It's a nice credit union for military and their families. They have their own internal credit score, that can favor you if you keep it right.

Love this branch. I'm missing one lady who has been promoted.( the old workers know whom I referring). Very nice and personable staff.

They are the worst banking business around and killeen is the same, they do nothing to change that fact . the cove manager is also the worst, we will never go back to cove branch and killeen about the same, looking for another banking service. They get so many bad reviews they don't even try .

I wish the workers had more training on how to be polite. When you first walk in someone always says hello but unfortunately that is the only time they are polite. I will drive to any other navy federal than coming here.

Very professional and friendly staff, the branch manager is always friendly as well and often out front greeting and helping people. Large bank, with small town vibe.

The Hispanic woman sitting behind a desk on the right side when u walk in( past the counter) really needs a refresher training course. So does her boss. I walked in yesterday (Saturday April 9, 2022) just to deposit two checks at the NFCU in Copperas Cove. One check was for an extremely small amount, the other a more substantial amount. Both of my bank accounts are still under my maiden and previous married name...so my first name, maiden name, n then my ex-spouse's last name. I recently renewed my driver's license through the automated system but in order to change back to just my maiden name I would have to do this in person. I told the Hispanic woman all of this when she said she could not deposit the checks into my account. I provided her with my driver's license that has my maiden name (which the check was made payable to) a second type of ID which was my social security card that I had already changed back to my maiden name (again, it matches the name the check was made payable to). Yet, she still refused to help and so I asked to speak to the person in charge. Another woman much more slender with brown (shoulder length) hair came over and also stated she could not deposit the checks because my driver's license (which reads EXACTLY the same way as my NFCU bank accounts) had to have my maiden name only instead of my maiden and previous married name. I told her so let me get this straight, " I always deposit every check using the ATM outside (as a result of my work schedule) and there is NEVER an issue regardless of what last name(s) appear on my checks, but I walk in here and y'all are going out of y'alls way to not help me. I asked for my checks, driver's license, and social security card back, and asked the woman im charge who her boss was and for her to give me his contact information. She just gave me a business card with a customer service number and told me he had no direct phone number where he could be reached but said his name was Glen. I got in my vehicle and called the NFCU customer service number that I have under my contacts explained what had just happened and the representative I spoke with was very polite and resourceful. He called the NFCU in Harker Heights and let them know about the chaos I had been put through, and got back on the line with me and reassured me (after apologizing a couple of times)that I would be able to make those deposits today at the NFCU in Harker Heights. Even though I had to drive 40 minutes away from where I live when the NFCU branch closest to my home refused to help, I was very satisfied with the EXCELLENT customer service that CJ, the young man at NFCU that was the teller who assisted me. A lady named Miranda (CJ's boss) also was extremely courteous and helpful. Bottom line is: there will always be employees that go out of their way to NOT help a customer out, and then those that stand out because they do...and they do it with a smile! Stay away feom the NFCU in Copperas Cove, the two women I dealt with yesterday clearly are unhappy with their jobs. Therefore, they see customers ( whom by the way PAY their salaries)as nuisance instead of the very reason they still receive a paycheck.

Considering changing banks after today. I work as a server and the majority of the money I make is cash. Today I came with $800 in cash and a check for $200. Waited at the door and was told that I can’t come inside for a deposit and have to use the atm. Oh but get this. The atm was down. I asked her when it’d be up and she said she didn’t know. I waited and eventually it did come up. I was first in line with 5 other people. I became very uncomfortable depositing $1000 at an atm with people right behind me and each transaction has a 30 bill limit. It would’ve taken probably 20 minutes since I had so many bills. This made me anxious as I didn’t want to hold up the line. I’ve had prior bad experiences with Navy Fed such as someone taking out a loan in my name. I am considering banking elsewhere.

So far I have opened up two savings, a personal ,and two business accounts. Customer service is top notch for this area. Fees and prices seem reasonable. Time will tell.
