Motor City Pawn Brokers Eight Mile Rd, Ferndale

This was my first time here. By far the highest paying for tvs which is a plus. The customer service was excellent 👍. A great aspect of this pawn shop is they take everything including coins. Also, offer free water and popcorn. The loan terms are awesome and the sooner you pick up your items- the less you pay. Also, you can earn free in store credit on your birthday month, for referrals, and checking into fb when you get there.

Quick and simple. Very clean and quiet store, good service. Heather got us in the system and out the door in about 15 minutes ( and the only reason it took that long is due to needing to reset the apple watch I was pawning, which took at least 5 minutes ). Much better experience than I've had at places like American jewelry and loan.

They are thieves, They will switch your items. The Biggest mistake I went in with a nice ring, picked up look alike cheap ring. DO NOT TRUST THEM.. Edit: Sir If you really took this seriously, you would have contacted me personal. I made first complaint at your business. 2nd time called your business and spoke to a manager. .he hung up on me another "fake offended" NOT ONE PERSON, asked ? Whats wrong? All said. No, your wrong. ( Customer is always right)! What im saying is very SERIOUS and to be responding to me on " a. REVIEW, is Cowardly, and You "know",and are"OK" with this Unprofessional behavior. This is " Normal" business for you. I WILL BE MADE WHOLE. And not going to stop until I am ""Internal Investigation""... You are a Joke ..

I shop and pawn with all the other locations and have since I was a teenager and this location customer service is butt the sarcasm and talking to you like u stupid is not called for they need people with good customer service in the front and answering phone and keep the mentally miserable ones in the back stocking or something. Much love though, ik now to skip over this location 😁😁

The Manager Mike Stadler acts like they aren't making no money he was mad hating because I have a large amount of store credit an was told he would no longer give me store credit when I come in and check in even tho I come in regularly and I am always buying or pawning something when I come in. There was no rules posted saying how much store credit I can receive for checking in because of him I will never go to this location. It takes money to make money so the$1500 I've spent in the last week in your business for you to be mad over $10 is petty.

They are always friendly and gives you a fair price on whatever you bring in.

I worked with Lee in the sale of an electronic I just had no use for. He was so easy to work, super nice and answered all of my questions questions. The sales intake side was very neat and clean, they have divided off windows that offer privacy during your transaction. The space also looks a bit updated and uplifting, being my first time ever in a pawn shop my knowings were only from what you see in movies and on tv which is like creepy tiny places that smell like moth balls. This is the exact opposite!

Had a great visit First time there it will. Not be my last. Love my full length mink. Can't tell you my sales associate. name. I can say he wished me birthday. greetings offered me cold water. Explained to me about the buying process. There was even a coupon label on the bottle for ten percent off my next purchase.with that being said. Run don't walk go and check them out. Plenty parking.

The people and staff here at motor City pawnbrokers in Ferndale off of 8 Mile they were very courteous, helpful, polite, and very professional. They explained to me my options and what I'm allowed to do they went through all the fine print and details for me. Also the loan rates are amazing they have a vast variety of things to choose from if you're looking to buy something I would recommend this place to anyone looking to pawn loan or buy anything.

There are only 5 stars to max the review but this business should have at least 8 stars. Helped with everything. They were very professional, patient and worked hard on what I was after Everytime I went in. Yes, at a pawn shop. The knowledgeable employees really care about customers. Prices are well in reasonable to discount range. Yes, still the same pawn. Great deals there. No reason not to pick this place as a priority go-to when you need a pawn. Free popcorn too, and waters...so go here. Don't waste time at other shops. Even had a shop smith, what!

Ok I was very disappointed with your establishment. When I came to retrieve my merchandise. They made me purchase a lock for my weapon. They "SHOULD HAVE" explained that I needed one when I first pawned it, and could have brought one from home. I will not be patronizing your establishment ever again !!!

I tried pawning my laptop here today for gas and buying my baby some wipes. Long story short, an older guy was assisting me. If I'm not mistaking I believe their name tag read Mark. Anyway, he seemed as if he was going to be pretty nice but when he opened up my laptop he saw a ant on the screen and he quoted, "you have something crawling on this, so you can take it back to wherever you came from. Get that device out of this store." I was so applaud because he treated me rudely. His passive aggression was not necessary. All off seeing an ant, their harmless! It was a entire anthill in the corner of their front window! That's why I went to a different location of theirs to pawn! Mark is an a**hole.

Very clean establishment. Prices are mid-range. Staff are exceptional in their knowledge of the products they sell. Very easy location off of 8 Mile. These are the guys you want to come in and see! Motor city will make sure your satisfied with your purchase. They have a very easy loan policy as well you get that extra month to make your payment and get your property back. I cannot say enough good things about motor City pawn. They do have a layaway program as well. A year later and I'm still rocking this joint. Quality merchandise any problems you have they will fix!

I've picked up some tools there in a pinch and they'll negotiate with you and make sure you leave happy. I've messed with a lot of pawn in the area and by far the service was better. Always with respect like they value their customers. I've recommended them to multiple people.

Motor City Pawn treat everyone that enters the store like family. The staff is very professional and always have a cheerful greeting to the customer. Motor City is the number one pawn store for Michigan.
