Mountain America Credit Union E Southern Ave, Mesa

Went to them for an RV loan for $47,000 but got my application denied. I have great credit score, make over $100,000/yr, have zero debt, have >$75,000 in saving. After providing my W-2s and recent paystubs they denied my application because I "plan on traveling". What else do you do with an RV?! Unreal! They hand out loans to people WAY less qualified than I am. Going to Desert Financial that has always treated up great.

I have been with mountain America for a couple years have several accounts there. I want to make a deposit and open up another account they told me I had to make an appointment and was very rude about it. Greenfield and Southern branch is very rude people

Excellent services on handling our accounts. We have been credit union members since 1963.

Rude customer service by an older lady [teller]! We was at the lobby filling out a deposit form..Told someone behind us to go ahead! The teller was very rude N unprofessional to us and the customer behind us! She heard us told the customer behind us to go ahead..She yelled at us "I'm not ready yet!" She could have say it in a nicer way! Don't forget we are depositing moneys in your bank.There are many banks around here we could go to!

I needed to replace my debit card and credit card, due to excessive wear. I was expecting that there would be a delay of several days, which is what happened when i replaced my Chase cards....(2 weeks and still waiting). I was happy to get my new Mountain America cards the same day. That's service

Tellers have always been very friendly, helpful and courteous. It's nice to walk into the bank and be greeted by all employees. They may not know my name, but they greet me like they do.

I was very pleased when I visited Mountain America to make a loan payment. There was no wait time and my transaction was handled courteously and efficiently. What a great experience in these days where much time is spent waiting in line for service!

I'm not sure if this is the branch I was dealing with but overall my experience with Mountain America was a complete nightmare. I applied for a student loan for medical school which I start my Respiratory Therapist program in 2 weeks and they were not helpful at all!!! They were all over the place with my application and it took days for me to get a hold of someone to help me with this loan. Also when I tired to add my grandmother as a co-signer they totally downed played it and convinced her not to do it! This experience was very stressful for me since i start school so soon. I was to a point where I canceled everything with this company and I will definitely not recommend this place if you're trying to get a loan for education. They obviously done cherish the value of students trying to make a difference.

Had some issues with my account, Stewart was so kind. It’s a unicorn when you have Great customer service these days. So I feel when you experience it, people should be recognized. This is why I bank at Mountain America on Southern.

The people working at this bank either need to go to school or learn how to read and provide any information with details and also needing to make sure that they are correct about it. I talked to 3 different people 2 told me the exact same answer but the 3rd told me something very different that apparently came from a manager. Y'all need to make sure your staff goes back to school, you are dealing with people credit and money at least make sure they know how to do their job!

We walked into the Southern Avenue Branch to speak with a loan officer. Kaani greeted us and assisted us in clarifying our RV loan details. She made the right calls, got everything confirmed and spoke to the RV dealer about making the purchase happen...all in the same visit. We aren't officially members now but will be and are looking forward to it! This is how banking should be. Thank you sooo much!!

I procured a HELOC loan from the branch in Mesa, AZ. The process went smoothly and Caitlin was a gem to work with. The one day she was not available, Courtney stepped right in to serve our needs. I needed the HELOC funds on a short timeline and they worked diligently to get them to me on time. Well done, MACU.

I've been with macu for many years now. It was honestly not a choice it was macu taking my student loan but having no locations around me at all (they had 2 locations at the time) . Then I moved to the east valley and they became my bank. 1st I will say the general customer service at the Utah center used to be lacking, but their rates, services and in person experience was always stellar. I have no issues in the recent expansion which says a lot. I had switched over fully to them as my full time bank. So over the last year I had been trying to change my auto loan over to them and I couldn't do it then but I was able to now because the market and not only did I have the best experience with Aaron fielding and tori Bartholoew I could not recommend taking your business here enough. Every bank wants your loan. They want your interest payment but I never feel like that with macu. I hope this reaches some higher upper big dig guys because Aaron was so efficient so helpful and I learned not everyone gets a survey to fill out. I did not get one for him. But he was top notch.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Went through the drive-thru to get a cashiers check and the lady on the other end was super rude and impatient.

Mountain America Credit Union is a bank that cares about their customers. When I go in for a transaction I get fast service from a person that knows what they are doing. This is our first time using a credit union. Happy it was Mountain America Credit Union. We received outstanding service from Kathlyn. The Mesa location is warm and friendly, it looks great and you don't feel like a number. We opened a bank account and secured a car loan there. Can't say enough about them. Connie runs a tight, but warm ship. We're very happy and look forward to great personal and business relationship with Mountain America.
