After speaking to a customer service agent by phone I was told I could add my 12 YEAR old son to my account in order for him to have access to a checking I was managing for him. I visited a branch to complete this process and told the welcome person my goal, she asked his age, and told me someone would be with me but that I should instead open him his own MINOR ACCOUNT. Either option was fine with me. After waiting 30 mins the banker told me I couldn’t do anything to add him to my account because of his age and that he couldn’t open a minor account until he was 14… THERE WERE 2 OTHER OPPORTUNITIES where this could have been mentioned to avoid me from wasting my time by phone or sitting in a branch with children. I am beyond disappointed in the MANAGERS handling of this and in the support provided by phone. This bank is supposed to be a bank for military members AND their families! The consideration for my time was non existent and the consistent misinformation is extremely unacceptable!

Extremely dissatisfied with the operation at Navy Federal. They lowered their interest rates and when I called to get my interest rate scaled accordingly I was told that It was not possible. Despite my loan only being a month old.

I love Navy Federal but I don't like the location, lots of traffic, no easy in and out, no drive thru ATM option. Just inconvenient for quick stops.

All Navy federal credit unions are professional and sufficient.

The Navy Federal Credit Union is absolutely the best place to have as your financial institution. The extremely knowledgeable and professional people who work here treat everyone like a valued customer. I would think of banking anywhere else and have recommended many coworkers and family members. Thanks to all for making each one of my visits extremely pleasant.

This has to be one of the better locations that I have been to. Yes the parking is busy, yes it has a wait, but you would come to expect that since the other locations are not as good as this one. Also the parking is terrible because there are great restaurants around this location. The wait in line even if it is a long line is max 15 minutes, the staff at this location want to assist you as quickly and professionally as possible. Keep up the awesome work, this is definitely our home location and love it!!!

Have been with NFCU for YEARS and because of an improperly trained employee filling out a form about our car incorrectly, not only did we have to redo the form a week later, but we were not approved for our car loan for no other reason than the form that was done wrong. Nobody was apologetic nor went out of their way to fix THEIR mistake and we ended up going somewhere else for our car loan.

The employee behind the front desk was the most helpful person when I needed my card replaced. She was understanding of my situation and super fast to fix it.

They have done more than most (banks) would and more for me and my family
