This is my husband's favorite bank. And I also have an account here. The people are working here were nice. Friendly staffs. On Friday, they open until 6:00 PM which is great. There was no long line, wait time usually short less than five minutes. They also have WiFi here and you could browse internet while waiting to talk to one of employees.

Love Navy Federal Credit Union, but this location strongly needs another ATM next to the existing one or a drive thru one as well. A lot of customers know it’s the only branch on this side of town. So......How about fixing these lines outside.

Came in to get a debit card replacement waited almost 45 mins. Another older individual need the same thing and got his in the snap of a finger!! The tellers aren’t nice and lack customer service skills.

Terrible customer service!! The manager is a paranoid, rude, old woman who requires mask even if fully vaccinated! Also their ATM often has problems and they don't seem to care.

Had you all opened on Saturday like every other bank branch in the state/country you wouldn't have people waiting in triple digit temps to get into your bank. Then to top it off when asked when hours would go back to somewhat normal they don't know. Nothing like having access to a tenth of your money via atm oh I forgot the atm didn't have funds. Time to find a bank that supports its members and the veteran. Pretty sad Navy Federal is a big failure in this time of need. Being closed on Saturday cause me a danm house because I didnt have access to my money!!! Peace out!! Another credit union here. I come

My father was in the military for 33 years and passed away last year. My mother went in on a Friday (last week) to pay off the small lien on my dad’s truck. The department that authorized the release so she can pay the truck off with cash placed a note in their system to release the account so she can do do. When she got there an inexperienced teller and supervisor told her that they could not release it, despite the note on the account and that they had to ”hear the other department say it over the phone”. They also said the department was closed. Asked her to come back Saturday the next day. She went the next day and they told her the department that needed to verbally authorize the release to pay off the truck was closed, they are only open Monday thru Friday, even though on the department recording states that they are open Monday thru Friday and Saturday. They also used the federal reserve as the excuse for not releasing the account. My mother called the department on Monday about this and it said ”no verbal release was necessary - they had already noted it in the system and they did not understand why the branch on Northern avenue in the Phoenix area was doing this. Poor training of personal, hours inconsistent with publicized hours for departments, lack of wanting to help their customers. This is the thanks my father gets after serving our country for 33 years/ a bank that is not customer center towards it's members and their survivors. They treated my mother like a second rate citizen, which was witnessed by myself, the buyer of the truck, and my mother. Telling people that in order to pay off their loan they had to come back Monday thru Friday. This is unacceptable. If there is this much trouble trying to pay a loan off with cash, I cannot imagine the process to obtain a loan, if you buy a car on the weekend. This is unacceptable for a bank. Maybe the government needs to make some inquiries on this bank.

I show up to open a new account for my son. I took over 45 minutes to get help. The upsetting part is that they kept sending others through the tellers to help while I stood there. I watch the teller even issue a card that took over 10 min to issue. I watch the front desk person change 3 times, watch several employees go to lunch while I waited. They even took and appt 8 minutes before their scheduled appointment. Unacceptable service, worst service I ever seen in my 25 years of membership.

Terrible customer service from front desk and associate ‘Dawn’ as I was trying to shush my 10 month old she proceeded to approach me and my baby and said to tell my baby to be quiet because he can’t be yelling in the bank. Mind that he was just trying to get the rest of the customers attention by being playful. The customers behind me said to ignore her that that was a pretty dumb remark to make. She truly lacks of common sense and apprehensiveness.

I went to this particular branch on February 8, 2019 to see if I could have any money out of my account with the paper identification receipt I received from the department of motor vehicles. The issue was, during this particular week I had a flat and I miss placed my wallet while repairing my flight. I did not want to cancel my card because I had a feeling that I had only miss placed my wallet. After several days of looking I went ahead and began to replace my drivers license and bank cards, mind you, I had not had access to money all week and I have 2 children that I provide 100% care for. I was told at the branch that I cannot use the paper identification receipt (that had my picture on it). I was instructed to call and order a new card while I was in a branch, and I did that, however, I explained my situation and asked if they would at least release $20 so that I could have a couple of dollars over the weekend. The customer service rep said he could not do so and he would ask the branch manager. The branch manager said he/she could not do it either. I don’t believe that. My resolve is I will take my direct deposit from Navy Federal to a different credit union who would take a chance on me for $20. Subsequently my cousin found my wallet in her car the very next day bc she helped me find help to change my tire only it was too late I had already begun the process of replacing everything.

We heard a lot of good things about NFCU, and decided to join. We are also members of USAA, and love them! ...The bank teller was courteous, and answered questions that we had. We were not very happy that they had to hold our funds for 10 days, and give us access to only $200 on the fourth day. The teller tried to explain the process since it was a large sum being deposited. She wasn't very knowledgeable, but tried her best to answer. Overall, we have been Member's for over one month, and they are great in alerting us in unusual/suspicious activity on our accounts. No problems thus far.

It would be wonderful if the outside atm every worked at this location. Every time I come to this branch the atm is broken and the line to see a teller is out the door and around the building. I understand times are tough right now but this is still unacceptable.
