PenFed Credit Union Progress St, East Stroudsburg

*Writing this as the check is in shipping* This review is not just for everyone but especially the people which this may be your first car loan and that may have great credit but not a extensive history and are looking for a car loan. I went to a dealer was quoted a 17% interest rate! I took ot upon myself to go to the bank of my choice. After reviews and searching I came down to two. One was DriveLime or something like that, and PenFed. Drive was up in the 14% range. Then with Pen with my credit and term I was quoted 4%! I read my paperwork. Make sure you do too. Understand what your getting into. After some verification I was approved. The one downside is everything may not be instant. And it could take a week to get the check. But it's a no brainer that saving $8000++ outweighs the week wait. Luckily I got another car but even a rental wouldn't be bad.. The people are friendly that I've talked to and I got no complaints. If anything changes I'll update this. But I can't see much going wrong unless it's on my end. Just pay your bill that you've made your obligation to.

She made this so easy for my hectic schedule! She did all the work...I applied over the phone while she listened to my three grandbabies in the background...lol...and I signed the paperwork the next day with a check-in-hand, and was driving home the next day in my new vehicle.... grandbabies and all!! Thank you PenFed...and thank you JoAnn for your patient professionalism! I never need to go anywhere but PenFed! Red carpet treatment with ease!

I had some trouble with the application so i went into the branch and Misty helped me and solved my issue in less then 10mins

4 years ago I left an overwhelmingly negative review of this credit union. Since then, it has changed hands and went from valor to penfed. This change has been fantastic and the place has really cleaned up it's act. I no longer have a single complaint and am quite well satisfied with the service they provide.

Place is a joke all the locations and over the phone customer service. Never can get a hold of their fraud department. I work odd hours and they close at 459. Save your time and money and do not open accounts here. Held on to deposit for 3 months.

PenFed is a great credit union. I was recommended prior to becoming a customer. The bank staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for your banking needs. No crazy fees & other costs to have the account. Just a $5 minimum to open an account. Drive up, atm & inside services available.

Penfed sent me a letter offering a Visa CC and the rates were awesome I simply called spent about 10 mins with one of there customer service reps and was instantly approved with large credit limit and was inrolled in there credit union to start a savings account with an initial deposit of $5.00 and 5 days later I received my cards. It was that easy.

Penn fed has help our family now for 2 decades and continue to support and assist Misty is the best Thanks for the years of Service at the local level.

Never know when lobby is open. No notice telling you only drive through is open. Drive through service is horrible. Very slow.
