Mountain America Credit Union Antelope Dr, Layton

This credit union disappoints me more and more all the time. First, I really dislike the customer service at the Layton branch and second, if I go to the ATM outside it only works about two thirds of the time I need to use it. Lastly, way to make extra money Mountain America!.....it is absolutely my fault when my account overdrafts (I do admit that) but unlike other credit unions and banks that I have had, you guys don't even give a same day grace period to get an account in the positive, to not charge that overdraft fee...you just take it. Again my fault but your customer support is definitely undesirable in more ways than one. You should get one star, not two really, but you do have great agents at other branches. Edit to add, next time pull from one of the savings accounts I have. Oh wait, you don't make extra money if you do that. I guess it is convenient that a withdrawal hits my account in the same day before a deposit does (or I guess I should have transferred the money myself)....because yes, my savings has money and my checking account will have enough money. And by the way, YOU don't pay for my overdraft, at the end of the day I still do. Good thing I belong to another credit union, as well though. *In response to yours....typical generic answer.

I and my other half have been doing business with mountain America credit union for nearly 9 years. I will admit.. we have ran into some "hick-up's" with customer service. I can say without a doubt that the Layton branch has always stepped in and resolved the issue in a timely manner. It's why I keep coming back do business... They not only take responsibility when they need to.. but get the issue resolved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Lisa Whitney in all of your banking needs. As we have had her help on many occasions and will continue. Thank you Mountain America credit union for caring, because of you... I was able to get a truck that I really wanted and can enjoy for many years to come.

They never have enough tellers. Tellers aren't friendly they never can print new cards. Never try to get a loan here either Go to kaysville instead

As always a pleasant experience. They treat their members as people and not as a "Next" Even when they're busy they don't rush you and take care of you until your matters are resolved. I wish I remembered the name of the young man I just spoke with, all I remember is that his name starts with a J... Thank you J.

Was greeted as I came into foyer, no waiting. Chose to walk in rather than drive through since I had a trailer on my truck. Had a check to apply to my Visa account. Was quick and friendly. Good service. Thank You MACU

I absolutely love banking through Mountian America, they are always willing to help their customers and when they do they take good care of us.

I came to Mountain America Credit Union after being with another institution for the last 11 years. The Layton branch has impressed me with excellent customer service and friendly staff. I cannot say enough positive things about the loan officer, Lisa Whitney! She truly is amazing to work with. Overall very pleased with MACU and my only regret is that I didn’t switch sooner!

I was struggling and having a hard time building my credit, and or even having people to take the time and see me for who I am instead of the mistakes I have made. One day I went into my local branch and there was this sharp young man Alex, step by step he walked me through the proper channels to improve my credit he did it all, he made it easy on. I was able to leave there feeling better than I did before I got there. Mountain America you help me getting started off on the right track. Thank you!

It was a long wait only 1 teller for drive up the person in other line had a long time and a lot of questions or needs . I sat seems like a long time to have my turn. Teller was very nice and courteously efficient. But wait seemed excessive. Don't know if it's possible to use 2 tellers in driveup when a customer has lots of questions or more than 1 transaction.

We had the BEST experience at the Layton location today. The level of customer service Cassie provided to us was top notch. From the moment we entered the front doors, she acknowledged us, helped us with our needs, and provided solutions beyond what was expected. Her positivity and friendliness is contagious. Please recognize her for her excellent customer service skills.

Lisa is our loan officer and she makes the process so easy. We go to her for everything. If it wasn’t for her, my husband would’ve walked out and switched banks because he was waiting for 2 hours. She saved the day!
