    Alex is so unprofessional!! They have the same cars on 3 different websites. Cars are hella over priced and high milage. This place is a scam!! Run far away.. Just take the bus and stack your money. Go to the real dealership. Even with bad credit you have the right down payment you'll get a car!!!!!

    These guys are awesome. I have been looking for a good deal on a truck for weeks and just drove off with a Ford F150. The sales manager, Michelle, got me a better rate than my preapproval with my bank. Jerry, the other sales manager gave me a great deal on the extended warranty.     Newport Motors did it once more. They understand how to keep their customers. Excellent service. Today I took my car in for an oil change (Thursday). I fully expected to pick it up either late tomorrow or Saturday because of too much rush. I wasn't in a hurry. However, I received the call and picked it up the same day. Thanks!     Friendly & courteous but they lie about their down payment. You need excellent credit over 700 to finance their advertised $49 dollar down. Also they will switch you from their 4% payments advertised on their car windows and jack it up, in my case to 12.9%. Be aware!

    Just bought a car last weekend and love my 2020 Altima. I went to United Nissan and I left there since they tried charging me $3000 more than what they told me on the phone and a rate of 12%. I am glad I went next door to Newport Motors. I got a better deal and a rate of 4.99%. Great service and very friendly staff.

    Awful experience!!!! Salesman, Johnny, forcefully wanted us to confirm and talk numbers before seeing the car we wanted. He said he “didn’t want to waste his time.” We wanted to at least look at the car which wasn’t on their lot and claimed it would take more than 30 mins to retrieve, when the car’s location was down the street. We decided to leave after he got snappy attitude with us and as we walked out the door he told his colleague, “this is why I won’t waste my time on poor people.” I wouldn’t not recommend this place and please save yourself your good day and don’t ruin it by coming here.

    I bought my car on Saturday and I absolutely love it!! It was my my first time purchasing from a dealership so I was a bit apprehensive.     This is my second time purchasing with Susan Felix. My first experience was amazing, the car was perfect and the price was a steal. My car was stolen and so I had to buy another one. I admit I did go to another dealership big box named dealerahip... because they advertised a low miles car at a great rate. After sitting there for close to 4 hours and being told they are going to give me a 16% and need $2,000 down I was so frustrated !! Needless to say, I did not drive pink with that offer. From the dealership I text Susan and she said come on in. The next day I came in and once again, she was cognisant of my time. We worked quickly to find my perfect car which was not a car that I would originally thought I wanted. I went in thinking I was wanting a mom car and walked out with a Mustang with low miles a beautiful drive and feeling really good. The best part? It was all done in 45 minutes, no haggling, once again gave me the best price from the start, and my interest was 7% with almost nothing down!! I am so happy with my car, the deal I got, my experience, and my salesmen. Go here and ask for Susan. She is incredible. You wont regret it!

    We went in expecting to purchase a smaller family vehicle. We didn't even want to consider a newer vehicle thinking it was out of our price range. Alejandra took the time to give me and my husband different options and was never pushy. We ended up getting our dream truck that I LOVE and can afford. . We purchased the vehicle the same day! Thank you all for making our experience fair, pleasant and not the least bit intimidating! Unfortunately so many car dealerships direct their attention to men.     The car buying experience at Newport Motors was the best I have ever had. I cannot say enough about the family atmosphere that they immediately provided when I drove on the lot. They were excellent listeners which is unheard of on the rest of the car dealerships in town. They were able to quickly identify my needs and put me in the perfect vehicle. The truly best part of the experience was working out the financing. I was amazed at how much they made me feel at ease and really worked with a guy a like me who was trying to get his credit back together after a divorce.     I want to let everyone know who reads this that I truly recommend this dealership. I had never heard of this place, until I casually drove past it. There was a couple of cars that caught my attention so I decided to stop and look. A young gentleman that I believe was named Jonathan approached me and begin telling me about the cars and was really polite and respectful. It felt like I was at home. He was able to get me a fantastic deal. If anyone is looking for a speedy process and want to drive out with a car the same day then this is the place for you.

    So If you have a 600 or more credit score and a person of color go to you own credit union and don't take there offer. Even if you can afford it. Do as I did and get a second opinion and save your self 65k in interest for a 45k viechle. Read below. Here’s how the unfair pricing and add-ons occur: After a consumer settles on a price of a vehicle, he or she is then told to see the finance and insurance (F&I) representative to review terms and sign the purchase. What few consumers know, is that many dealers pay its F&I personnel on a commission basis. Hence, the more costs added to the vehicle purchase, the more these employees earn. Other dealers, according to NCLC, pay a higher percentage commission as the F&I profits increase per vehicle sold. Sometimes car sales representatives receive a commission on the cars sold and additionally, a portion of the add-ons, sometimes known as “back-end” products. If consumers accept all the options offered by F&I, the likelihood is that they will eventually pay far more than the vehicle is actually worth. Not only that, the amount of mark-up that boosts the dealership’s profits would be far cheaper and affordable if the consumer secured them independently. To make these products and services appear affordable, the length of the auto loan is often extended to 72 or 84 months—or even longer. The longer the auto loan, the more likely that the consumer is getting a bad deal. NCLC also cites previous research by the Center for Responsible Lending (CRL) that determined car buyers who financed vehicles at the dealership in 2009 paid $25.8 billion in interest rate mark-ups. That same study also found that more than half of Black car purchasers (54 percent) were also charged loan kickbacks, compared to only 31 percent of Whites. In 2014, a CRL consumer survey also found that Black and Latino car buyers purchased more add-on products than other consumers after being told that the additional items were required to finalize the deal. As a result, although consumers of color reported trying more than other consumers to negotiate a fair car deal, they still wound up paying more for their purchases than similarly-situated White consumers.

    Richard our prices are displayed on the internet and its plus tax and doc. Newport Motors prides itself on transparency. To be specific with your deal the bank dictated the interest rate based on your credit score You informed my salesperson you did not like the rate and wished to use your bank , we have no issue with any customer providing there own funds. The dealer does not determine your rate although the bank will provide a mark up if warranted. Guess what the bank did a buy/ sell with your situation due to your credit . There was no mark up in your rate and no backend products. I do understand your confusion because you were financing negative equity from your trade in which may have not be explained to you properly Thanks Newport Motors

    Excellent dealership put me in a vehicle the same day. I checked out all the fluids and everything under the hood was topped off and in good shape. And the put me in a nice affordable vehicle when I was in a bind. Ignore anyone posting negative comments under the reviews. I will be purchasing all my other cars from them in the near future.

    I was dropped off from an Uber needing a car same day and they made it happen! From the test drive to the financing to all the paperwork I have no complaints. Johnny and Jennifer were the best and a great help in my time of need! It may not be the closest dealership for me, but this is my second time buying a car here and I will be back if and when another car is needed.

    This review isn't about the sales department, they did a fantastic job. This review is for the service department. Horrible experience. Zero communication from them, they never returned my calls because they never called me and gave me a status on the car or anything. I had to go down there physically, and hunt down someone to answer my questions only to get shrugs and "I don't know" being told to my face. I dropped off my car a week prior and a week later nothing was done, they never called the warranty company and they never checked on anything or execute any game plan. They literally waited till the final hour to tell me nothing has been completed and that the warranty doesn't cover repairs...only to tell me that they would repair it out of pocket and will be ready "next week" mind you I am using a rental this entire duration. This department desperately needs a makeover on customer service, communication and keeping their word and not using excuses to prolong services. Horrible.

    Please please please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Unless ur actually in the middle of a deal u will get zero service. They claim they cancelled my gap and per the gap Company they have not received a cancellation. Spoke to Mike the “manager” and he was supposed to send me my proof of cancellation and nothing. Everytime I call them back I get routes to someone else. I was transferred to an auto shop at one point. This is my policy. They don’t get to dictate what I do with it.

    I came here in hopes of finding a car, but was so turned off by the service and lack of knowledge. The sales representative pretty much just referred me to go online to see prices, mileage, car fax, etc. She actually said there are no prices listed on the cars in the show area and the bosses do this but she doesn’t know why.,.not to mention was chewing chips or something and I could barely understand her.     Been searching for a car for a long time. Finally got my car. The place is very clean and well taken care of. The workshop they have were wonderful to call. I had an issue and they got me to come in and get it fixed at no charge. This place is pretty good. Just always search for the car you want and you'll eventually get it. Just be patient guys.

    This place is awesome! By time I could make it over to Newport motors it was 830 at night. I just went with intentions of only looking at a truck I had seen online, since it was so late. Alex met me in the parking lot and was totally wonderful right from the beginning. She opened up the truck for me to check out and even knew all the specs about it. We went inside to talk and told them I would come back in the morning to do paperwork since they were closing. She said it was ok to do it then and they had most of the financing done quickly. They worked with me on payments and down. She said I could pick up the truck the next morning, and it was ready as promised. They even we're able to get me lower interest and a cheaper monthly payment than what I originally signed for. I love my new beast of a truck and it was probably the easiest, best car buying experience I have had. Thanks Alex for making buying a vehicle fun.

    I bought my car on Monday. I had a prior experience with a dealership so I was a bit apprehensive. Before I came in I spoke with Alyssa and Alejandra on the phone. They both were friendly, informative, and answered all my questions. When I arrived I was kindly greeted by Jonathan. I told him about the car I was interested in. My credit score is below 600 so i wasn't sure if I would be able to maintain my ideal payment budget. He worked with keeping me in the payment range and I'm happy with my purchase.     Went into the dealership on a Thursday night to browse around, and met Alex in Sales. He was new to the dealership but down to earth and understood what my goals were. When we discussed my credit and budget, I quoted a down payment & payment range that I had in mind for a mid-size SUV. He made it clear to me that his goal was to get me into something reasonable -- as opposed to closing the biggest possible deal. While working on credit terms, we test drove a couple of sedans and I fell in love with a Ford Fusion he showed me (for about $12,000 less than I had in mind). He also provided a very helpful referral to GEICO that gave me better rates than other local providers. When I returned to the dealership the next day to sign and drive, Alex met me with a smile and introduced me to Susan in Finance. Both were very down to earth and cognizant of my time. During the signing process, Susan was open and very helpful with all of my questions. On March 18 (as Las Vegas was shutting down for COVID-19) Susan left me an urgent message to come the dealership immediately. Although I was nervous, Susan was incredibly helpful - and let me know that she'd been able to secure a much better interest rate/term for my loan and didn't want me to miss out on it. After we signed the updated financing she was helpful enough to walk me through what I'd need when the bank called to complete my loan underwriting. In a word? AMAZING - and not what you expect when you go to a dealership knowing you have less than perfect credit. I'd recommend Newport Motors to anyone.

    This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I was very interested in buying a car from this dealership, they had exactly the car I wanted. Me and my fiancé applied and got approved, and actually drove off with the car. My happiness soon turned to a nightmare! SUSAN ran our credit over and over and over and over again everyday for 2 weeks straight! Why? I don’t have a clue, they kept messing our paperwork up and we had to go and resign paperwork 3 times!! SUSAN told us she had a cheaper monthly payment for us, but in actuality they wanted more for a down payment, and then accused us of lying! After putting us through so much since day one of financing the car. We both decided to part ways with the dealership and get our money back. We went with another dealership and they were awesome!! Newer car, cheaper payment and wayyy less miles. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP, not even to my worst enemy.

    I was a first time car buyer and was very nervous about going to a dealership to look at car. All I have heard is horror stories where they charge you as much as possible and pressure you. Well Newport Motors on West Sahara is nothing like that. They were kind and helpful and made sure I was absolutely happy with the vehicle.     My wife has new credit and we bought a car there for 4k down. After we bought the car, I had to go there five times in a week fixing a lose parking light, shaking wheels 3 times which can’t be perfectly fixed since they said it was the after market wheels. After all the waste of time, the last time we went there was to return the car because they couldn’t get us financed and needed another 2k for the down payment. We agreed upon it and after I had to be late for work dealing with all these problems, I checked the new deal which needed more money down and higher rates finding out that they were being shady and took out the warranty we bought without telling us so the price would look agreeable so I decided not to get the car after all. They returned our deposit saying that it would be 72 hours but ended up being 5 business days plus 2 days weekend. I ended up buying the same car at Honda West for better rates, better options and condition car and cheaper price!! There are 3 reasons I gave them 2 stars. First is the sales guy Ignacio was great and helpful. Second is they did gave us back all the deposit money. Third is the mechanic manager was very helpful snd tried his best to fix the car.
