I have been a card holder since 2008. In the begining I never had any problems. I received my funds as guareented within 2 business days early. It was not until 2018 I noticed I was having problems with my card being blocked and removed and I would call in and they in truth replaced my card however they charged me so I broke down and went back to traditional banking. Fast forward to today. I use both tranditional banking and netspend and for the last 2 weeks I have been given the run around that I would receive a card within 2 business days expedited at no cost to me which now 10 days has not arrived and each of the 3 calls I have made I have been told no card was ever ordered. So today I am recording the complete call. 2 plus hours I have been on this call waiting and hearing lie after lie. LISTEN PEOPLE... It don't matter if you have credit issues, past bounce check issues or whatever reason maybe you just like getting paid 2 days earlier DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! The have names and recordings of false information told to me. They won't put a supervisor on the line. They claim "Let me check with our back office" and leave you on hold for 20 minutes to come back and say "Oh well we can not expedite a card except within 7-10 business days, They don't have a actual local bacnk you can go into. They silences the call and leave you on hold until you get tired and hang up becasue they are told not to say anything because they can't disconnect or they get in trouble so they leave you on hold then transfer you back to the beginning to have to go over the whole cycle again. SO YES I HAVE FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT AND I AM SHARING THIS INFORMATION ALL AROUND TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW. 2 days ahead is not worth the lies and games these foreigners are playing. YOU CAN"T EVEN GET A US REP WHO SPEAKS CLEAR ENGLISH OR EVEN SPANISH..... SAME ON NETSPEND FOR THIS GARBAGE SERVICE.

SMH…If only you could give a company negative stars!!?! Honestly…just don’t do it! I was in a pinch and needed a check cashed. The place I went didn’t have enough cash that day…so they provided me with an ACE FLARE “bank” debit card. The card had a considerable large amount on it and was working fine until I tried to do some online purchasing and somehow got flagged. No biggie…right!? WRONG! 1st… they call themselves a financial institution, but their hours of operation are NOT conducive with that title! 2nd…When I finally was able to get someone on the phone. They were NO help at all and had the nerve to cop an attitude with me. 3rd-I finally was able to get a solution to the problem and provided them with everything(plus some) they requested and low behold they closed for the day. So now I am officially waiting for them to open so that I can get access to MY MONEY. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL CO$T!(no pun intended), because they definitely be acting funny with people money. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 Regretfully, T

This is indeed the worst company that anyone could get as a prepaid credit card they were voluntarily make you homeless and jump through hoops in order to get your money released unless if you just have to close your account entirely and beat out of a direct deposit this is indeed the worst company go with anybody else I strongly and highly suggest that you do

If people read all the details RE Netspends, they would learn that reloads are not free but direct deposits are. They used to load Netspends for free at all the Check N Go locations however all these locations have closed down recently. With direct deposit, you can get paid up to two days faster. You can also set up for your tax returns to be direct deposited to the bank account affiliated with your card. You can also electronically have a check deposited to your card. If you opt to wait the 10 days, you get the full value of your check. However, if you opt to receive the finds within two hours, you will be charged a fee depending on the type of check you are cashing. Pay per use fees are either $ 1 or $ 2 depending on if it is a swipe or a PIN based transaction. You can also withdraw funds for free inside any bank, but be sure to use the teller. You will be asked to present your ID so be sure to have it handy. I have a monthly fee based card and an employee Netspend. It is totally worth it to pay the $ 5.95 for unlimited transactions. You can also opt to open a savings account related to each checking account. I hope this helps. Plus you can also provide the account number located within your Netspend online access to pay your bills with.

Terrible Card! They have a bunch of hidden fees. They charge you for loading money onto your card. They charge you for swiping at fuel pump. They charge you at the ATM for getting your own money off. They also charge you for online transactions. I also recently got my card stolen! The foreign people that operate that particular department said they will fund my card with a professional credit and launched an investigation. Then a few days later the investigation was closed without my knowledge because of their lack of communication. This is obviously the worst credit card company known to man!

I've been with NetSpend over a year or more never cared for their customers reps however I never had a issue with my money. On June 11 2022 I was in car waiting for a order when I look into my email I seen 9 different transaction in a whole different state 1290.00 was stoles in 45 mins how they didn't catch that I'm just not sure. I live in New Jersey the transaction was done in a place called Hancock NY a place I've never been. I made a police report here where I live sent it in to them waited 15 days for them to tell me they seen no error. This came at the wrong time had to stop working because my daughter has seizures every 5-10 mins.. I can't allow for them to take from us like that I am now looking to file a lawsuit. If enough people report they are taking folks money a bigger lawsuit can take action.

Like most I figured ppl just didn't understand the fee structure etc. But no...this company literally steals your money. They refuse to give me access to my money...$356 in fact. They told me since the merchant refunded more than the original amount, ( I paid some cash and some card originally) that I need to submit receipts for review!!!! I had 4 different calls this morning with rude and uneducated women whom play games like putting on hold for 20 to 30 min at a time. Intentionally transferred me when I was almost taken care of and had to start over. And much more ridiculous behavior. Thanks to CUBEACR CALL RECORDING...I WILL BE POSTING THE PHONE CONVERSATIONS ONLINE, CHECK YOUTUBE! HOW IS THIS COMPANY ALLOWED TO CONTINUE STEALING FROM PEOPLE???? I ABSOLUTELY WILL BE TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS BECAUSE I HAVE FANTASTIC PROOF OF THEIR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. SHAME ON ALASKA AND CALIFORNIA!!! WOW, SHAME ON NETSPEND. IM SHOCKED THE GOVERNMENT ACTUALLY IS OK WITH SENDING THIS COMPANY TAX REFUND DIRECT DEPOSITS. WILL NE CALLING THE TREASURY TOO.

Worst prepaid company ever. My daughter ordered her card and set up her direct deposit not know that she had to send in a utility bill to activate this card. So only 19 and still live home with me so I sent the bill with my name on showing the address of her account. They didn't except it and now she has to wait till next pay period. So my suggestion to anyone who don't want problems getting access to there hard earned money should look else where. This is by far the worst bank/prepaid company ever.

You know what??? I reading some of your reviews, I think some of these people are not intelligent enough to use this card because I do all my financial obligations with this card including cashing check and loading. I have in 2 years not had one problem. I give netspend 5+5 stars for there review. Thank you for having pleasant tech team and "easy to use" prepaid card netspend!!!!
