    From my first contact with Mike, who helped me locate a car, to my outstanding sales experience with Perry and financing experience with Steven and assistance from Taryn, the process was smooth, pleasant and easy. Perry kept me informed about progress every step of the way. Steven gave me great information about the extended warranties and did not try to oversell. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I have recommended this dealer to friends. When we left the dealership, it was dark and we had to drive more than 2 1/2 hrs home. Perry asked me to text when we got home and made sure we arrived safely. I am so happy with my new Leaf! and I am SO happy that it is blue! :-) I was dreading buying a car but it ended up being a really positive experience. These folks are great.

    I liked how Crystal Doby was able to direct me throughout the entire process and even with the long wait due to the chip shortage, she reassured me that I will get my car. As a mother this reassurance has helped me tremendously. I will be referring clients to the dealership because of this amazing employee. Even when it came time to pick up my car, Crystal was very detailed in going over the user manuals and functions of the car so that I would have no issues, as well as letting me know exactly where the service department is to be able to receive those services when the time comes.

    I can only rate the service department, but after this experience, we will definitely never buy a car from this place. Service department said that they could fix my daughter's car and that since I was dropping it off at 2pm, that it would be the next day before they could replace the fuel injector. Two and a half days later, they didn't do a single thing to the car and every time that I would call to speak with the advisor on the status, I wouldn't get to speak to anyone because they wouldn't answer the phone, and I had to leave a message. BTW, Allie, nor Tom would return my call. Finally had to pick up the car and take to another service shop. Waste of time to get no answers or get the injector replaced, but instead, all I ever received from them was excuses.

    Exceptional car buying experience. I absolutely dreaded this day knowing our Subaru at close to 200,000 miles - was time to upgrade. Christian Marge made this experience easy and painless. I knew my numbers and what I wanted. Christian and his crew made it happen! They got me to pretty much exactly what I wanted numbers wise and in a truck we love. I’m eager to see moving forward how the service department is. I’m optimistic our new Titian will bring my family and I as much joy and stress free mileage as our Subaru!     Purchased a car from here in 2020 and in 2021 my car started giving me issues (wouldn’t start) because of a recall. I went to this dealership where I purchased the car and they said nothing was wrong with it but there was a recall. They never said the recall was the issue with it not starting. It eventually got so bad that it blew out one of my keys. They wouldn’t replace the key but corporate did. They fixed the recall by finally pulling a piece off old one the cars on the lot (this happened at visit number three). I wouldn’t buy here again.

    Three years ago I was in a horrific wreck and I went to Nissan of Lake Norman. George was an awesome salesman. I just went to get my annual inspection (which is free at the dealership for as long as you own the car) and an oil change. I had an AWESOME $25 off coupon and as always, they completed the visit with a complimentary wash, inside and out. I have loved them for the three years they have serviced me and look at my baby Nicey the Nissan. She still looks as good as new. Their customer service cannot be beat!

    I have been a customer of Lake Norman Modern Nissan for many years...God only knows why. I traded in my Nissan for an Audi...and things have never been the same. I have spent the entire day trying to get a copy of an extended warranty I purchased and was provide via thumb drive, which does not work. I was told finance was the only department that can provide me a copy. Well, I have called all day, left messages, been transferred to other managers who lines go to voice mail. No one has returned my calls, and no one can provide me what I need...it is only a copy of an extended warranty not some top secret car trade deals. Also when I purchased this warranty I was told it would include oil changes...much to my shock that was not true. I had the same warranty on my Nissan...and they did not even honor or transfer that service to my new car. This is why they have not seen my car nor ever will again. There are so many other options to have great customer service at other dealerships and I would suggest you take that opportunity and never deal with Lake Norman Nissan...unless of course you are satisfied with less than par customer services.

    I am so glad I no longer have to deal with Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. I definitely would not recommend buying, selling, or getting your vehicle serviced at this location. I purchased my Nissan Pathfinder from this location new in 2014. The vehicle came with free inspections for the life of the vehicle. We take care of our cars and maintain our vehicle recommended services. Each time it would take hours to complete the inspection. I would only take my vehicle here for inspections or if other Nissan dealerships did not have appointments that fit my schedule. I am a mom and an educator so my time is valuable. I hated going to the dealership for any type of service because of the long wait times. In March I took my vehicle in for a 100K service and a recall I was told that everything was fine. I did pay 304.00 for maintenance (air cabin filters, flushes etc), then I went back on June 8th or my annual inspection. A 30 minute service took over 2 hours with an appointment! My appointment was at 9:15, and by 12:00 I had to ask for my vehicle. Again I was told my car was in great condition. Recently I decided to sell my vehicle and had a firm offer on the table from another dealership. Nissan of Lake Norman asked me to come and they would beat that offer. The day before I had uploaded required information and photos on their site, but I had to call them to start the conversation on selling the vehicle. I brought the vehicle in only to be told it was giving a code, and received a lower offer. Then I was told that this was happening with a lot of 2014 Nissans. The assessment was questionable because two other dealerships had assessed my vehicle that day and did not mention this “code”. My biggest concern was why I just being given this information after receiving two recent services with a great report?!? I sold to the other dealership for my asking price and that dealership gave me a loaner vehicle to drive even though I am not purchasing a vehicle from them. Someone from Nissan of Lake Norman called me the following day inquiring about purchasing my vehicle. I recounted the aforementioned encounter and he responded with an apology, and stated, “I hope you get your (redacted car brand)”. I responded, “Oh, it is a done deal I am simply waiting on delivery.” The BEST part is that my NEW car was delivered early. The universe heard his request…..

    I just had the transmission go out in my van. This is not something that anyone would look forward to. With that said, the service that was provided was great! They went above and beyond at every turn. Tom E. personally owned my repair, and stayed in contact the whole time, and really pushed to get me back on the road. I will go back for my future needs without a doubt.

    Generally don't have a good experience with service staff, but this visit was not just pain free, but relaxing. Service rep was courteous, nice and professional. Explained the service needed and got out of there before the timeframe that she provided to me at the start. Only negative was the layout of the waiting room. Big windows make it airy, but the sun just bakes.

    It takes them 2 hours to change oil even when you had an appointment. Recommended me to immediately change engine and cabin filter, although i had replaced them last month and they are all fine. I doubt if they even checked it. Good amount of seating space if you want to wait and work from there.

    I already knew what I wanted before contacting modern nissan. I requested to schedule a test drive (late at night) and Chris called me the next day. He has been extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. There was no hassle or pressure and I feel that we both got a good deal. He is a great sales man and doesn't stop the moment the moment the sale is made/finalized. He still checks in with me to make sure that my new car is everything that i want and expected it to be. He helped schedule my window tinting and went with me when I got there, making finding where to go seamless. I didn't have to do anything, he did it all for me. Would definitely recommend modern Nissan. Ask for Chris when you go!

    You charged for an alignment that was supposed to be covered in an extra coverage we bought. My Don took the car, it’s in both our names. He is young and paid. You lied to him. I think I may need to talk with an attorney, you clearly have twisted facts. Sad, my brother in law worked at Michael Jordon Nissan for ever, should have went there!! I would discourage anyone, from coming to modern! We were also told that Exeter was Nissan financing, as if it was corporate funding , from the actual Nissan company! I hope your small commission was worth loosing massive business. I am in many social media groups, and after this weeks fiasco, I have already posted to stay away from your dealership.

    First I would like to thank Christian, Rob and Nick for making my car buying experience smooth and painless. I currently live in the state of NY and Modern Nissan was recommended highly. As I tend to be a little picky in what I look for in a vehicle , I was able to provide them with exactly what features I wanted and within minutes I had a few options to choose from! They made the process so easy! Not only did they ensure that the vehicle was up to my standards all documents were mailed right to me to sign! No Hassle!     I bought my car from Modern about 5 years ago. I have been having my car serviced there ever since. It has always been a pleasant experience. All my car's needs have been met satisfactorily and in a timely manner. All the employees are respectful and well mannered and the waiting room is neat clean and modern. Can't ask for much more so I will continue to bringing my car there and recommend Modern Nissan as the need arises.

He offered to call the out of state Nissan dealership and verify the details. He then called me back and updated me. This is TRUE customer service.. you now have a customer for life.

    They called me and told me that the part for my car has came in they didn't just tell me to bring it in they asked me when can I bring the car in and they have me a car outside waiting on me until my car was fixed and the car was sitting outside waiting on me couldn't ask for nothing better than that

    I had a bumber replaced, a small dent removed, the 70000 mi service, and had it detailed. My car looks and feels like it is brand new, and it drives like a dream. It is like the day I bought it. This is my second Nissan and I have lived in many parts of the US, so I have received service from a number of different Nissan dealers, but none of the ones I have been to come close to my experience at Lake Norman Nissan. They are a big part of the reason I bought my 2nd Nissan and might buy a 3rd. At other Nissan dealers I had no complaints, but after service here my car just drives so much better, and that was also my experience with my previous car. They are straight forward about what you need and do not need, they are never pushy about getting things I do not need right now, but they let me know with clear explanations what might be coming down the road. The service is exception and they are a pleasure to deal with.

    My 2019 Rogue that I purchased in August of last year was involved in an accident and was deemed a total loss. I contacted the dealership and requested to work with Christian Marge, who was the salesman I worked with to purchase my previous car. Even through the quarantine, he found me the exact vehicle I wanted, a newer model, better features and was able to get me a lower monthly payment! I only had to come to the dealership once for about 15 minutes to sign the paperwork that was already prepared, get the key and drive away! It was the most painless experience I have ever had at a car dealership.

    Horrible service. There was such bad communication between everyone, they kept making me drive back and forth from the dealership, they would tell me one thing over over the phone and I would show up and they would say something. The sales person (Stephen) was also not helpful, he would avoid the problems that would come up with the selling process, he also did not go over anything or explain anything. Very difficult to have a conversation with. Do not recommend.

    Excellent service, called Mike W. to ask about a 2013 Explorer that was at their sister store more than two hours away. He said he would be glad to have it picked up and delivered to their dealership. Christian Marge drove the car down and helped us through the sales process. Super easy, fast, great experience.     I went to several dealers before going to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman and wish I had gone sooner. Chris, a member of the sales team, was professional and extremely helpful with my experience.     Normally I receive world class customer service each time I visit the Modern Nissan of Lake Norman or Concord. We have purchased 5 cars from Modern, take our cars to get service there each time. My family and I have done nothing but be loyal to Modern and only think of the Modern name when friends or family members ask where a great place to purchase a car would be. This past Friday when I visited I could not believed how the Sales Manager treated a long time customer. The sales person did a great job trying to assist me. I would give him a 5 star. But, the manager on duty must have wanted to get out of work early or something. He pretty much said there was nothing he could do for me tonight if I didn't want to put a down payment on the vehicle. In our first 5 cars we have never place a down payment due to our great credit score. Sales Manager shook by hand and said goodbye come back later if I wanted. I went in ready to make an agreement on a car and have it shipped down to test drive. I left with anger and disappointment. Not sure now, but I probably should take my business down to Hendrick.

    The price for the internet sale was not what was quoted. The salesperson and I worked out a price, however when I checked the paperwork the next day (I usually check before signing but my fault for not doing so) it was not the price we discussed. In fact it was more which I believe was to increased to offset for the trade-in. Again, my fault for not going through the contract prior to signing. I never in the past bought service contracts however since I ended up this time, I'll only go to get the service I am paying for but nothing else. I should've stuck with dealing to Modern Nissan in Concord as I've been a customer there for over 13 years. I'll have to find another service center for my other vehicle. This will be my last purchase at Modern Nissan. Another note, sales people should not give a customer a form on what answers to put on a survey, tacky.

    I would not recommend this dealership or return there after leasing 4 vehicles with them. Our last sales experience was beyond awful. I cannot even count how many hours of our time our sales person Crystal has wasted. From the initial selling and quoting process... we did not want to come in to the dealership. We wanted a quote over the phone and would shop around. With two small kids we did not want to spend an entire day haggling at the dealership. (It's exactly what happened anyway) So many phone calls and voice mails trying to get us in. Never giving us their best offer. This was drawn out for months. Then we go in and finally pick our vehicles only to spend an entire day waiting to sign papers... then we end up having to come back because they were drawn up incorrectly. You'd think the nightmare was over but NO, they were done incorrectly again and so we made Crystal come to our house for us to sign the paperwork again. We were at our limit. Think it's over? Nope! Now we keep receiving a bill for the vehicle we had just turned in. When I finally have the time to research what it's all about I come to find that they put our date of return for the vehicle in several months after it had actually been turned in, causing us to have additional payments and then a delinquent account and credit issues. Now I have been trying to get Crystal and the Manager to respond to several calls and emails to remedy their mistake and I am getting nowhere. There is no apology, no remedy, no urgency to speak of. Hence this review. Stay away from this dealership at all costs. They don't give two craps about their customers once they get your money AND are incompetent. Oh forgot one very important thing! I have waited about 6.5 months to say anything bad about this dealership or Crystal! Even after they stalk you to fill out a survey! Even after Crystal mentioned several times during our sale that she hoped we filled out 5 stars for everything. I didn't want to get her in trouble. She is very nice so I figured not fill out the survey at all if I didn't have nice things to say! So, I am not quick to complain. Actually quite the opposite. But their total lack of response to this very serious mistake has forced me to this point.

    Let me start by saying that the customer service I experienced was great! Sherri was awesome. No issues whatsoever in that regard. The issue is that every single time my boyfriend or I come here to get something done, something is done incorrectly. I had a standard oil change and filter replacement per recommendation. The filters were not put in correctly so now when I turn my air on it sounds like a siren. I contacted the service station and haven’t heard back yet. We will now have to bring the car back in to have it fixed. We shouldn’t have to bring our cars in twice every time we have general maintenance.

    Our salesman, Christian, listened well and knew what we wanted to do. My husband and I went home and looked everything over, but we weren’t sure if we wanted to proceed or not. We texted with Christian - he was not pushy - and decided to not go ahead talking about a deal for a new truck. The next day my husband was ready to proceed! We made an appointment with Christian.     Overall, the experience was excellent. Everyone was very courteous and friendly and service was fast and professional. I did ask that my Nissan Leaf EV be charged while I waited for service but it was not, which required me to wait around after my service was complete to charge the car.     Very happy with their service. I went to many dealers and I was really starting to doubt there was any difference between buying from a total stranger or a dealer until I went to Modern Nissan. First Gil came right away to say hello and offer help, very knowledgeable and helpful. I found a car I love, they really try to offer quality, they know what they are doing so paperwork was fast, and Gil just really tried to make me happy , help me in all he could and I did get a very good deal.

    I have been getting my car serviced here for 8 years now. Tom Ellis is amazing. He always lets me know exactly what is going on with my car. My car is a 2013 and is in really great condition because Tom and the service department always treats my car like it is there own. Tom always lets me know the price before repairs are made so there is no surprises at the time of payment. He explains to me what is going on with my car in a way that I will understand. Always given a wait time that is very close to accurate each time and updates along the way, so you are never left waiting without answers. The customer service you receive from Tom is outstanding!

    I always have a great experience at Lake Norman modern Nissan. I like the feature where I can drop my car off at night and they called me the next day and let me know what needs to be done and then give me an estimated time when it will be ready.     What can I say to do these people justice? Actions speak a lot louder than words and due to their knowledge, response time and willingness to go the extra mile I do not purchase my vehicles from anywhere else, even though I reside in NY. Everything starts with Christian Marge who has assisted myself with 2 vehicles, and quite a few more that I reference to him due to his expertise, knowledge and helpful/professional demeanor. Christian provided extra pictures, videos, supporting documentation and assistance throughout the process as we were not on site, which was truly appreciated. Nick Palmas and Rob Schaefer were able to assist with the financing, documentation and shipping aspect going beyond the call of duty by staying late, or working in their off time to ensure things were taken care of before the holiday/end of month. I truly appreciate their efforts, deal making skills and support even after the documents have been signed. Currently awaiting shipment of 2 vehicles, and assisting 3 more people with purchasing cars from them as the process has been painless and quick each time. Can't recommend them enough!

    Best and easiest experience ever! Contacted them through KBB about a 2019 4runner they had listed. Received an immediate call back and email. Worked out all details of sale over the phone via text. Met with finance guy over video chat. And my new 4runner was delivered to my house in Raleigh from Charlotte the following day by my salesperson, Stephen Leach. Edited 9/3 as I still have not received the registration for my new vehicle and was not aware there was a problem until the DMV threatened to take my plates. The title clerk did not communicate to me or any sales/finance person I worked with that there was an issue. Very frustrating as I am not allowed to talk directly to clerk, but have to go through other people!

    It was ok... I went in for a routine oil change but i was having trouble with my battery and getting a key not found error. The oil change was as expected but battery was bad, changed but had to come back for the key not found error.

    EVERYBODY LOVES BACON! I went through 6 dealerships, drove hundreds of miles, and dealt with some of the shadiest salespeople before I stumbled upon Bacon at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. He and his team worked their tails off to get me into the exact car I wanted! As a customer service supervisor, I have learned not to expect anything that resembles customer service from a car dealership, but Bacon and the folks at Modern shattered my expectations! They worked out a deal over the phone so I wouldn't have to drive 3 hours (round trip) just to be disappointed. If you're in the market for a New/Used car, check out Modern and ask for Bacon.     I was greeted almost immediately by the Service Advisor, Ally and was attended to in a friendly and professional manner when dropping my car for service at Modern Nissan. Initially the car need the NC state inspection and an oil change. However, Ally later advised me that other services may be required or recommended. I later consulted with her and selected three additional services out of the 5 recommended, including a wheel alignment which the car badly needed, and the air filters being the other services requested. My car was hand washed as well and everything was ready when I went to pick it up.

    My husband and I traded our car in for a used Murano. We were there for 3 hours (which is fine) but then we started signing paperwork and noticed a $1,000 add on fee which we were confused by and was never told what those “add ons” were exactly. We still went on with our purchase and then noticed when we were leaving, the car had some flaws, like rotted tires, a crack in the windshield, and a piece of a key broken off in the key entry. We mentioned it to the dealer and he said it passed inspection. Fast forward a month we got a call from finance saying they needed my car title from when we traded in and they were going to handle it. 2 months later we get a threatening call saying if we do not give our car title over they will have to take legal action. But yet 2 months prior SHE was going to handle it. We drove over an hour away for this car and we’re so excited but after our experience we will never go back.

    These guys are amazing!! Especially Brian and Steven. My husband and I came looking for a car after ours was totaled last week. I was indecisive the entire time and Brian did everything he could to help me. He went out in the cold rain numerous times and got different cars for me to drive and stayed 2 hours late until I finally decided to purchase a car. Steven also stayed two hours late and worked with our payments to get them down. He then prayed with us because he could obviously see how stressed I was (I was physically shaking). I can’t give them enough stars. I highly recommend them! I will admit....I was probably a terrible customer and put them through hell, but at the end of the day it showed that they cared about me and my purchase and I was able to walk away with a great car for a great price.

    This has been one of the best car buying experiences yet. I honestly have never met more professional and caring people when it comes to car buying. My sales representative ”Christian” has been so helpful and made the whole process EASY! He informed me every step of the way, I couldn't have asked for a better rep. To top off everything Rob and Christian worked together to get me an even lower interest rate which I appreciate a lot. I did 80% of everything over the phone and Internet so when I get there all I had to do was sign paperwork. I drove an hour to this dealership and I'm so glad I did.     My mother needed a Rogue S Model to replace a handicap van that was used by my father that recently passed. Price on the vehicle had already been set as she is a USAA member and the price that they gave her was $20,662. After deciding we wanted the car we started the whole process with the salesguy and eventually the salesmanager unfortunately. Told them I was willing to pay the stated price plus $550 dealership doc fee, $106 in State Fees, and the 3% Highway use tax. Cutting to the chase that would have been $21,255....then the salesmanager comes in. After I let him know that's what we would pay he starts with the "Do you think grocery stores make a profit?" BS. Told him he was making a profit. They had already made several "mistakes" on the offer paperwork to try to get us to $23,800. I told him I know all the tricks to put them away if he wanted to deal. He didn't, told him we were done! Told him we would proceed to East Charlotte Nissan and he said they would run us around charge more fees blah blah blah.....We went anyway. Modern you are not the Catdaddy! Not even close. John (salesman) sorry we couldn't get to a deal I hold nothing against you, you tried. Your salesmanager is just a jerk! Closed the deal at East Charlotte Nissan...a lot nicer people and saved $1300 over Modern's price. Paid a little more than we wanted at $22,500 but a better price than we would have gotten at Modern! People don't waste your time at this dealership you can do better elsewhere. Mom's 2017 Rogue S below and $1300 in her pocket that Modern wanted to steal.

    BEWARE!!! I brought my 2014 Altima to your location in September of 2018 because the transmission went at 46k miles. Luckily I was still under warranty! Wrong! Because I was still under warranty, the transmission was never replaced, it was rebuilt instead. I expressed concern then that I felt this was not being fixed properly and that I would have more issues down the road but I was reassured the rebuild would fix it. I brought the car back in a few months later because something just didn’t feel right and I was reassured again that everything looked fine. Well, I have only put 10k miles on the car since the rebuild, now out of warranty, and the transmission went again. I brought it back to your location and within an hour, was told the transmission needs to be replaced. I explained the ‘band aide’ fix of the transmission when I was under warranty and was told “yeah we probably should have replaced it in 2018”. I was cheated and now told to pay $3,400 for a new transmission that should have been replaced when I was under warranty.

    Horrible service. There was such bad communication between everyone, they kept making me drive back and forth from the dealership, they would tell me one thing over over the phone and I would show up and they would say something. The sales person (Stephen) was also not helpful, he would avoid the problems that would come up with the selling process, he also did not go over anything or explain anything. Very difficult to have a conversation with. Do not recommend.

    Service Center-I call to make an appointment. I show up she has no idea why I'm there, I tell her I need car inspection, she tells me the machine is broken. I told her they didn't tell me that on the phone, she proceeds to blame the call center, like it's their fault. Which it's not they should give the call center updates. I then tell her about my recall which she proceeds to tell me they probably don't have it and confused my model for a maxima which I repeated twice it was a sentra. Finally I call at 4pm to be told it's been done since 2pm. I don't understand the purpose of having an appointment if I have to repeat myself or wait just as long.

    This Rogue is my third Nissan purchase. I bought it for my 19 year old. I shopped around the country for the vehicle and visited Nissan in Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina, and other dealerships. This dealership was by far the furthest distance but definitely the best experience of all. Rodney, the sales associate, was a consummate professional. We spoke by telephone before I visited and what he told me by phone was proven true when I arrived. He treated me well and was a gentleman from opening doors to making sure I made it home safely. Justin, the sales manager, was awesome too and made the deal happen. He didn’t play games. We talked business and that was that. I was very impressed and, if I buy another Nissan, I will buy it from this dealership. Class act!

    I hate going this place. All services are overcharged. Everytime I come I have wait an hour or two. Today I went in for regular oil change, carwash and vacuum that was supposed to take an hour. I had to wait for 2hrs and a half. They won't honor other Nissan coupons. Crazy, because they use to take coupons by Nissan. So what it's from another Nissan dealership but y'all are the same Nissan affiliation.

    I am so glad I no longer have to deal with Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. I definitely would not recommend buying, selling, or getting your vehicle serviced at this location. I purchased my Nissan Pathfinder from this location new in 2014. The vehicle came with free inspections for the life of the vehicle. We take care of our cars and maintain our vehicle recommended services. Each time it would take hours to complete the inspection. I would only take my vehicle here for inspections or if other Nissan dealerships did not have appointments that fit my schedule. I am a mom and an educator so my time is valuable. I hated going to the dealership for any type of service because of the long wait times. In March I took my vehicle in for a 100K service and a recall I was told that everything was fine. I did pay 304.00 for maintenance (air cabin filters, flushes etc), then I went back on June 8th or my annual inspection. A 30 minute service took over 2 hours with an appointment! My appointment was at 9:15, and by 12:00 I had to ask for my vehicle. Again I was told my car was in great condition. Recently I decided to sell my vehicle and had a firm offer on the table from another dealership. Nissan of Lake Norman asked me to come and they would beat that offer. The day before I had uploaded required information and photos on their site, but I had to call them to start the conversation on selling the vehicle. I brought the vehicle in only to be told it was giving a code, and received a lower offer. Then I was told that this was happening with a lot of 2014 Nissans. The assessment was questionable because two other dealerships had assessed my vehicle that day and did not mention this “code”. My biggest concern was why I just being given this information after receiving two recent services with a great report?!? I sold to the other dealership for my asking price and that dealership gave me a loaner vehicle to drive even though I am not purchasing a vehicle from them. Someone from Nissan of Lake Norman called me the following day inquiring about purchasing my vehicle. I recounted the aforementioned encounter and he responded with an apology, and stated, “I hope you get your (redacted car brand)”.     My husband and I started truck shopping a few months ago and spoke with Jason S at Modern Nissan. He was very helpful and when we let him know we weren't ready to buy, he respected that and did not pressure us at all, which we really appreciated. When we were ready, we contacted him and he got us a deal we were very happy with, all by phone/text. When we went into the dealership to finalize, we worked with Taryn for financing and she was also great. Both Jason and Taryn were prepared for our arrival and we were in and out very quickly, which was amazing. Cannot say enough about both Jason and Taryn and the overall experience we had with Modern Nissan of Lake Norman! We love our new Titan!

    Christian Marge was GREAT! He was very informative. He took his time and told me about everything my car could do. He constantly made sure I was comfortable. He didn't make me feel pressured to buy; and I appreciated that since this was my first major purchase. Not pushy at all! He allowed my mom to text him her concerns. At the end of the day I was extremely happy with my purchase, and happy I got him as a salesman. Even the finance department was not stressful. I 100 percent recommend this location.

    I have went to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman for service numerous times. All of my previous visits have been great, so I don't know what has changed recently, but I had several issues with my most recent visit. 1. When I went in, I told them my tire pressure light was on, and I wanted them to check that. The day after I picked up my car, the light was back on. When I called, the receptionist told me that the technicians "forgot" to reset the light. How does this happen when this was one of the main reasons I brought my car in? How can I be confident that all the service I paid for was actually completed? 2. When my service lead called me to discuss the recommended repairs, I was quoted ~$800. When I went to pick up my car, my total was over $1900. The problem is not the cost, but not stating the whole price. What if I didn't have the ability to pay? 3. Lastly, I have called several times to discuss my experience with the manager. I have not talked to him yet. Every time I call, he's "away from his desk." It has been a week since I took my car in. Do not take your car in for service to Lake Norman Nissan. They do not complete the work requested, misquote costs, and are not responsive.

    Good service staff that kept me informed about my vehicle. I had warranty work and brake flush done (cost was comparable to other garages). Nice waiting area where you can work. Very happy with this visit for my first Nissan and first truck.

    Long read, but WORTH IT when considering purchasing a vehicle here (especially sport or turbo engine cars) I traded in a 2016 Toyota RAV4 for a 2016 Subaru WRX Limited from this dealership. Now I will start by saying the people at this location are very nice - the car salesman Jacob worked with me and was a great help throughout the search & purchase process. HOWEVER.... I have had my vehicle less than 30 days and am already experiencing numerous issues with the car. My car is a turbocharged “sports car”, so it is much more in depth & requires more attention to detail than a standard “every day” car... Since my purchase, I have come across over 10+ issues that need immediate repairs or my engine WILL fail, and the vehicle should not have been sold with the condition that it is in. For starters, the vehicles TPMS light was on & I did question before purchase, & brought it back within 30 mins after driving off the lot due to concerns about TPMS & hill assist light, as well as a tire being low. I was informed everything was fine, but due to the Cobb tuning on the car that is why the lights were on. Come to find out a week later, there is a crack in the rim AND there are no TPMS sensors in any of the wheels. Brought this to the dealerships attention and was responded to with “sorry, not our problem”. Then, here we are 2 weeks later, & I’m now told “oh, we have the 4 stock rims here for that car”.... no you don’t, cause if you did, then why did you tell me there was NOTHING they could do 2 weeks ago? Next, I brought up concerns about the Cobb access port readings that the DAM & other values were logging much lower than what they should be, but could not pin point the exact cause until I brought it into a Subaru shop yesterday so we could lift the car & do a full inspection. Lone & behold, MULTIPLE problems. •Both front axel boots are torn •The crank case breather is literally missing a 5” section, it’s just GONE. Uh, hello huge air leak?! •The car is tuned to Cobb stage 2, which requires a down pipe, but the dealership removed the J pipe due to inspection reasons, but then they never adequately tuned the car •Seepage on both sides of the timing cover •Oil pan drain bolt is sweating + much more .... don’t think listing all of them will even do it’s justice on this post. Oh, & I was told the car is actually so unsafe & unreliable to be driving that it should only be driven IF NECESSARY... so I just bought a car I can’t even enjoy right now. Anyways... I have brought all of this to the attention of the dealership, have called the Manager multiple times as well as sent an email, & still have yet to get a response - he’s always “away from his desk” “out of the office until ___” or simply just does not return my messages. In my personal opinion, I would not buy a vehicle from this dealership again. I also would not buy a vehicle from this dealership who (very obviously) does not know anything about the engines, performance, or how to properly inspect these vehicles. All of the information I was provided was inaccurate information, especially regarding the TPMS & tune concerns. I am still in the works of getting all of this handled accordingly, however they have not been cooperative in any form - if you want my opinion they’re probably just wasting & delaying time so I go past the 30 days.... It’s very unfortunate I am having these issues and they are not handling their customers concerns appropriately after the sale is made, because I did thoroughly enjoy my experience up until all of this. I now will have to spend more money on legal action against this dealership just in order to (hopefully) get them to cooperate, or if not then to pursue even further actions since this vehicle is literally not even safe enough to drive. 2 stars for initial friendliness, 0 stars for any experience I have had since I drove off that lot.

    I came in to trade in my car and buy a new one. The salesman, Brian, exceeded my expectations greatly. My first impression was a very positive one. I walked in and instead of greeting me right at the door or walking fast toward me, he calmly welcomed me and asked what brought me in. I explained and within a few minutes, he already had a car in mind and pulled it up so I could test drive it. As I was driving the car, Brian wasn’t pushy or leaning toward the front seat like other salesmen I’ve dealt with in the past. He didn’t look at me as “bait” and definitely didn’t make me uncomfortable. When we got back, I already knew that was the car I wanted. Brian worked with Justin, the sales manager, to get me as close as possible to the monthly payment I had in mind. This is, in all honesty, the most laidback and comforting vehicle purchase I’ve made. Brian is a great asset to your company and he’s very personable, which you don’t find many salesmen like him these days. Thank you to Brian and Justin for helping me out to find a car I absolutely love within my budget!

    I received a referral from a good friend that bought two vehicles from Crystal at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. She contacted me that day and set up an appointment for me to stop in. When I arrived the salesman standing out front knew that I was there to see Crystal and the front desk receptionist greeted me by name. I was looking to purchase a 2019 Altima and knew what I wanted. Crystal did not try to upsell me in any way. It only took a couple of trips to the sales manager to get me the deal I was happy with. They treated me fairly on my trade in and offered the Nissan incentives available at the time. Everyone there was extremely helpful. All in all, I was in and out in just over three hours. I am confident anyone can have that same experience!

    You know when go to purchase a pre-owned car, how you hope for the right salesperson? When Crystal walked over, I knew this was the perfect match! Her demeanor and approach was my style.     This was the first new car purchase I have had in a very long time. My sales rep, George was friendly, helpful and went over all the new gadgets in the car that I have never had before. The entire staff made me feel welcome and made the process go smoothly. Although I figured I would purchase a car that day, I never felt pressured to buy that day, but I did drive away with a 2018 Rogue SV! I love it. The finance manager, Ken went over all the paperwork with me and answered all questions I had. I would highly recommend this dealership.

    Chris Byers was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had driven a Honda CR-V for the last 5+ years, and another Honda vehicle for many years prior to that, so I had a lot of questions in switching over to the Rogue. Chris was able to answer every single one of them, plus provide more information and detail. He was extremely polite and I felt comfortable with him throughout the whole process. I was even more impressed when he offered to leave the room as I was deciding on various money down/term options, allowing me a private chance to think things through. I also had a great experience in working with Taryn in the financial department - she was kind, knowledgeable and transparent each step of the way. Chris called me the very next day to see how I was liking my new car, and reminded me he is always just a phone call away for any questions that come up in the future. I can't say enough good things about Chris and my experience at Modern. I would recommend him to any family member, coworker, friend, etc.
