OTA is proving to be the ideal financial educational answer that I’ve been looking for. The one day and three-day sessions I attended were phenomenal. The presenters were awesome, the environment was great, and the counselors and staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The course material is in depth and extremely detail, geared to prepare you to be a successful trader in today’s markets. I’m scheduled to start my official OTA training in upcoming weeks, and I’m extremely excited.

So far so good. The staff did a good job in guiding me in the choosing of the most convenient type of investment that suits me better. I would not trust other bad reviews, which are mostly from people who attended the initial sessions only. Those reviews are mostly from customers who did not join the main courses. These bad reviews are based just on the introductory presentations that don't reflect the real immense value of OTA curriculum. After joining the program, and going through the classes I had many Aha! moments. Classes are very educative, friendly for those who do not know much about economics. I would recommend OTA to anyone that posses a little bit of discipline power, who wants to make extra-money. I feel very happy and pleased with their products and services.

The staff at OTA in Tyson's Corner are incredible. They are genuinely interested in my success. During classes, Rick is going around the room from student to student, helping us keep up with the instructor. It can be very overwhelming, but they are available to help get us through each day. Without them, I don't think I would have ever been confident enough to brave the world of trading. I am looking forward to continue learning other forms of trading.

This review is from my own experience, after reading other reviews I was bit hesitant to write but it might help those thinking to join the OTA to have an idea prior to attend the 3 days training, Specially after their lawsuit with FTC and because I received few sales calls again from the OTA to join the classes, I didn't join after attending the 3 days market timing class which I paid couple of hundreds for it with refund policy which turned to be not valid once you attend the 3 days classes or open their booklet. One of the reason I didn't join the program was the way their sales system works and they talk about their patented methods, the 3 Day introduction/market timing is just to get you their and prepare for the endless, pushy and consistent sales sessions starting second day while you already paid some amount and had the free breakfast. The instructors just go over different topics and QAs with no hieratically in those 3 days because that is not exactly the training or the main point there but an opportunity to hard sale the main programs costing 60k to 25k where it gets tricky and you have to pick one or else you will be called every 10 minutes into another hard sale session until you either join or leave the location for good. I suggest to read their lawsuit on FTC Sep 2020 and in case you still want to join read the refund policy for the 3 days market timing classes before making the payment unless it is free now during pandemic. The amount for programs is way more than the amount of trading for some . I took other inexpensive options to train myself and not regretted.

My wife and I just completed a “Core Strategy” course last week (in November 2018). Our experience was extremely positive, And I would not hesitate to recommend the Wash DC office of Online Trading Academy to anyone. We have not taken courses at any other location, so I cannot comment on those. The staff at OTA were extremely professional, cordial, and helpful in every way and were focused on us users having a positive and effective educational experience. Our instructor was Mr. Craig Schaffer, and active trader himself. His instruction was extraordinary in every way. His command of the subject was stellar, his delivery wise rapid but effective, and he supported the course content with many real-life examples. His personal tutoring during our laboratory sessions and add icing to the cake, and it was obvious that he has a passion for his profession and to help students become successful traders. 2 Thumbs Up (That’s all I have!)

I have completed the 1/2 day free class and the one on one session with an education counselor. The class was very informative and I would highly recommend this class to anyone considering investing in stocks, options, futures or the forex market. Education is the key to success. During my one on one session, my counselor reviewed my expectations and goals and recommended a plan I believe will lead me to the retirement goals I desire. The entire staff appeared dedicated and ready to assist their students in setting and achieving their desired goals. I look forward to working with the Online Trading Academy.

After attending the workshops, I decided to enroll as a student at the Online Trading Academy (OTA). I was immediately impressed with the Education Director, Eric Washington, at the Washington, DC office who was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He took the time to meet with me one on one and help guide me through the decision making process to carve out a training curriculum that fit my requirements. He also introduced me to his great team, Rick and Brandon who has also been instrumental in providing me guidance and training. Along the way, I met a few great instructors including Chuck Fulkerson and Reginald Ringgold. I recently visited the Baltimore facility and met some more good people. My overall experience at OTA has been great and it feels like I’m among a family of professionals who care and want to see me become successful. I’m really excited about learning to become a professional trader while continuing to build my relationship with a great group of people like Eric and the rest of the OTA team. I highly recommend that you visit the OTA Washington, DC facility, talk to Eric about your training needs and get to meet the rest of the OTA family.

Excellent classes, instructors and staff who are there to help you increase your personal wealth. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable about stocks, futures, options, and forex and always available for assistance after the classes. Most importantly, the curriculum gets better and better each time I take the classes or participate in the XLTs. Lifetime learning when it comes to trading stocks, options, and other securities is essential to building wealth and OTA excels in that area. The staff is also consultative, supportive and helpful. Gone are the high pressure sales tactics -- thank goodness. It was really clouding the good work the instructors were doing.

I'm a new student and my initial impression is very positive regarding OTA. I've been through the Core Strategy Class and spending an entire week with a successful professional trader was invaluable. I've been trading for several years and I still learned A LOT that week from someone that's been making a living at it for 30+ years. Having lifetime access to a network of professionals is excellent. I'm excited about moving on to Options and Futures in April :-).

Everything about the academy, and the Washington center is perfect. I just took a 5-day course, and it was more beneficial than I ever could’ve imagined, especially for a new trader like myself. Between core strategy and the classes offered, I believe this is the most valuable trading experience in the world. I can’t wait to visit again!

Love working with OTA - it has changed our lives! The DC/Baltimore group has been incredibly supportive. They have helped, encouraged and challenged us every step of the way. The programs, counselling and communication are first class and on going. What we have learned about trading and experienced in trading is directly related to this amazing organization and the individuals there. We have had to work hard , but have been continually motivated and instructed by successful, intelligent teachers and counselors who have made it their goal to help us succeed.

The staff is remarkable and classes are thorough and well taught. Instructors put their heart and soul into teaching and it reflects among the students. I've been taking classes and an active participant in OTA events for 3 years now and I'm happy to see the community grow over the years.

Just got back from teaching Pro Trader and I have to say, the Washington DC campus is exceptional. There is incredible student support there given by Rick and Brandon as well as Jessica who coordinates almost everything associated with student classes and events. The center is laid out beautifully and the classrooms lend themselves well to learning and student participation. I joined OTA December 2014 and it was one of the biggest decision and investment financially and time wise looking at my future. The OTA team, education counsellors Jerry initially took his time to explain in detail to decided where to start, Rick, Brandon took their personal time once a week organizing session to make sure whoever is invested and taking it seriously have progress. I got a chance to meet other students who are in the same learning process so I am not alone !!. I would add trading is not easy needs discipline, dedication but with great OTA instructors & help of a great team it is doable.

Heard about OTA on 105.9 FM. Came in for the workshop and enrolled as a student in 2015. By far the best financial decision I've ever made in my life. I really wish I'd taken the step years ago. The staff at the Tysons Corner location are beyond great, and its such a great learning environment . Having an amazing week this week at the Futures class offered at Online Trading Academy Washington DC. The live trades being presented from the front of the room and the student's ability to be Hands-On and participate in them have created an awesome learning atmosphere. The students work ethic and participation have also contributed to the great progress each student has made this week. Online Trading Academy teaches you the tools and techniques that will increase your returns hand over fist. Great staff and complimentary programs with online access. Definitely more than you get from any other trading class. Trader Bootcamp with Rick and Brandon offers a jump start to investing the right away. I am so excited to starting my trading career on the right foot.

My experience with Online Trading Academy DC center has been incredibly positive. I just completed a 7 days core strategy class today and I was very impressed with the material, the hands-on labs and the staff and the level of effort they're putting into ensuring no student is left behind. The instructors I have I had so far have been outstanding and very helpful. These guys don’t just want you to be in class warming up in seats or see you as a dollars sign they truly want you to participate and take full advantage of the program. Also, I don’t know of anywhere you can retake a class for life to include the new curriculum and all you have to pay for the class is the cost of the new books. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend OTA or the DC-Center to friend or family member that wants to learn how to trade and be successful in it. My hats off to folks at DC-Center.

My experiences with OTA over the past 4 years over 5 courses has been excellent. The facilities are well kept and the support staff are friendly and very helpful. The training is top notch through instructors with practical experience in the topic taught, replete with practical knowledge, tips and "how to" examples in a learning environment that is caring and safe for the beginner as well as the more experience. OTA does training well and with your comfort most in mind.

I've been a student and instructor at OTA for over 10 years and it amazes me how dedicated the counselors are and staff is, especially at the Washington, DC center. Just did a class and had a great time with the students and got to know the entire team. Great center and great location. OTA is THE place to go if you want to learn about trading the markets. The staff is very attentive and helpful. They have the best post-class student support I have ever experienced from any academic institution – the on-going education is invaluable and amazing. The instructors are fantastic, and so is the local staff at the Tyson’s office.

Online Trading Academy is hands down the best company I have ever worked for. Not only do they care immensely about every last student, but also treat their employees like family. I have had the pleasure of knowing, and working directly with the DC OTA staff for many years. Their staff, facility, and level of Student Support are absolutely fantastic. Let me just say that this training has been totally beyond my expectations. Learning how to trade from the experts and learning how to read charts before a downtrend or uptrend happens is definitely worth the price of you checking this out and becoming a student. I only wish I had taken this earlier in my professional life. But my ultimate goal, the what is my why, is to become a successful Day Trader and just generate a living income just from trading. This week, my husband and I, attended the Futures five day training with Jerry Baldwin. He not only taught us the basics of Futures, but through hands on exercises with the equities, we were able to develop proven technical skills for successful active day trades. Great instructors, great material! If you want to have more security and control over your finances and maybe even thinking about working for yourself, I would highly reccomend coming and at least checking it out. I learned so much from the instructors and the staff is wonderful as well. They take very good care of us making sure we have everything we need and are getting what is being taught.

I came to Online Trading Academy expecting to simply listen to their pitch. Little did I know they have a unique 'professional' strategy for trading in the markets. Not a hard sell but an opportunity to make your trading in the market simple and profitable. Anyone who wants to trade in the markets would be remiss to not learn this method. The staff is always cheerful and always ready to help with any concerns you have with your trading plan and results. Highly profession and successful instructors do nothing but instill confidence that "I can do this too". Follow the plan, get the gains and enjoy a life of prosperity and independence. A very large and active trading community sharing experiences and perspectives, allows you to socialize with like minded successful individuals. What's not to like?

As an instructor, I've had the pleasure of teaching at the Washington office on numerous occasions. The office has state of the art equipment and a great staff that really goes the extra mile when it comes to helping the students. This is a great place to learn how to trade, and the staff provides a fun learning environment as well.

What a fantastic experience and a wonderful opportunity! I had listened to Chris Koomey, the owner of this OTA, on the radio for months before I (and my husband) actually made it into OTA for an introductory session. OTA here in Washington DC area is a class act. From continental breakfasts to catered lunch to coffee, tea and water throughout the day is exceptional.
