Peacock Ridge Alabama Ave, North Lawrence

My daughter had her wedding at Peacock Ridge at the end of May and we had a truly lovely day. The Peacock Ridge staff that were there to help us the day of the wedding were friendly, available, and kept things running smoothly. The venue was immaculate, the grounds were extremely well manicured, the decorations available in the bottom of the barn were organized and easy to find. The room for groom/groomsmen and the little house for the bride/bridesmaids were great places to wait/get ready. The animals at Peacock Ridge added a special touch to the day. We felt that the flowers planted around the venue and around the outdoor ceremony site were beautiful and enough so we did not need to order any extra flowers for the outdoor ceremony site or the outside of the barn. The beauty of the inside of the barn also allowed us to do minimal extra decorating. We felt very accommodated by Peacock Ridge and we were able to do everything we wanted for the wedding. My daughter and her fiancée were able to visit the barn several times before the wedding in order to plan. Cindy answered all of our questions promptly leading up to the wedding day. We were able to remove requested decorations from the barn early in order to have our florist arrange centerpieces using the decor available from Peacock Ridge. The staff was very welcoming of our dog who was in the wedding party and made it easy for us to have him there. The bride and groom were able to take photos in the field with the horses at sunset. We felt our guests, including children, were treated very well by the Peacock Ridge staff. The wedding was beautiful and relaxed and fun; everything we hoped it would be. I would highly recommend Peacock Ridge.

Our experience with Cindy and Peacock Ridge was nothing short of perfect and magical. Everything from looking at the venue the first time until the end of our wedding went smoothly. Cindy was incredibly patient with our endless questions, and letting us look at the venue a few times to decide how we wanted the set up and decor. All of our guests mentioned how magical the venue was. The outdoor ceremony area was breathtaking, and you can't beat the pictures when the sun starts setting. The whole property gives unlimited possibility for perfect pictures. The outdoor back bar is adorable with the peacock house and rustic glam feel. And the inside building/barn is gorgeous, with the wood beams and lights and chandeliers. The animals were the cherry on top in bringing a fun whimsical feel to our perfect wedding <3 We can't thank Peacock Ridge and Cindy enough for the entire experience.

After visiting Peacock Ridge for the first time, we cancelled the remainder of our venue tours that very same day. We knew we had found something special the moment we pulled in the drive. There is so much character at Peacock Ridge Farms. Cindy did an amazing job decorating the interior of the barn to make it feel like more than just a "rustic" venue. It's truly stunning, especially once it gets dark and all the twinkling lights turn on. It made our wedding feel so intimate, which is exactly what we were going for. Although it can hold 200 people, we ended up with 165-170 people and that felt like the perfect amount for the space without it feeling too cramped. The property is absolutely stunning and provides a gorgeous fall backdrop with all the changing leaves! My bridesmaids loved how cute and unique the bridal suite was, but were overall thankful we used another space to get ready in, as it is a little small for 8 people. Even though it poured on our day, we were able to transform the ceremony space to be indoors and it still turned out beautiful simply because the inside of the barn is decorated so nicely and light so romantically! (So brides - DON'T panic about your back up plan! I promise the pictures and video still turn out absolutely beautiful!) Cindy also provided us with a lot of preferred vendors who had worked at Peacock Ridge previously and we were lucky to have an experienced vendor team. All the vendors we spoke with immediately knew just how special Peacock Ridge was when we told them where we'd be getting married in late October. If there's a date available - book it quick! You won't regret looking back and having Peacock Ridge be the place you & your partner become one!

I would be careful when choosing your venue, I was hesitant to post a review because I am not one to drag anyones business or complain. Although several of my guests, including myself and my husband were harassed by the police and followed from the venue due to the owner claiming everyone was drunk. Complete entrapment. Luckily she was wrong and nothing came of it but I would like to warn others that they are on a first name basis with the Lawrence Township Police. It’s a shame such a beautiful venue has to have such a prune running it.

There are not enough stars in the world to rate my experience with Peacock Ridge. It is more than just a gorgeous venue. Cindy the owner was such a gem to work with. She made the entire process so easy and without her my day wouldn’t have been flawless. Her dedication to keeping the venue stunning and dedication to her couples is unmatched. My husband and I can’t thank peacock ridge enough for our absolutely perfect day!!!!! Wish we could do it again and again!!

I had my wedding here in the fall and couldn't say enough great things about the venue, Cindy and the rest of her staff. They were so helpful from the day I booked the venue, throughout the wedding planning process allowing me to tour the venue as many times as I needed, and answered all of my questions. I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding anywhere else.

My nephew was married there on Memorial Day, what a beautiful place. Well set up, everything handled beautifully.

I was a guest for a wedding at this fun venue. Very unique and everyone seemed comfortable. The bridal house was very cute inside. The swan and peacocks helped make the view unique. I loved the mix-match of chairs and china as well the furniture on the outdoor patio. The only caution I saw was the uneven floor for the outdoor patio.
