Took in some airpods pro to sell. She looked at them for 2 seconds said they were fake. I bought them new at best buy and Apple looked at them at them a week or so ago to get the firmware updated since I dont have any other apple products. Told her apple sais they were dine and got them updated. She then shouted at me APPLE DIDNT SAY THEY WERE REAL!! I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to or her calling me a liar. Also wasn't aware she with me that day I was in the Apple store since she was making claims of what they said to me. I get it that they get some shady folks in there but not everyone is out to get you. You can't go around calling people liars especially in the south. They always have an attitude when I go in there. Won't return.

Brought in a 3 month old $1,400 Louis Vuitton bag. The woman at the counter almost immediately told me my bag was fake but said they’d still accept it for a very very low offer… Not sure why they’d accept an item if she believed it was counterfeit. Her reasoning was that it “just looked fake” and didn’t have a serial number. Newer Louis Vuitton bags no longer have serial number, they have imbedded chips for authentication. I repeatedly asked her to have it authenticated in-store but she refused. I took my bag to another national pawn where it was authenticated and I got a fair price. Seemed like a scam

I have been coming here for a while some might say weekly, or monthly but regardless I sell them alot of my jewelry & i always enjoy coming in because I thought I was getting the best price only because they gave me over my asking price a few times before BUT the last 2 times for some reason (AFTER i left them an amazing review bc if them asking me to write a review every-time i came in) but for some reason they low balled me & i knew what I was selling both times was well worth more than they were offering me. so i decided to take them & see what another pawn shop down the street would offer because i knew they would AT LEAST give me what national pawn was offering me & they offered me over 50$ more than they offered me at national pawn the first time & then the second time i took it the other pawn shop offered me 70$ more than national pawn was offering so that left a sour taste in my mouth

Tom, Alex, and Juan were incredibly helpful and kind. I bought a TV, but I made sure to hang back and listened to how the staff treated all the clientele. It's amazing what respect and a sense of neighborhood can do to make a good business great. Some places that do this sort of business aren't kind to everyone. This place is. They have a lot of staff who speak Spanish. The gentlemen all offered to help me take my TV back to my car. The TV can be returned for three days, which given the price, is unlikely. I wasn't bothered while I was looking at TVs (granted, it was *super* busy and I'm a middle aged white woman) and checking reviews and prices online. If I needed to get another TV, I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

I paid a visit to purchase a TV. Due to Lavern’s great customer service, I was in and out within 10 minutes! She helped me compare prices and features on TVs and had me sold on a 50 in Smart TV instantly. The fact that I had two TVs break while relocating homes, I felt so much better purchasing a larger used TV for almost half of what I paid for a brand new 43in. Thank you again, Lavern! The Garner location National Pawn is by far not just the best location of the franchise but also the best pawn shop that I have ever done business with. The facility is nice and clean and kept up well and all the employees are amazing and very kind and make sure that you are educated about everything in the store and also make sure you never just walk aimlessly without help especially Josselyn she is perhaps the best employee of them all.

First visit & won't be back. Unfortunately I didn't experience the 5 star experience everyone else did nor any type of negotiation. I went in to purchase some jewelry which the selection isn't all that great. However, there was a really nice anklet I was interested in but the clasp was broken. Marcia was friendly but still she only offered $30 off and wouldn't drop the price any lower. After calling around to several repair shops, the prices were the same ranging from $35 to $45 so I would've still ended up paying $5 to $15 more than the original price.

Going through one of the hardest times with my children && I had no other choice but to start pawning stuff In order not to be evicted! At first with the items I brung in my total for a loan came up to half of what i needed, the manger walked up to ask what was the total I needed & I explained my situation and before I knew it she reevaluated my items and gave me the total I needed to finish out the amount to pay my rent in full ! The manger over at the garner location is definitely an angel &&& saved me and my family from bring homeless today !!!! They won’t buy phones so don’t waste your time bringing your iPhone in. Then they wasted 20 minutes of my time verifying that what I had was real gold just to tell me that they weren’t interested in buying it after all. Then proceeded to offer me $5.00 for the remaining 5 pieces of jewelry I had to sell which was all sterling silver. What a rip. I left with everything I came in with. Don’t bother selling here.

Outstanding experience! They held a Blu-Ray player for me till it was available for purchase. Lavern Thompson was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. Worked with me looking at several Blu-ray units to make certain the units were in working condition.

Excellent service, does their best to work with customers to get what they need. Especially if you are a repeat customer and continue to make payments and pick up item. If you build a report with them, they will work with you as best they can.

Do not take anything there to pawn or sale Unless you like being taking advantage of i took 8 power tool up there with over $500 in used value And they offer me below $100 It's crazy because a month ago they were going to give me $150 for just one of those items! I understand it's a business and they gotta make a profit but to give me $35 for one Item And then resale it for $250 isn't right Not sure what happened because they used to be reasonable on prices

I went to National Pawn in a time of need due to the pandemic. I got a loan on my wife’s jewelry, as I have many times before. I’m going into forfeit this month because we are still struggling. I called and asked for my minimum payment to stop forfeiture. I was told 2 payments was minimum like it was mandatory. When I questioned was it mandatory…. It wasn’t, but they were pressuring me to make 2 like it was. Never be afraid to ask questions at this place, because the whole conversation was shady until I asked why? I’m making it my business once I’m finished with them to never come back. All 6 rings were purchased there as well. Can’t wait to be done with them.. and they also sold me a virtual reality headset that I waited 3 months to give my son and it didn’t work…. never complained due to amount of time. I’m done with them. Good luck to whoever wishes to shop here or do business here.

I have always had a great experience shopping here. It is my oldest son's favorite go to place for musical equipment. My most recent visit, I was in a rush because we were on our way to the airport. We were told my son needed his guitar in a bag. The only bag my son's electric guitar would fit in, wasn't for sale by itself but Bill heard our situation and helped us out. Went to sell some stuff I didn’t want. Typically get great service, but on this occasion, I wasn’t too impressed with the offer so brought my stuff back to the car, my wife was putting our new born in his car seat when the manager came out telling me “you can’t sell things in our parking lot” I approached him and asked what he was talking about, he said “it’s against North Carolina law to sell things in the parking lot” I asked why he was saying this to me, he said “your not selling stuff to her?, referring to my wife next to our car with the back door open”. I said “no, that’s my wife”. The manager assumed because my wife and I are not of the same race that I was selling things to her from the back of my car. She was actually just putting our new born in his car seat. He did apologize for the misunderstanding and walked away. However making that assumption and yelling at us fro macros the parking lot was pretty sad to have to deal with. Won’t be going back there again.

The staff is always nice attentive I do not like the parking it’s hard to get in and out of where the store is put. Bad traffic getting out. The store is okay the layout could be better. Staff is professional. I’ve came for a loan twice I feel like they cut me short but I understand they have to make a profit as well and they are better than other local pawn stores. Merchandise is good for the most part and the prices.
