I want to send out a thank you to the staff member at Navy federal. I’m unsure of her name but she was so helpful with me today. I was in line trying to make a deposit and it was a long line but as I finally make it to the front I start to get very lightheaded, dizzy, and about to pass out. I’m currently 5 months pregnant working into my 6 month, so that’s probably what caused it and the lady there was so kind and understanding. She really wanted to make sure I was okay, gave me some water and contact someone to come get me. Thank God my husband was close by. And after that happening the staff member still helped me complete the deposit. I really wanted to share my appreciation and thank you! I truly appreciate it

I frequent this Navy Federal often and there’s always something, but today was my breaking point. After sitting in the drive-through line for over 15 minutes- I got to the front to be told that I could not receive coins, I need to go inside… that’s fine I asked to receive the bills that I requested and was told no (don’t really understand the story behind that but OK). So I inform her that I am on crutches and ask if someone could meet me at the front because I don’t want to be denied- she tells me no so I ask for just the bills and no coins so I can at least have that, she tells me no again. I park my car and I hop to the door and I’m told that I can’t come inside [when she just told me to come inside] I let them know that she just told me from the drive-through that I sat in for 15 minutes to come inside and security says “well I can’t let you inside”. Luckily, Jason addressed my concern and went and confirmed the story with her came back took my needed docs and got what I needed. I’m overall done with this Navy Federal, the customer service is usually trash and overall bad customer service can ruin any business.

Worst Branch. I dropped off classified time sensitive documents and they LOST it. GHETTO, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE. I will gladly drive an extra 30 minutes to Virginia to get the service I deserve. I also didn’t receive any type of initiative to solve the problem just “get another document and try again”.

Drive through teller closed without telling anyone. I entered the line 20 min before close and expected to at least be notified if I couldn't be helped. Vehicle in front of me sat there for 20 min before pulling off. Several vehicles behind me trapped me in. Couldn't pull forward and couldn't back out!

Kenny was the young man who assisted my daughter with opening a new checking/saving account today. He was very friendly professional and thorough in explaining everything to her. Gave us tips on ways to make specific transactions easier too. Had us in and out. We were really LUCKY walking in and being immediately assisted because as it’s known this place is round the clock busy...raining all day :) today though. I can’t vouch for anything else but wanted to give Kenny a shout out for being so awesome!!

Spent over an hour in this branch just to be told I could not receive what I came for. Saw the teller Bri working in express transactions to provide me with a check I came for. I informed Bri the check was issued at 6am this morning and I would like to cancel the check. Bri told me the manager must cancel it, have a seat and I'll call you back up. Sitting and sitting for over an hour to see Bri leaving. Then she says no one called you yet. They put my name at the top of the list although it's close to closing and everyone is almost gone. Seen Michael next to reissue the check only for the manager to come and inform me the check cannot be canceled because it has not been 24 hours. Even had one guy come over and ask Michael if he need any help so he can get on out of there. I told the other guy well I been in here for over an hour what about the customer. The poorest customer service ever received at Navy Federal at this Capital Heights location. Will never come here again.

This location is actually really bad. Waiting takes for ever. Their outside ATMs are ALWAYS either not working not accepting money or doing deposits. When i got to other Navy Federal this doesn’t happen. it’s not like this when i go elsewhere. this location stinks.

I went in for a replacement card and they had me sitting for more than a hour I still didn’t receive any attention even when I asked for help all they did was ignore me

The only unfortunate complaint is the lines are ALWAYS long. However, on some days they moved swiftly but on the norm it’s a wait... So, maybe make the banks larger and hire more teller?!?! Also, at times I’ve not been able to deposit money and I understand banks have a down time when the banks are closed however MY suggestion is; there should be a schedule of when this will occur that is sent to members indicating these times so many of us won’t waste our time traveling to multiple banks and still unable to successfully complete “ANY” transaction. But on a greater note... From Virginia to MD, ALL reps have excellent customer service.

Lines move pretty quickly inside, average drive through time. The staff are always helpful and very professional. The atm machines including drive through seems to be broken a lot. Other than that I love navy federal. They are so much better than your average bank.

I came in to make a deposit this morning 10/24/19 Kyle was the teller I went to unfortunately, because his customer was terrible, he looked mad, he acted as though he had an attitude and he was very rude. He handed me my receipt I kindly said thank you and he just looked at me and ignored me. Some one with a mannerism such as Kyle Should never work in customer service. I work in customer services, I know sometimes people may not be having the best day but he needs to learn how to separate the two. And not take whatever ever he has on his mind out on customers. That’s giving him the benefit of the doubt because that might just be his permanent personality, that’s how well he played the roll of acting like he didn’t want to be at work.
