Shady company that takes advantage of people. You dont have an option if you use them most of the time. They take advantage of this. They make you call monthly for the covid forbearance. It is just an inconvenience they do to discourage people from getting the help they need from the government. Each call wastes 20 min of your life just to confirm something everyone is supposed to get automatically.

Terrible communication. Loan office made many mistakes with my payment plan. Customer service is a joke and should really be trained better on how to deliver information correctly. Do not recommend. If I had a choice on where my student loans were kept, I WOULD NOT choose this office.

I have made 2 phone calls to request a General Forbearance, which I have 36 months to use at my discretion and was told that it would be review and processed within 2 days but here it is 2 weeks later and I'm still showing delinquent. I have even asked for a supervisor and was told by the representative that supervisor's don't speak with borrowers as they weren't equipped to handle my issue. So now once again I must call these jokers back.

I would urge anyone in need of a loan to please use a different servicer. Management here is completely disorganized and borderline evil. Do not trust them.

Horrible company to work for management staff is very dishonest .. they allowed one of their senior employees to lie on me and they lied about the reason I was fired.. they didn't have a reason I honestly believe I was a victim of discrimination

There are many negative reviews of Mohela, but of all the lenders I have had over the past 20 years, Mohela has caused the fewest issues. I have found their customer service helpful and straightforward. I recommend researching any loan holder you use.

MOHELA is a HORRIBLE loan servicing agency. I would never recommend that anybody work with them, ever. They charged my account twice this month and overdrew my account. But I guess that's what you get when the U.S. government hires the lowest bidding contractor to manage your federal student loans. They are going to refund my money, but, it's going to take a week to get it back. How typical is that? They want your money immediately but when they owe you something, it takes upwards of a week to get it back to you. If you have any options other than Mohela, TAKE IT. Stay away from Mohela at all costs.

I.T. Department is joke, no documentation, BA who tell you requirements after you send to testing, Managers who code review and tell you about requirements as well when in code review. Management just ignores employees. The CEO sends 1 threatening email to all his employees a year about firing over having to hire new employees or not working mandatory overtime when they say. No one is happy at this place just look at what people say and if you do not believe it please get a job here. Reason they have a huge turn over rate.

They offers good solutions and billing, advisory services. every thing is in front of you. No hidden charges.

Good place to work. They do a lot for their employees and they pay better than most.
