Melinda hooked me up with a deal on THE guitar amp I've been trying to talk myself out of buying new for some time now. I normally avoid Pawn shops altogether on principle, but they had the best price I could find anywhere, online included, and then took $20 off it. Held it for me til I could get there. Was friendly and helpful. Smooth transaction that didn't leave me with the usual grimy pawn shop feeling. Despite my usual policy of not buying from pawn shops, she gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I had to do it. Would recommend. On a side note, they had a Spanish speaking salesman there who was working with a customer who didn't speak English. I thought that was a really nice touch. Must be difficult to get by in a place where you don't speak the language. Shows a desire to provide good customer service which is usually not even a thing in a pawn shop.

I had a great experience. The prices you can’t beat and they offer layaway! They sell quality reused, even new products for discounted prices. Araceli was so generous with helping me. I brought a used vacuum that wasn’t properly cleaned and she took the time to take it apart and clean it right there. Much appreciated! My new spot.

Awesome experience buying an acoustic guitar here! The employees were very helpful in asking if I needed anything and they encouraged me to play all of the guitars to find the right one. Araceli Maldonado was very attentive and kind in helping me buy the guitar once I had chosen the one I wanted. Surprisingly good guitar selection for beginners/casual players!

National Pawn does not lend money responsibly. They give a low ball price on your expensive jewelry and expect it to be paid off in thirty days plus interest and other fees. Your payments do not go to principle They just renew your thirty day contract expecting you to pay again interest and fees and keeping your expensive jewelry! They expect you to relinquish your expensive jewelry as it is impossible to keep paying fees and interest for them not to sell your jewelry! They are cut throat and unethical! In two years I have paid them more than the principle loan amount but they will not release the jewelry to me. They are in business for themselves only. National Pawn is greedy. Do not get a loan here.

Diego helped me and my boyfriend, we bought a Nikon camera fully functioning with lenses for only 200 dollars. The camera would normally be 700, and 200 for the lenses alone. He also tried to sell us a 17,000 dollar ring saying I deserved it! A good business man, and very kind. Definitely recommend.

I'm in town from Texas. I wanted to check out the pawnshops here in Wilmington,NC on my visit. My brother took me to this pawnshop, thinking we were going to find a nice ring, because I messed up mines helping my brother move. Went in was greeted by (2) wonderful ladies. especially , Ms.Araceli. The sweetest person, tried to do a descent deal about a ring I seen and my ring. And she had to talk with a gentleman named JEREMY. I believe the manager. He was very rude, dismissive and disrespectful to us..We are of color...and disrespectful and loud to the employee Ms. Araceli. We were shocked, because there was no reason for his bad behavior. If you do not like working with descent BLACK FOLKS, or any other people of color(s). This is not the job for you, Mr. Jeremy? You cost a sale for one of your employee(s). He was a super jerk!

I visit this location at least once a month and always find something to purchase. I've been going there for many years, never had a bad experience, and the salespeople are always friendly and helpful. There's a reason I frequent this store compared to other pawn shops in town.
