My experience with Bob, Michelle and Samantha at Northeast Funding was nothing short of amazing! I will highly recommend my friends and family to use them. We had a special financial case and I never thought we'd be approved for a home loan but they assured me we were. I cannot speak highly enough about my experiences with Bob Rankin and his exceptional staff. My husband and I have used their services on multiple occasions, and they have always exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, every aspect of the process was explained thoroughly, and they were always available if we had a question or concern. I read all the reviews here and that’s the reason why I decided to go with this mortgage lender. What I should have noticed is that all the reviews are close to a year old so perhaps things used to be good before. My experience was not the best, I felt taken advantage of, not fully informed, and confused in the process. There were a lot of questions that I had. I’ve purchased properties before but not in New York so this was my first experience here. I have always worked with mortgage lenders And they have always been top notch except for this experience. Did I get the loan? yes, was it a good experience? No, did I feel well informed? No. perhaps if bob himself had handled my loan it would have been different.

After a horrible experience trying to obtain a loan with a bank with my first home, my husband and I utilized a different mortgage broker. There we had a wonderful experience! When the time came to upgrade our home, we reached out to the same broker. After receiving some unfavorable numbers, with PMI, I knew there were other options. In that time, Bob and I have formed a relationship in a local chamber business group. Contacting Bob was the best phone call we could have ever made. Bob Rankin is an outstanding mortgage broker and more importantly a very honest/transparent person. Bob made recommendations to us to increase my husband credit score to obtain a better interest rate. In the end, he helped us obtain a mortgage! Michelle in his office was vigilant in returning emails and keeping us informed. Northeast Funding was professional and made our loan process as easy as it could be on us. I've bought two homes now using northeast funding services, and if I had to do it again I wouldn't go anywhere else! The customer service, knowledge and professionalism is something that can't be rivaled. This past month I bought my latest home. In the beggining, I met with bob rankin, and he made it very simple to get a pre approval letter. He then explained what the best loan option for my situation would be, and explained absolutely everything in simple terms. He was able to lock me into a great interest rate, and then I began looking at houses. I looked at several houses, and every time I would call northeast funding services with the price of the house and the taxes, they answered every time and immediately gave me an accurate estimate of what exactly the monthly mortgage payment, and the amount of money needed to close would be. He honestly made it a lot less stressful knowing exactly what to expect if I was to put an offer in. When I was under contract on a house, everything was so easy because they are able to email all forms for you to sign, and your then able to fax it back to the office. Throughout the process of buying the house, michelle called me every time they received an update on the house right away. And anytime I called or emailed Michelle with a question about the paperwork or anything else about the house, I immediately got a response. Bob rankin came to my closing, and there were no issues. When I bought my first home three years ago, I had the same great experience with northeast funding services. I honestly have been nonstop recommending northeast funding services to all of my friends because I really do think that you can't get a better interest rate, and better customer service from anybody else. If your thinking about buying a house, you really need to give them a call and have a sit down conversation with them. You will feel so comfortable knowing exaclty what to expect and what you'll be able to afford.
