Northside Pawn Shop N Main St, Fort Worth

Clearly says they close at 8pm. We arrived at 7:54pm. Yes I realize it's almost closing time. We literally had one item to sell and rushed all the way across town to come here. We pull in and she's locking the doors and closing the gate refusing to let us sell our item. Would've taken 5 minutes but she wouldn't even talk to us. Wow. Rude and unprofessional. Customer service experience definitely needed. 👌

I give this place a one star. I showed up 20 min before 5 and the signs were on yet doors were locked. A staff member came to the door unlocked it and said we close at 5, I replied with ma’am but it’s only 4:40 and I’m really short on cash and need to pawn this tablet so I can make it to work tomorrow, she didn’t care and said I’m sorry but we want to get out at 5 and have already started closing. I was like but ma’am your sign is still on and it’s not 5. She didn’t care and said I’m sorry. All the other employees were laughing in the background. I’m a single mom and a week after the holidays money is already short and not getting paid for holidays like most Americans and being extra days off really set me behind. This place has horrible customer service and employees. I will never return to that place ever again and advise you to not give your money to a place that doesn’t give one care about its customers. Going forward I will take my business down the street.

Even though this place closes at 8 they closed doors about 20 minutes early and would not let me in. I was about to be stranded just needing to sell an item so that I would be able to get some gas and they would not let me in. This is horrible customer service and frankly insensitive human behavior.

Lazy employees. Called to check and see if they had a particular guitar in stock and the girl who answers immediately says no. I ask if they have any guitars in stock, again her answer is no. I wasn't too far down the street and I decided to stop in and see if they had another items in stock I wanted to buy. And sure enough there are 2 of the exact guitars I initially asked about mixed in with a few other guitars. Just pure laziness on her part.

Walked in 20 mins before closing and they wouldn't do business with me on a saddle. Told them I was there to buy a saddle for a price quoted to me earlier in the day and they told me to come back Monday morning when manager is there. I told them I live 700 miles away and just said sorry it's not convenient for you.. what a joke of a pawn shop.. employees need more training and manager needs to better train and learn to delegate to his employees if he isn't going to be in the store..

"Dont like the price, make an offer" $1 cheaper on an item with no tag Because it just came out. The Hispanic guy and girl are too expensive 😅 Especially for things that are broken already newsflash! It's a pawn shop, if I want to pay retail price I'll buy new with warranty. By the way, seems like every other week theres new employees so dont expect much

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The main manager lady needs to learn customer service skills. She lacks very bad. They sell broken stuff and then won’t let you exchange or return. So I’m out 400$ on a broken item they “claim wasn’t broke” I opened up the top and it’s clearly broke they bought and sold me broken equipment. Ask for owner or to speak to someone higher up and she won’t let you speak to anyone but her. Very rude will NEVER go back Tommy needs new employees

I was just in there less than 15 min.ago and the young girl that attended service for me had the poorest Customer service I had ever experienced. I took my item to ask if it was real and she quickly got 1 opinion ( without testing just verbal) and told me it was fake!!! How could they just say it like that without testing it or showing the customer (me) reasons to why they think it wasn't? She/they need to check every item to determine that because of we are just going by what we think, well then I think it's real does it make it real?

The staff was very good to me and worked with me one of the better pawn shops ever

Great customers service answered all my questions over the phone.
