Wont ever go back in im a guitarrist and have been playing for 23 yrs and the sold me a 7 string with a bad bridge and when i bought it from them it is 200 brand new and i paid 150 for an instrument that wont intonate the neck is leaning in the pocket also and they only offered 75 dollars,the condensor mic has ground issues.and the guitar has dents dings and scratches.not worth 150 only worth 70 dollars

I came in to shop a laptop. I found one and the customer service person asked me if I needed help. I asked about the computer (macbook pro) and she told me all about it. Said it was a 2015 model. This is a big purchase and for my purposes I needed to know the manufacture date and trusted she was telling me the truth. Upon check out I asked about returns. The lady said "24 hours" to bring back. So I paid and left. So it wasn't 2015.. it was 2010!! That's a deal breaker and so I brought it right back. Well, "no cash refund" store credit only. I'm sure they get idiots.... but I was misled and came right back. Talked to manager...NO. Funny thing was my fiancé picked a $1,200 ring out which was our secondary reason for being there. NO SALE FOR THEM. it's just shady bad business to not tell you the truth, honest mistake or not. Then not disclose "no cash" until you've paid and see receipt. And finally not use discretion with refunds. Sad

Very friendly sales lady sold me a guitar and amp which I’m delighted to own. Stop in every day cause inventory always is changing.

Went to pawn king about a week ago. My wife went there to sell or pawn a few items and every time she came back she would tell me the manager was highly disrespectful. So i went in there to test the waters and see was it just her imagination but sure enough the manager was highly disrespectful so i called him on it and we exchange words. Towards the end of the conversation the manager told me he would shoot me if he ever see me. Like bro, they didnt stop making guns when you were born. My advice to anybody who is thinking about going here, dont. Its the disrespect for me and the nonchalant way they treat customers. The owner isnt worth talking about either

I hadn’t sold items at a pawnshop before and I found the staff hard to deal with. The guy working wouldn’t tell me what they would buy the items for unless I stated what I thought they were worth first and of course his counter response was much lower. His general demeanor was also rude throughout the transaction. What’s the problem with just being straightforward with customers? Will definitely try to avoid dealing with this business and pawnshops in general again.

Julia was a very nice lady and was able to get the product I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. Thank you being so nice, you are a nice lady. I will be back for more thing.

I brung a 1000 dollar Production machine in there ask for 250 loan they wanted to give me 150 for a brand new machine still in plastic an box that's my second time going to them with a product an each time they try to rob u at least the one in PEORIA I kindly walked back out with the machine they dont have to worry bout me coming back

I only have one complain. Service is good but if you pawn a fire arm it takes about 2 hours to release it back to you because employee have to contact the manager who is at his home to get permission from him to release your fire arm . when they call his house he may or may not answer right away, therefore you are in the store waiting to receive a call from him, otherwise service is good.

My faith has been restored. It's been a little over a year now since I posted a review. I was so upset but I remind a loyal customer. I haven't had any issues since. I love buying their Jewelry and if I need a quick loan They granted half of what you pay.

Nice friendly people work here:and pretty fair. You can sell:pàwn:and layaway I didn't know that!!

I have been a customer for years and have seen people come and go; the great deals are endless.I recommend the Jewelry. I found some beautiful rings for a great prices . I was amazed that Fine jewelry would be priced and sold at 1/3 lower, cost compared to major competitors. Customer services could be better.

The workers are kind and nice And very professional! They try very hard to help you as much as they can. Key factors are you must own your item, they don't quote price over the phone very much because of the above reason and wether it is resaleable. Once there these guys and gals are really friendly and caring and will try to be fair.

I've always got good service with them...they will work with if ur stuff is about to get forfeited and the make the pay back reasonable....

Rude employees and they always find ways to con you when selling.

Staff was great with customer friendly service, however there not great at being acknowledgeable regarding the new FOID CARD DELAY I have a printout from them stating with information that my expire foid is still valid because I did all the necessary steps and have the application approval number etc and there saying that’s not good enough. So my firearm is so called held hostage by them smh now I have everything and there making me wait DONT EVER PURCHASE FROM THEM

I had dealt with pawn king many times it was a great place to do buisness when the pekin store was open friendly and fair?the last two times I went to the peoria location the cheapskate manager low balled me by hundreds of dollars on two firearms I was trying to get loans on firearms hold their value indefinetely,I was also getting info on putting a PS5 on lay away while I was there which was $900,so by the fool being cheap and trying to pinch a penny it coasted him over 900 dollars in the long run,I will not be doing buisness there ever again!

I have had a good experience with pawn King several times. I enjoy the inventory, there is always something different!! I worked with a man who was knowledgeable and answered every question I had. He had a big voice, but very helpful!!! Thank you!!

I loaned a 2 DS xL here and I just have to say I will never be coming here again I came in and paid for my 2 DS and didnt realize it was broken until I got home and tried to play on it. The lights still work but the screen no longer turns on. I dont know what happened to it but they said they cant do anything about it and they dont know what happened. When I took my ds in it worked perfectly and now the screen doesnt even come on at all i have shopped here and loaned here before and never had any problems. But this time it seems like someone dropped my ds or something and wouldnt take accountability for it. Very unsatisfied

I'm a disabled vet and the owner here is extremely rude. I took my friend here to sell some stuff. I wasn't wearing a mask because I have really bad PTSD. Originally they said it was fine if I had a doctor's note I just had to show it I didn't realize I didn't have my wallet so I go out to the car... When I come in a customer was harassing me for being parked in the handicap spot. I told him I'm a disabled vet it's clearly stated on my plates. So I go up to the front to show my note for not wearing the mask the guy who runs it tells me it's the law I have to wear a mask or get out. And then he denied to buy my friends stuff and tells her to try and sell it somewhere else. Very unprofessional.

Love love love Pawn King. Been going there for years and it's always nice people eager to help. Jessica is awesome as well as the rest of them. Definitely recommend Pawn King.

Always friendly I have bought a ton of quality used tools and music gear here, if you notice something's been there awhile sometimes they will cut a solid deal. Worth the visit before going on the snap on truck
