BEWARE - UNETHICAL PRACTICES! We were longtime customers of NOVA Home Loans, including multiple refinances, until their unethical practices prevented us from purchasing a home. While under contract, the inspection revealed extensive safety issues that required re-negotiation with the seller. During these negotiations, the sellers agent informed us they had received another, higher offer and they were not willing to complete our requested repairs. Imagine our surprise when we realized that the other bidder was none other than NOVA employee Rich Mackall! We were working directly with Rich on this transaction, and he was aware of the amount of our offer. He used this information to outbid us and buy the house himself! Although we alerted NOVA of this ethical violation, they neglected to take any action. Apparently NOVA is not concerned about the ethical practices of their employees, nor are they interested in providing high quality service to their clients. It’s hard enough to buy a house in this market without worrying that the people who you are paying to represent you may use their insider knowledge for their own benefit! It is absolutely not worth the risk of using NOVA as your mortgage provider!

Kirk Weimer and his team did an exceptional job handling our home loan. We had a very tight deadline and he ensured that we closed on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable; his responses were always within a timely manner. We were always in constant communication about where we were in the process, and he made sure everything was taken care of in the most convenient way possible. I would definitely recommend Nova home loans to anyone looking to purchase a home. The customer service is impeccable!

Our agent was amazing at keeping us informed every step of the way. Even if there was nothing to report, we still received a weekly status call. The web portal was outstanding to organize tasks to be completed throughout the process.
