Old National Bank E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington

We have our health savings account at Old National and we are so glad that we do. They are so kind and professional with every transaction. In the past we have used another location only because of close proximity to our home, but after my wife's positive experience with Esther, we are now going to be using this branch. Highly recommend anyone who needs a friendly banker to call Esther, or anyone who needs a place for their Health Savings to give them a call.

I was lured to Old National with one of those "$200 if you open an account" promotions. Proved to not only be one of the worst banking experiences that I've ever had but also to be one of the worst customer service experiences period. First, what the other reviewer has said is exactly true. Go here if you want the worst traits of a small town bank and a large impersonal bank all rolled together. With Old National you can look forward to: very limited ATM access, inconvenient hours, and a super aggressive fee structure coupled with probably the longest time for a deposit to process that I’ve ever experienced. Then there’s the customer service (of which this branch is the absolute worst). Not only is no one in much a hurry to help you, but a lot of the tellers go out of their way to avoid even acknowledging you. I can’t tell you how many times I waited in line and waited and waited…not because they were busy but because no one seemed interested in helping. I also can’t tell you how many times very simple, reasonable requests (like wanting deposit envelopes) were met with stares. However, they will be sure to try to get to sign up for other services and credit cards at every available opportunity. Avoid this bank at all costs.

i went in there for $20 worth of quarters. everything went well. i cannot attest to the quality of any of their other services though.

Esther is very knowledgeable and passionate about taking care of her clients. Not only is she an expert on banking, she is so caring. It is hard to find someone as personable as Esther. Highly recommend

Run, do not walk from this bank. It has a unique combination of the costs of lack of scale (such as no international service and lack of robust ATM networks) and the most hideous big bank practices (such as hidden fees, and multiplying fees). I had an account that went dormant. They charged fees on the account until it was negative. Then they charged $10 a day for the balance having done negative -- as a result of their fees. Truly horrible policies. For a small, personal service bank People's State Bank is downtown. For a large impersonal bank, with slightly less hideous practices, Chase is also downtown.
