I had a terrible experience with Murray Auto Sales. I negotiated with them online (I have this negotiation in writing) prior to the sale and they said that they would give me a 4 month 4,000 mile warranty along with the purchase of the vehicle. When I went to purchase the vehicle I had a lot of paperwork from my credit union to sign and by the time I was done with that it was almost closing time, so I quickly signed the paperwork for the vehicle. I realized after I left that they had not given me the warranty and when I called back they refused to give it to me. Also, now it is more than 2 months later and they still have not sent the title for the vehicle to the credit union. I live in NM and the title is required to register the vehicle, so I have not been able to register my vehicle. By law they are only allowed 45 days to send the title, so I will now be reporting them to the motor vehicle enforcement division.
Hello Kevin, my name is Chris and I am the sales manager and we agreed on a 4 month warranty and for us to buy and install a roof rack at the original online selling price therefore you offered us a non-refundable ($500) deposit over the phone to not sell the vehicle and AFTER you gave us that deposit you tried to negotiate the price because you were trying to get a lower interest rate with your bank at a lower loan to value. We tried working with you, we asked you to drive the vehicle first for you to make sure you like it, then after we could talk. Once you drove the car you talked to your wife over the phone you gave us a NEW offer (not online) AS IS (no roof rack) and we even helped you to get you a great price on a roof rack somewhere else. That new offer you gave us had a lower price ($800 less) and again it was AS IS, no roof rack, no warranty and when you signed papers with Mary Lopez (finance manager) she told you it was AS IS (we have that document). Even after you signed and got it funded by your bank I offered you to cancel the deal and get your money back and you refused. As far as the title it is up to the bank to file a complain and just so you know we have a good 15 years relationship with Mountain America but Kevin you need to go to the DMV and register your vehicle as we sent the title LOOOOOONG time ago (we also have proof of that). If you have questions call and talk to our title clerk at 801-265-8888, I would call you and explain that to you but last time you and I talked you hanged up the phone on me.

This place is an awesome place to buy a vehicle, as a vehicle tech I'm very picky about used vehicles and spent the weekend driving around SLC looking for the perfect car. I found it here, they had no issues bringing another tech out to talk shop about the car and go over any concerns they offered a great warranty Option and never once pressured me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I was able to test drive for as long as I felt comfortable and even worked with me to customize our experience. Me and my wife will check here first for our next purchase in the future. There is no profesionalism at this place at all. There is only one sales person so it took very long for someone to contact me. I was also offered a free oil change after spinning the wheel that never happened, I've had the car for only 2 months and already going through car problems š¤¦š»āāļø I reached out to their mechanic and had me go to the shop 3 times just to waste my time because no one had any idea why I was there and expected me to leave my car there all day until they told me what could be wrong. I'd rather pay somewhere else then waste my time at this place ever again!

The staff was all extremely friendly. Frank and the manager went above and beyond getting me into the best car in my price range (it ended up actually lower then I expected). I have had more than 2 dozen cars throughout my life. This was BY FAR the best car buying experience. I will be a customer for life now. My husband and I have been looking tirelessly to buy a truck. Stopped by here and was greeted by Ethan one of the salesmen. Told him what we were looking for. He was very accommodating to our needs. There was no pressure. After a few minutes Ethan found us the perfect truck that would fit our budget. There was no hassling on the price. We left with a Dodge Ram 1500 in perfect condition. The most corrupt low lives in the history of civilization. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT ever ever ever go here. If the choice is between riding your bike or walking, or going here, walk or ride your bike. You will thank me later. They are the biggest rip off shyster dealership. When you think of the scum, scam, artist used car dealership, they set the bar even lower. If you ever have to deal with John, run the other way. Heās the typical used car salesman, the type thatāll promise you all sorts of false things, and lie straight to your face. They tried to scam me out of $200, it took almost 7 months for them to finally refund me, then they forced me into getting the warranty on my car. When the throw out bearing went out, I took the car up there for them to repair, only to be told āthe warranty doesnāt cover thatā. How does the warranty not cover that, when I was told it covered everything with the engine? (Not that I would even trust them to work on the car) Long story short, if you want to be treated like dirt, scammed, and lied to, this is the perfect dealership for you. If not, I would highly recommend taking your business to a reputable dealer, and get a good car you can depend on.

I'm just starting to look at cars. I connected with one of the sales guys, Brad, and he's been great. I don't have a ton of time to spend hours at a lot. I told Brad what I needed and what my budget is and he's been texting me some great options. I've been super impressed with the friendly, no pressure sales approach. He seems to sincerely want me to get the car that is just right for me and my family. I don't think I've ever experienced this level of customer care from any other places I've bought cars before.

Finding a new car can be hard and itās a very stressful process, especially when you canāt find āthe oneā. I had had a few bad experiences with different dealers and it really became frustrating. A friend told me to go to Murray auto sales to look around and I worked with a great salesman, AJ who was able to work with my price range and my list of things I wanted in my next car. He wasnāt pushy or persistent, he really listened and helped me find the perfect car that Iām actually super happy with. It became the car buying experience I was looking for.

Best customer service I have received at a car dealership hands down ever!!. Bassam, Danny, AJ and the whole team really took care of me and we're upfront and honest about everything throughout the whole process. They worked with me for a great deal of time over the course of a week to get me into the car that I wanted at the deal/monthly payments that I wanted and we're awesome the whole time about it. We got a great car at an incredible deal by going here. They gave me a loaner car while I dropped my car off to be inspected then let me keep it while we were working numbers out and didn't charge me anything for the week I had it. Me, my family and friends will be buying all of our cars from here.

I have never felt so RAPED by a business in my life. After being assured (by two different salesmen several times) that the car had been checked out and cleared, we bought the car. We took it to get the alignment done and asked the mechanic to check it out, we found that someone stupid had poured oil all over the breaks/cables. No worries - a $4000 fix. He said it was recent (aka probably done by their mechanic) and the cables were corroded and he was surprised we had even made it that far without getting into an accident. GET CHECKED OUT BY A MECHANIC FIRST IF YOU HAVE TO BUY FROM THESE GUYS. So we go back because they obviously lied - not just didn't mention it - but lied. They told us they would tow us out of their parking lot because us parking there wasn't their responsibility anymore. They slipped in an insurance package ($400) in our contract that we didn't approve. They denied saying things that they actually said when we were both witness to it. I have never had worse customer service in my life. The boss is a money grubbing jerk. The salesmen made the stereotype for sleazeball salesmen. DON'T DO IT GUYS, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I went here a month ago and worked with a salesman named AJ. He was very honest and helpful with the whole process. I didnāt feel like he was pressuring me or anything like that. Andy sold me the truck, I did cash purchase "as Is", which was fine, I have put over 1300.00 into the truck. Here is where my problems start, It has been well over 1 month and I have no title as of yet, it has been mailed 5 times, I asked for a tracking # never received one. John must be the most incompetent person in the office, all I hear is , that was my fault, it was mailed today, I'll send you the tracking number. I smell a court case coming up, I have not been able to use my truck due to being able to register it, this place has been nothing but horrible in how they handle things, very unprofessional, very incompetent and they don't care about anything but getting a vehicle off the lot!!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE

**I originally posted this review on 7/11/2017** I really really wish I would have listened to the other reviews. Please stay away from this car lot. My husband and I knew what kind of car we wanted and we were in luck because this dealership happened to have the "best" one in the valley. We traded in our nice 2012 Tucson for a roomy Nissan Quest on 6/26/2017 and was assured everything mechanically was fine. A week later the check engine light came on and it read for an O2 sensor. So we took it back and the manager/owner proceeded to tell us it was our fault but the mechanic in the shop agreed to do the work and would not charge for labor. Great. However when he read the diagnostic it said it was a different sensor, so he replaced it. Anyways a few hours after the repair, the check engine light came on and AutoZone read it again as the 02 sensor. So after calling around and trying to get the best price we took it into a Nissan Dealership. They replaced the bad 02 sensor but now it is registering an even greater fix around $2000. The manger/owner refuses to pay for the part or meet us half way and continues to claim that it is our fault but the Nissan dealership says it has been bad for sometime. I'm not sure how you can sleep well at night sir, knowing you robbed my family. I have a feeling a majority of the good reviews are by the people who work for this dealership or are related to the people who work for the dealership. If you're in the market for a used car, stay far away from this lot. **7/12/17** So we brought the car back in today to be fixed and several hours after my husband dropped our van off to be worked on, the mechanic called because the manager up front saw my review and was upset and told him to not work on our car, which was already in the shop being worked on. I think that it is super disgusting and low down dirty to censor someones honest review. So I took my review down and the manager said if it was down, they could continue working on our van. **7/13/17** So around 5 pm our car was finally ready but as my husband left the dealership the check engine light came back on. While my husband took it back to the dealership he ended up bringing the car home and we are taking it to Nissan in the morning. We are not dealing with this company any longer. **7/14/17** Nissan fixed the problem and also let us know the part that Murray Auto just put in was missing a bolt and without it, it would cause an exhaust leak. So far no check engine light. I am so glad we took it to the Nissan Dealership again..where their parts/services ARE warrantied for a year. All in all while our experience started off great, it ended quickly and in flames. Do not shop here. Save yourself the stress and the headache and go to a more reputable place. Now that we have gotten our van back I am putting my review back up because I think it's ridiculous I had to take it down to begin with. **8/09/17** Today we were hit with another really hard blow. After closer inspection, this car is going to cost another $4k to fix it and it's just money we don't have. I really, really would like to know how you sleep at night. Would you really be ok with selling this car to a loved one? Maybe giving your children ready to drive a car like this? If you are still reading this review, please go elsewhere. We've already spent an extra $2k that we weren't anticipating and now there is another $4k to be done and there is no guarantee that the major repairs stop there. Take this as a warning and shop at a more reputable place.

I contacted Murray Auto Sales. The salesman was Brad. He was so great to work with. I gave him exactly what I was looking for in a car. Price, year, extras, etc. He searched their entire inventory for me. I was not able to go to the lot so he did all of this via text messaging. There was no pressure to buy anything and he made me feel like it was just as important to him to get me into the car that I was looking for. Thanks for the great experience, Brad!

I am very disappointed and frustrated of my experience here, it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I bought a 2016 Jeep Sport Utility vehicle and I didnāt even drove the car for a week and I was already experiencing issues with the car, specifically the transmission heating up & the AC not working. We went back to complain and they stated that there was a problem obviously & they would charge us the $300 to get it fixed & fix the ACā¦they kept delaying it and stated it was going to be fixed next week, then another week goes by and I didnāt have the car for a month. After they fixed the engine issue. Tony let us know they could not fix the AC and he referred us to Jeep dealership, Iām sure they knew that from the beginning they couldnāt deal with that kind of issue and Iād rather have them be honest with me then to say that they canāt fix the AC because they donāt have the parts for a Jeep. Tony the supervisor said that he would work with us & not charge us the $300 because they did not get the AC fixed. He referred us to a Jeep dealership and promised that if the dealership charged us letās say $250 then we would pay the difference, $50 and if the Jeep dealership charged us more than that they would pay the rest. I called them a couple of times to confirm that this is what they said. Tony confirmed and stated that if I had any issues to contact him and call them for them to make the payment. We got the AC fixed with the Jeep Dealership and the total was $700, the rep contacted Murray Auto-sales & spoke to Tony, and he said that they were not going to pay for it and we had to pay $700 out of pocket. It hasnāt been 6 months and Iām having issue with the fuel pump. This car has given me so many problems & I feel like they knew about it and would rather lie to their customers. In this process Tony was UNPROFESSIONAL, DEFENSIVE when he would speak to my parents AND DISHONEST. Iāve never had such a horrible customer service experience with a dealership. Even the Jeep dealership apologized for their behavior. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE to go to another dealership. I donāt want anyone to have the same experience as I did. Iām surprised that this dealership is still running & will report them. Iāve never given anyone a bad review. Mind you, I understand that not every vehicle will be perfect. It was the customer service experience that I had with them & of course on top of that my vehicle is not working.

When you bought it AS-IS and refused the warranty we offered, you also brought the car back after a month and we sold you a good car, the engine worked but according to the mechanic you drove the car without water as it had a leak because one of the hoses got damaged, again there's no way we can predict that. But anyway we fixed the car and we asked your father to pay us anything and he promised to pay us $300, after you picked up the vehicle you indicated the a/c was not working and you and I agreed that you would NOT pay us the $300 and for you to take care of that problem. 6 months later you gave us a bad review because you are mad as the fuel pump went out and I understand your frustration but like I told you on the phone you can't blame tony because there's no way we can predict if your fuel pump is going out 6 months ago, in fact no mechanic can predict that. It is your car after all and putting a bad review every time you invest in your own vehicle will not help you. As I told you on the phone, you can always bring us the car and we can help you by charging you our cost or helping you with the labor and you pay for the parts, because just like you or any other customer, we will try to help as much as we can. I'm sorry you had so many problems and as I told you on the phone we can help you but I don't appreciate you calling us dishonest and unprofessional that's not fair especially you working on customer service and asking tony not to tell your dad a lot of things that you know what they are (and don't worry we won't tell your dad anything) also by the way your dad called us 6 months ago and apologized and he was very grateful to hear that we fixed the issue with your engine after you continued to drive the car after it overheated.

They were not terrible at all, as many people say. I worked on sales before, so I could tell all the sales tactics they were throwing at me, including the "You probably know more than cars than me" trick. But they were very respectful, friendly and courteous, if a bit nervous. The whole process took just a day basically. No problems whatsoever. AJ did a great job. However, I will leave a little tip. Remember that these cars are "As-Is."No matter who you buy from, DO NOT make the same mistake I did (and most people make). Have the car checked by a mechanic before you buy, no matter who you buy from. Salesmen will tell you whatever they can so they sell the car, it's their job and might even lie about concerns you have. I was impatient and I really liked the car, so I didn't wait for my mechanic to check it. However I did it knowing that the car still had a factory warranty after checking the mileage and year, so I took it despite an odd engine knock it had. Long story short; yesterday I picked my Impala up from the Larry H Miller dealership after a $1000+ repair, which was thankfully covered by that warranty... So I paid $0. Car is fine now. Beautiful car. 300hp Impala with only 59000 miles. Impeccable. I love it.

My husband and I just bought a truck through them. Andy was our sales person and he was so kind and honest with us. The had on there original site a price for the truck but on a different on they had it posted for $3,000 cheaper I simply called to find out which one was the correct price and they told me they would give me the lowest price even though it was an accident that it was posted that low. We went in and test drove it and fell in love. Andy helped us answer any questions we had and was very polite. I loved that he wasnāt pushy about selling us a truck he just wanted to make sure that we left happy. We did a trade in and they where very reasonable on what they paid for the trade in it was a lot more then I was expecting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used vehicle. I had been looking for a while for a good solid truck with fairly low miles. They had what I was looking for but got me in to a beautiful truck that was almost seven years newer and at the best rates I was finding anywhere else. Jon and his staff are absolutely the best and willing to bend over backwards to help. I have now had the truck for a few weeks and noticed I was leaking coolant. I called Jon and without question had me bring it in to be fixed. I would definitely reffer anyone to these guys without hesitation. Thank you for awesome service and great attitudes. And remember folks the horror stories you hear are mostly because people don't know how to research before buying a vehicle. They get excited and then a day later get buyers remorse because they can't take responsibility for not knowing a damn thing about the car and letting themselves get into something that was most likely turned in because if said issues. Besides if your looking for something 2011 or newer chances are at a used dealership it was traded because of exciting problems. And if you know even just a little about dealerships you would understand that fixing every last issue on something that new would put anyone out of business. So use common sense and don't let the horror stories deter you. These guys are awesome and if treated with the respect they give you will bend over backwards

All we have to say is that we are pleased with our purchase. The salesmen here were professional, caring and patient especially with my husband and father. This is the second time we buy a car from them. The first time was Great no issues with my Toyota it worked perfectly. I had it payed off that same year. This time the price is Good and the car is EXCELLENT. We are so happy with them I wouldnt go anywhere else to purchase a car. We highly recommend Murray Auto sales for your car needs.

I give 5 stars for friendliness and 1 star for honesty (Meeting in the middle). We were interested in a Jetta and the staff were very welcoming and kind. Took the car to get a pre-purchase inspection to find out the transmission has bad, the radiator has random metal pieces in it and it had a rebuilt title. Mechanics advised us not to buy, and upon sharing this news with the dealership they said 'All cars have a little bit of issues.' Frustrated that they'd advertise as a clean title and then shrug off the fact that the car actually was rebuilt.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I saw a truck I liked on multiple sites and thought it was a fair price, so I went to see it and decided to buy it. It took a very long time to convince us, sign all the papers, run my credit, and etc. When I was ready to sign the last part of it to buy the truck they said the owner increased the price saying that the price on the ad was wrong even though they had that price on multiple sites. I had also shown them the price at the beginning and they said it was good, but then they just increased it and made me waste time that I could of have been using to look at other trucks! These people are liars and like to mislead people in order to sell cars.

I bought a car here slightly lower then the blue book value. The day after I bought it the check engine light came on. I brought it to my mechanic and it turns out the catalytic converter was bad. I brought it back and they would only pay half of the price of the cost to fix it. I loved the car so decided to go ahead and accept their offer. Everything worked great until six months later. The entire engine died on me so I had to replace it. Then four months later my transmission went out. Unfortunately I have invested too much in this car to get rid of it so I have to just bite the costs once again. In less than 10 months after buying a car from this place, the catalytic converter failed, my engine died, and my transmission went out. I would STRONGLY urge anyone to shop somewhere else. I will never shop here again.

I helped my son buy a car from Murray Auto Sales. The car had an issue that my son noticed when he was test driving the car. He told them about it and we all thought it was solved when we bought the car, but it had to be towed back to them several times just a few days later. We were starting to lose our patience a little, but they fixed the issue and didn't charge us, which was the right thing to do. We didn't have to argue with them about it either.

***************DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!*************** Completely dishonest people who do not know how to run a business or take care of customers.. I bought a car from them and then the following day I took it to a mechanic to have the tires aligned because they refused to do it. Well, as soon as they were starting the alignment, they said that the brake system was completely damaged because someone had recently poured ENGINE OIL in the BRAKE FLUID line. It was obviously their mechanics who don't know how to handle cars. This destroys the brake lines and it all needed to be replaced - about $3,000 in damage. Well, I went back to the dealership and asked DANNY about it because DARWIN had told me that the brakes worked great and had been checked by a mechanic. Well, when I went, DANNY told me it was too late and that I couldn't return the car or anything and that it was my problem and not theirs. At the end of it all, the only way they would take the car back was if they kept the $1,000 that I put down. Completely dishonest and total jerks. Before they decided that stealing my $1,000 was the only way they'd take my car back, Danny told me if I left the car there they would have it towed since it wasn't their car and that they would do whatever they needed to in order to force me into fulfilling the deal. He said the owner Sam would rather stick it to disgruntled customers, even if it means that he loses money on a deal. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. PLEASE LISTEN - THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. At the end of the day, they only care about selling cars and know nothing about customer service.

Bought my husband's truck here a month ago. We found the truck we liked, but 4 days after we bought it we had issues with it; it would just turn off unexpectedly while driving and leave us stranded . We called and took our truck back to get it fixed. When we got it back the problem still there. Had to take back a second time in less then 2 weeks, we hadn't even been able to drive it a whole week. The guy that sold it to us said it had warrant. They took the truck somewhere else to find out what the problem was. I called the manager to see if they would cover expenses. He said he had to talk to the mechanic and get back to me. Never heard back from him. At the end we had to pay for the part $500+. And they supposedly helped with paying for labor and other fees which was like $200+. What help. Best to get things in writing.

I do like to start by saying that we never left your stranded we helped you on both times your brought the truck. I do like to tell you that whenever we promise our customer anything we write it on what's called a DUE BILL this way there is no questions on what was promised and no delay. however when a customer runs into an issue we still do help them as much as we can and in your case the issue you had was after your bought the truck and it wasn't part of the deal originally so we offered to help you with the bill and not have you pay for the whole thing and that's exactly what we did. your issue I believe it was with wiring melted or something like that so if the truck had this issue from before it would've not started in the first place. it was misfortunate what happened but we didn't leave you stranded we helped you the first time and the second time also we did the work for free and we paid for towing. I wasn't sure if I was going to post a review or give Murray Auto Sales a call to express my frustration and concerns with a manager. while going over my experience with the manager I was asked "And what's the point". I remained polite and calm and explained again I was trying to give them a chance to correct the issue before posting negative reviews. he then apologized and asked me to come back in when we are ready. However after reading the reviews and knowing what we do I have decided I won't go back. If you do go here be sure you get a car fax and have the vehicle looked at by a mechanic before you purchase. I'm lucky enough to married to a mechanic so he can you usually spot a lemon or a wrecked vehicle quickly.

Usually hate car salesmen but the guy that helped me out, AJ, was so nice, patient, and to the point. He wasnāt pushy or wasting my time like every other salesman, just helpful and kind. Got a great car, was affordable for me and amazing customer service. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

This was the worst experience of my life. They seemed nice at first until you have a problem. I bought car from them and the next day it had transmission problems. They told me to bring it back but since it was sold āAS-ISā I would have to pay $600 to get the transmission fixed. So I did, then 2 weeks later it started having transmission problems again. I called every day for 2 weeks to get an itemized statement of what they did to the transmission, but they never sent me anything. I have taken to a different mechanic and they told me it will be 4200 to fix. I donāt think they did anything to fix it in the first place and just took my $600 this is absolutely ridiculous.
