Excellent service from start to end. Mitten Loans is the best mortgage broker, period. Joe gives you the attention of a best friend, coaches you through your financial decisions, runs detailed best-case and worst-case scenarios with all possible details (taxes, HOA, etc.) for you to understand how much you’ll end up paying. Joe was super helpful, specially for me, that I come from Mexico, and the house purchase system is way different than in the United States, Joe made super clear that I understood every single aspect and terminology of the purchase. Joe also would run quickly through numbers of houses that we were visiting and that helped us to put offers that made sense in a faster way. He also supported us early in the morning or late at night, he always made sure to be available for us before we lost a good chance. My wife and I were in the process of the purchasing our first home. By the time we got in touch with Joe, we already had 2 lender available to us. We had a pretty interest rate closing costs from one of the 2 lenders. Joe was referred to us by a colleague of mine who had very good experience with Joe. Joe was last to join the competition of 3 lenders. When Joe came onboard, it was so obvious that we wanted Joe to be our representative lender. He was caring, responsive, and acted on our best interest. He basically made the overwhelming process more enjoyable and a learning opportunity. Joe did his magic to offer us the best deal of all 3 lenders- a better deal than the deal we received from one of the 2 lenders we have been working with for over a year. Joe impressed everyone that was involved in the lending process by beating all deadlines by at least one week early. He even showed up on the date of the closing (he had a pretty far drive from the closing locations) with some memorable gifts. I wish gave Joe 5.5 star if such rate existed because I believe the service he provided is not your typical 5-service - It was better. He was like a family member during the process.
