I've come here a few times to pawn my laptop and Al has met expectations and always has my best interest at heart. In return I know my laptop is in safe keeping. I appreciate him also because I've come more than once with the laptop and he's never turned me down.

Positive experience from first contact to sealing the deal. Came in near closing time to check out a vintage Fender amp and was welcomed right in. First impressions are usually right and I knew from walking in the door that it was a professional establishment. The shop is meticulously clean and very well organized (products grouped logically). I was politely greeted by whom I believe to be the proprietor (based on other reviews) of the establishment. After some small talk about traffic it was time to test the amp. The employee let me choose from about a dozen guitars they had on sale to demo the amp, which I did without pressure or any pushy sales pitches. After playing with every knob for about 20 min, we had a discussion about old amps, traffic, and the apparent lack of pawn culture on Long Island. Long story short; Bought the amp and even if I hadn't, would def recommend the shop and can definitely say 5 stars all the way!!

I found Pawn Shop Express because they had the most google reviews in the area with over 4 star rating. That got my attention and the reviews definitely held up. I met with Al who assisted me with pawning a few gold pieces of family heirlooms. He gave me more than what I expected for the pieces and I will definitely be back again. Highly recommend. Quick and efficient.

My husband and I were able to secure a loan there recently and it really helped when we needed it most. He was fair and respectful. Everything was quick and easy and even though it was a tough time for us he made it as painless as possible. Would def do business again.
