    Following in the footsteps of many other reviewers before me, I have been a member of Nymeo for over four years and watched the customer service, care, and ability to effectively manage customer concerns diminish to nothing. After multiple promises of follow-up calls that never came, completely wrong information being provided, dates of service being given only to be never fulfilled. Due to the incompetency and inability to conduct business properly, we have lost several hundred dollars, and untold time. We will be taking our business elsewhere, and I highly recommend other members do the same. Individuals looking for a local credit union should look to other financial institutions as Nymeo does not place customer financial needs at the top of their priority list.

    All experiences have been a nightmare, tried to buy a bed topper online from walmart and the transaction was rejected. The reason for Transaction rejection is still unknown to me. Received a call from the fraud detection center and after 30 minutes waiting on hold I finally talked to someone who than transferred me to another branch to handle the case. I waited for 40 minutes on hold and still have not spoken to anyone yet. I proceeded to call the fraud detection branch on another phone and waited another 10 minutes on hold before talking to someone. I told them to "not transfer me that I have been on hold for 51 minutes". She recommended to have some one call me from the fraud detection branch to address this concern. After 1 hour and 16 minutes and still have not spoken to someone the FRAUD CENTER HUNG UP ON MY WIFE AND I!! I had to tell the secretary to take my phone number down so they would have the correct number, that was 2 days ago and still no call and debit card was turned off without notice. Tried to purchase fuel on April, 21 2020 and found debit card had been turn off by Nymeo. Just by chance I was carrying my other credit card to purchase the fuel, if I had not been carrying that other card I would not have been able to purchase fuel and would have been stuck there. NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE WITH THIS BANK, I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY RUDE OR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ANY OTHER BANK. THE STAFF AT NYMEO NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. GOING TO CHANGE BANK.

    Nymeo Credit Union is really the worst bank. This commentary will be focused on the Frederick branch. I have had Nymeo for about 14 years now, I remember when they used to be Comstar Credit Union. In the past, I have attempted to get a car loan from them and a home loan. Each time I went through the process, I give them all the pertinent information that they asked for, and they somehow cannot process my file. I am promised callbacks, and no one ever calls back. I call them back and they still are very confused about how to process a loan application. So, I just left it alone and went elsewhere. More recently, I had a similar problem with Nymeo not sending payment to another payee on time. This happened 3/1/2020. I got the email about when payment would be sent, received the email that it was sent, and again the funds were withdrawn from my account. Come to find out the funds were not sent until 3/16/2020, where a late fee was put onto my account. I called into the Frederick location and got someone else named Becca. She was not very helpful or customer service oriented. She basically told me everything I already told her and advised me in the future I should 'pay my bills sooner 'to avoid any mail issues. That was vey interesting for me because this is the same bill pay that I have been using and every month it is fine. But in March when the payment is not sent, me the customer is advised to pay sooner? I have already put my bill pay to be sent 2 weeks ahead of time, how much sooner do you want me to pay? I don’t just money to pay all my bill months in advance- clearly, she doe to make such an insensitive statement. The point of bill pay is for automation and convenience, which is clearly not the case here. She later states that because of COVID-19, the mail may be slow--Which is a clear-cut lie. The mail is still running, I get mail every single day. Oh, also I have family that works in the mail system. This is a hard time for everyone so to just shift the blame for your incompetence or inability to research a subject is horrible customer service. I asked to speak to a manager, she states that either Dawn or Taquan will call me back that same day because they were currently in a meeting. That was 4/1/2020- I have not received one phone call. I reached out to other areas of the bank, where I spoke with a Michael, who is an electronic channels clerk. He tried to help but really was not much help to be honest. I called the payee to try to figure out what was going on and received a response all in that same day. However, it took him several days to get back to me because he states they were investigating why my payment was received late and also states he could not get into contact with them… but I did. All the answers he told were things I already told him, so again wasn’t much help. After all that incompetence, I just decided to take that particular payee off. They advised that they sent a single check and that sometimes it can be late. Excuse me?? There is a delivery by date when you setup bill pay so after that the payor (Nymeo) should absorb any late fees. I feel as though that is another excuse because I can mail anyone a check today, and it will be received within 1-2 business days. I am sure the check was just sitting on someone’s desk for several days because nothing else makes sense. I don’t think it is fair that I pay my bill 2 weeks ahead of time, it doesn’t get sent until two weeks later, and then I am charged a late fee, for trusting a bank to perform their duties?? Make it make sense. Now fast forward until today, 4/22/2020. The payment that was ‘sent’ on 4/1/2020 is nowhere to be found. I researched out to Michael, as I have been in contact with him all April long. Hoping to get an answer this time. No one knows where my money was sent, the payor doesn’t have it, the payee doesn’t have it, no one knows and now I have a late fee. Again. Great. I am not sure how you can email someone for about a month and still not have concreate answers. But at least he tried, that’s more than the other staff members did.

    Trying to payoff a loan with them. Called 3 or 4 times, emailed 4 times to get the payoff information and where to send the money. These people are so incompetent it’s insane. I wouldn’t waste your time doing business or borrowing money with them

    If you live in Frederick MD and are looking for a branch , please do yourself a enormous favor and venture down the the Nymeo on buckeystown pike. They are fantastic

    (Frederick Md.)My online account has been locked for 2 months I have called over 20 times with no success. I have to drive 30 miles to an ATM to check my account balance as well as deposit money because the ones in my town are always broken and the bank branches are closed. Customer service is non existent!! As soon as I get a chance I'm definitely leaving this bank, Worst credit union in my opinion.

    I have been a member since Monocacy Federal Credit Union days (before Comstar). Some things have gotten better others not so much. They seem to want to be an actual bank nowadays but don't offer many bank services. I really wish they would get Zelle. I paid off a car loan with them early this year and still haven't received the line release. I don't use them too much anymore for day to day transactions

    Our experiences with NYMEO have all been excellent. We have experienced friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff who have taken the time to understand our needs. We like that we can choose personal service at a branch or by phone or use online services. NYMEO's rates are also the best we have found in the area.

    Why arevthere ATMs brokwn all the time. All in Frederick down at the same time again this week??? They said kast week they'd be fixed. Not 1 area to reach for even fraud? Seriously? Not 1 person in the entire company?
