When it was Point Loma Credit Union, branch in San Marcos that closed. It published bonus offer in Sunday Union-Tribune. Came in that week trying to open account for the bonus. Manager doubted me that there was such a thing, claimed nobody had told her about it and not to have seen it in the newspaper. Had to bring in saved copy from my paper AND wait for an hour while head office verified it with her on the phone to get a few measly bucks. Closed account out as soon as earned the $. Then it closed never to return to San Marcos. To this day offers essentially zero rates to depositors while inflation rages.

I was in a difficult situation as the Trustee on my mothers trust. Kori the branch manager, and Jennifer the financial services officer went above and beyond to make my banking needs fluid and seamless. And most of all stress free. Thank you girls for your amazing customer service!

Jamar (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was very helpful and kind! The whole staff at my point credit union are a very welcoming bunch and I look forward to their service in the future!

BEWARE: THIS CREDIT UNION IN UNSECURE AND THEY THEMSELVES WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!  I'M A 30 year customer, soon to be ex-customer Earlier this year they stopped my access to my money without notice. When I called to find out what was happening they told me my card was compromised. I asked them if they could rush me a new card and I was told that I have to go to the branch. Unfortunately I live in Wildomar so the closest location is 45 miles away.  But I wanted to be able to access my money so I made a trip and got a new card. Once I had the card I was told to try it out in their ATM just outside the branch. I did so and it worked fine. I went all the way home and the very next day the new card didn't work. Once again they stopped my card, this time because their own ATM machine had been compromised. So I had to make a second trip to get yet another card. Most retailers check their payment devices daily for skimming devices that steal information. Here is a credit union thats supposed to keep your money safe and they don't check theirs. I moved the bulk of my money out of that place to a secure credit union Altura. Now recently, because I moved 99% of my money out only using My Point for my online stuff.  I forgot about one bill and it was covered by my overdraft for a fee of $35.00. Which I take full responsibility for.  However when I went to print 13 postage labels at $3.19 a piece they decided to charge me $35.00 fee for each one. Thats right a $35.00 fee to cover $3.19. Needless to say the fees added up to over $420.00. After complaining the acted like they did me a favor giving me a little over half back. FLAT OUT THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DON"T KEEP IT SECURE. Point Loma Credit was an awesome institution for many years. But it has become very corrupt as My Point Credit Union.

Wow how nice this credit Union is. We moved to SoCA in 2019 but still have our bank (credit union) in LA. They gave me this location to deposit a check 1000+ miles away and the gentleman who helped me was so so nice. It was quick , efficient, and accurate. I checked my Louisiana bank online in the car and my deposit showed instantly. The check was too big to do mobile banking and I did not want to mail an endorsed check. So so pleased. Thank you MyPoint CU!!

My teller Jamar was very friendly, efficient, and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. He is an asset to your branch. I hope I get him each time I come in. Thank you, Jamar! It was a very positive experience!

Went to the Carlsbad location for a shared branching transaction and had a great experience. Kori was helpful and patient while waiting for me to get my limit raised with my CU in CO. Would recommend if staying in CA.
