly to make sure the customer is informed and up-to-date about the process. This was my third purchase experience with PennyMac and as far as I am concerned, they have a customer for life.

Really annoying company to deal with. They bought up our mortgage, which shouldn't be allowed without the consent of the property owner, but that's a different conversation. 2 big problems with these jerks: 1- they require to scroll through their terms and conditions every single time you make a payment, whyyyy??????? 2 - they bombard us with spam calls and snail mail to refinance our home, like constantly. Get a clue, we will not refinance and bothering us all the time just makes us dislike you more.

We used PennyMac to finance and refinance our home. It was a great experience. Everyone on the team was very responsive and helpful. Bt using docu-sign the process was very quick. I would recommend PennyMac to everyone.

From beginning to end, my loan processing team were like a friend giving me financial advise. The response time was excellent. Mrs Taylor and Mr Ligon are very valuable assets to this company and their customers. I would definitely have them take care of my business anytime.

Great experience not a lot of work on my part. The application process was quick and easy as they were able to obtain documents through other sources.My representative, Aimee Mack, contacted me weekly and let me know every step of the journey. It was good to have someone always checking in so I didn't have to wonder what was coming next in the process.

Horrible company to work with if you ever receive an insurance claim payout. They insist checks are made payable to both parties so you are forced to endorse the check. Where it becomes incredibly difficult is getting paid out. This year i had to replace the roof to my home due to storm damage. check was issued for $12k with another 6k to be paid out once the roof was installed. The difference due to depreciation. To install a new roof would run 18k and every roofing company had a 50% deposit required to begin work. PennyMac was only willing to issue 30% of the funds from the check, not nearly enough to begin work. Money was tight and was unable to secure the remaining funds for a good period of time. We had a wicked storm brewing that had I not come up with the funds in time would have destroyed everything i owned. I called my insurance company who informed me that nothing would have been covered bc I had not repaired my roof. i called PennyMac to ask if they would have covered. the damages and they told me it wasnt their responsibility to cover the contents of my home. These guys are the absolute worst mortgage company when it comes to personal relationships. They couldnt care less about their clients as evidenced above. I called for weeks and spoke with numerous loss draft staff and at least 5 supervisors. No one helped. No one lifted a finger. This wasnt the only claim i have had to file in the past cpl years and every time its the same lack of concern. They dont give a S.....

PennyMac is very courteous. They show you that that wasn't your business. They refinanced my first home and mortgaged my forever home. They were willing to beat other mortgage companies' closing cost estimates. And I was also able to close a few days early. If I had questions or concerns they were very responsive whether it was email or phone. The PennyMac team is great!

Our mortgage was already through PennyMac & they made the process of taking out a VA Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan (VA IRRRL) very seamless. 2.25% was available on the market at the time & PennyMac made it clear to me I would get that rate. Everything was done online leading up to the closing date. On close, a rep came to our house at a convenient time & finished all the in-person paper work that was required. I would recommend them to anyone.

PennyMac was very competitive with their rate and my previous mortgage was through them. This gave me a sense of familiarity with them. They called me often to keep me up to date with anything they needed or where they were at in the process and I was never guessing throughout the whole process. They also keep loans in house!

Highly recommend PennyMac!! We chose to refinance with them because our existing loan was with them. They were amazing. So fast and painless. Fantastic rates as well. It was a no-brainer to go with PennyMac on this one.

Rapid service with great efficiency, guidance and concerns for my convenience. There were smooth exchanges of electronic documents that never had a problem. I never touched a sheet of paper until the signing. Am definitely feeling very lucky to have benefitted from the all-time low interest rate! Many thanks!
