I cannot recommend Ocean Lending enough. Best refinancing experience by far (and our past experiences were pretty good!). Communication was excellent. I felt like Michael was one step ahead of everything throughout the whole process. It was a seamless and easy experience. Highly recommend.

Sam Lee and Ocean Lending was a great home refinancing experience for us. They were knowledgeable, professional, and generally enjoyable to work with. Because of their online tools and good resources and partners, the process went very quickly and painlessly.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Ocean Lending & their staff throughout our refinance process. Lacy Edwards was great; making herself available to answer questions at various hours, throughout the day, whenever needed. She kept me posted on interest rate changes, required documentation, & even arranged for our closing to be signed out of state, when we were away for a weekend. Lacy Edwards at Ocean Lending is by far one of the best loan officers that I have had to work with! She's truly an asset to the company. She goes above and beyond to find the right loans for your purchase, she is very easy to communicate with (response time, friendly customer service.) Super knowledgeable & efficient as well. If the appraiser didn't take so long to get the appraisal done (no fault to Ocean Lending or Lacy) the home could have closed weeks early! I truly look forward to future purchases with her:)

I couldn't be more happy with my cash out refinance experience. My Loan Originator Lacy was amazing! Always very quick to get back to me with any update to the process or to answer any of my 13,000 questions I had. It did not matter if it was an email, text or a phone call. When I say quick I am referring to minutes not hours or days later! My refinanced closed well within the timeframe I was given the first time I talked to her. I would highly recommend doing business with Ocean Lending, specifically Lacy Edwards and the team she is connected to.

Two words: STRESS. FREE. My main concern with going through something as complicated as a closing (and a remote closing at that) is the level of communication. The whole team at Ocean Lending blew my expectations. They made sure to explain each part thoroughly before we got there, were available by phone, email, and text at every step of the process and were incredibly responsive when I reached out. I never had a chance to build up any anxiety because they were so quick to get right back to me with any of my questions or concerns. I guess it's hit and miss with this company. I was lead on to believe my loan was going through all the way till 8 days before funding. I jumped through so many hoops with them and I was so excited to get it done. Then all of a sudden they say I need to change my refi to an investment loan and by this time the rates shot up. They had all of the documentation at the halfway point that they could have changed it then. I was still hopeful because I really needed this loan to help my autistic grandchildren. Now I have to come up with 6 months of reserve in my bank account and they knew I was broke. They even had me pay for an appraisal even though they knew it was going to change. I see all of these great reviews on here and wonder if they're true. Heartless company, but I had a great loan officer that kept it going just for me. Don't do me any favors. Good luck maybe you will be one of the lucky ones.

Lacy Edwards is a true professional! She was always available to any questions we had no matter what time of day (or night) it was. She was very transparent and provided us with all the important information we needed to move through this process easily and quickly! I would recommend Lacy to anyone!

Our experience with Filiz at Ocean Lending was more than satisfactory. Her commitment to the transaction and our case was outstanding. We shopped around and had at least 7 different quotes from other lenders, including direct banks and brokerage services. 6/25/21 I am rating my experience with Ocean Lending Home Loans and all those I came into contact with during the process of refinancing my home with a 5-star rating, and in particular, Carlos Echeveste, Sr Mortgage Banker at Ocean Lending, who was my main contact person at Ocean Lending for the length of the refinance process, and with whom I interacted with most at Ocean Lending in California. No matter when I contacted Mr. Echeveste, or he contacted me for needed information and/or materials, etc., he was always friendly, courteous, and respectful, and most importantly, took whatever time was necessary to explain processes and/or procedures to me. And, I don't know how the company does this, but whenever I called, I never, not once, had to wait to get connected to Carlos. I found this to be very advantageous, especially if I was pressed for time for my own schedule. I am especially grateful to Carlos, from the beginning, for working to ensure my refinancing, though my case was a bit complicated. And, him doing that all through the process made me, and my family, feel he, and Ocean Lending, always had our best interests at heart! And, I want to thank Trent Fordyce, Loan Processor, for all of his help as well.
