Great Local Community Bank for all of your banking needs! I really enjoy working with Mountain Valley Community Bank (Piedmont Bank). I have been banking with them for business needs since they opened their doors. They truly receive 5 stars for customer care (thanks Courtney and team). I have used them for every type of service with foreign banking needs to checking and savings. They have always been quick with requests and competitive with rates.

I've been with this bank for about 8 years. They used to be forthcoming and responsive. The tellers are fine, but the customer service has changed. I routinely am told one thing and another thing will happen with my accounts. Then, when I call to ask about it, someone will use a condescending tone to tell me I was wrong or that it was someone else's fault. Check out my screenshot of their website from today, in the middle of December--it says "Happy Spring". I think that says it all.

This bank took advantage of my elderly grandfather. They enforced a one year penalty for early cd withdrawal regardless of circumstance. This is 6 months more than other reputable banks. Their rates are also much lower than Wells Fargo. Look elsewhere and protect your money.

I have been with this bank for a little over 4 years. I have finally gotten fed up with their attitude especially since merging with Piedmont. I do not recommend anyone doing business with this bank especially for a business account.

I'm a Forsyth County transplant who moved here a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. I LOVE the North Georgia mountains! When I first approached Mountain Valley Community Bank at the request of my real estate agent, I wasn't sure what to expect. My situation was unique. I'm a small business owner of an Airbnb and was just starting into my second year when the pandemic forced me to shut down. However, my fantastic loan specialist, Ken, and his wonderful assistant, Terri, worked their magic and got me qualified for an RV/tiny house in one of the local parks in time for a last minute requested early closing. Mountain Valley Community Bank is one of the only (if not THE only) banks that loans on these kind of dwellings and if not for them, my income stream would have been delayed. Now I can stay in this area I love so much and take care of myself financially in a way that I really enjoy. I can't say enough good things about these folks and I highly recommend them. When I'm ready to buy my next property, I know exactly where to go. Thank you to everyone who works there for helping me reach my goal. I look forward to our next transaction!

I have been with this bank for 5 years. I have had constant issue with cards not working, deposits missing, funds not being available. After they merged with peidmomt bank it has went down hill I have several friends who have pulled & went somewhere else because of similar issue. There is always some excuse none of them add up & I am sad to say I will no longer use this bank after I was told the easiest way to not worry about my card getting declined was to carry cash I lost it. Sincerely a angry customer.....

Let me just say how amazing the staff are! We wanted to get away from united community bank! Couldn't ask for better service.

Everyone is polite, friendly, and takes their time to make sure that they have helped me with everything that I came to the bank for.
