ZERO follow through once you get past the first sales guy! He promised a 18 to 20 day close and it took OVER TWO MONTHS before I finally had enough of the constant promises and told them to cancel my application! Worst customer service EVER! RESPONSE TO OWNER: now you're being completely dishonest! We only refused to sign the new loan agreements after MONTHS of being told we were all set and waiting on appraisal. When I pulled my account, ONLY THEN did you tell me about the missing signature. And you're absolutely right, at that time there was no way we'd sign. Your company had been nothing but dishonest up to that point. As for the appraisal - you inferring that I am the expert and told you how to do your job is RIDICULOUS! I told you I had an appraisal that another lender was willing to use, THAT IS ALL! In the end, you did try to fix things and ultimately had nothing that I want. But the process it took just to get to that point is riddled with reasons to keep this review at a one star and if I could do a negative I would. As a company owner I understand the importance of truth and accuracy. I also understand that a bad apple in the company can cause more damage than most know. A response more to that effect and less accusatory of a past customer is the more professional way to go.
Hi Karen, thank you for informing us we fell short on our promises to you. You informed our staff to make changes to your loan, we did. Your husband refused to agree to the loan documents therefore we could not move forward with your loan. We informed you multiple times he needed to sign documents for us to issue the approval on your loan and order the appraisal. As a roofing business owner, yourself. I am sure you would not order materials or have your staff work on a business deal without the clients’ commitments to changes they requested. After I found out we fell short I reached out to find a resolution, but we were not able to find one as you wanted to use an appraisal that is more than 270 days old. Underwriters are very particular, and all guidelines must be followed. Again, sorry we fell short and I will personally make sure all clients are informed properly that they must sign documents quickly so their loan funds under 22 days. -Ozzy President and CEO

Excellent experience! This was by far the best mortgage related experience I've ever gone through. Everyone involved made us feel like we really mattered and kept us updated throughout the entire process. From a loan perspective it was seamless and the fastest I've experienced to date. From the get-go, I found NewMortgage easy to work with. From the Loan Officer, to the Loan Processing Manager, to the Vice President, everyone was on the same page regarding my refinancing situation and goals. My questions were answered even after-hours and on weekends. They understood I was shopping for the best deal, all the way to the end. This is a broker. Stay away. Only deal with banks. No need to pay a 3rd party to do what you can. They are not worth the extra 3-8k they tack on. To add to their statement on how misleading they are. This is not a paid review which they clearly lied about. Two, I called their office today. So, suffice it to say...
Hi Robert- We are actually a direct lender and a broker. We also deal with hedge funds and non-bank lenders not just Banks. I did search our database and do not have you in our system. I did check the history of reviews and it looks like you went and bashed 3 other companies for being a non bank and a direct lender. If you would like to know the facts about our business here is my offer to you. If you find any other broker/lender priced better than us we are willing to pay you. I am a thorough consumer and researched many options for my refinance. Chris Brown was prompt and upfront with his answers to all my questions. When he got a tad aggressive with his follow up, he understood to back off when I asked him to give me time. I was doing things on my schedule during work so I had to minimize my interaction. Having great credit allows you to explore many options and that's what I intended to do. Chris gave me my space and we were able to close a deal we were both happy with. Once we agreed on terms, everything was just as explained and we closed at my residence in a matter of days. The signing took 20 minutes with a notary supplied by the lender! Communication was key as our Refinance w/ Cash out was all digital on line. The only in person contact was with the appraiser and at closing. The experience was seamless. Kyle and Annie stayed with us the entire way. It was quick and easy. Job well done!!

We entertained several offers from lenders but decided to go with NewMortage because they had the best offer not only for the interest rate but also for the the closing costs. Communication channels with NewMortgage were always open and they were very cooperative and patient at all times. Best of all was how speedy the whole process was.
