First off, Jesse with Milend provided top notch service with my cash out refinance in early 2022. I appreciated that he initially wanted to look at my portfolio and goals to see if I would even benefit from a cash out refinance. I feel that most other companies wouldn't take the time to see if it makes sense, they would just chase after the fees they would collect. He was there to answer any and all questions that I had day and night. Even weekends. He is very knowledgeable on all of the mortgage processes and I had full confidence that this would run as smoothly as it did. We were able to complete the entire process and close within a month, which was incredible! I will definitely be contacting him for any and all future mortgage questions. If you are not using MiLEND, you made a mistake!

My experience with Milend was amazing! The process was really smooth thanks to Joseph Park- my loan officer. My job was giving such a hard time with my financial info, but Joseph didn’t give up and made my loan happened. He was always very accesible and explained things very thoroughly. The whole team I had the pleasure of working with was great! One of the best experiences I have had!

I actually stumbled upon Matthew Icard when I was trying to help our son refinance his home in Texas. Jason was divorced at the time and needed to refinance, to take is ex-wife off of the loan. His VA loan was through Wells Fargo. A gentleman there told our son Jason that he could refinance. So Jason filled out all the paperwork gave them all the information they needed. They went and appraised his house etc. Two months went by and the guy was still giving Jason the run around. My husband and I live in California so it's really difficult to help Jason. Shortly after that we took a trip to Texas. Jason gave the guy at Wells Fargo permission to talk to me regarding Jason trying to refinance. I had been in finance for 19 years so I could usually understand what people are talking about. Well I was on the phone for over an hour with this guy and I couldn't make any sense of what he was trying to explain. So finally I asked to speak to his supervisor, in less than 10 minutes I knew what the problem was. The VA would not allow you to refinance the loan unless the interest rate was lower than the VA rate. So now I figured I had my work cut out for me. Unfortunately Jason was continuing to get hassled by his ex-wife about getting her name off of the loan, and we were headed back to California. As soon as I got back to California, I searched the internet and called two financially institutions. The first one told me there wasn't anyway that Jason was going to be able to find anyone that would refinance lower than the VA loan rate. By the time I finished talking to the guy, I felt hopelessness for Jason, He really led me to believe nothing could be done. The next day I decided to call the second number. I spoke with Matthew Icard, he listened while I explained Jason's situation. Matthew answered all my questions then he told me that it could be done. I couldn't wait to tell Jason, being a disabled veteran who was shot in the bad of the head in Iraq it was very hard for Jason to understand certain things. Matthew got ahold of Jason and got all the information needed to start the process. Emails were exchanged, up to date phone calls, and in a month Jason's loan was refinanced and even his monthly payment was lower. Best of all his ex-wife was off the loan and off Jason's back. Matthew was on top of it every step of the way, he should be every Veteran's go to guy, he will definitely work for you.

Never had I been so mistreated by a company. They send you a live loan check and then you have 7 to 8 mortgage companies calling you because they share your information. I told them that I was looking to refinance in about a year but it matters not to this company. Integrity is not something that they understand. Doing what is right when no one is looking is not in their skill set.

Be very cafeful about this lender, i took out a small commerical loan and set up an account online to make my payments. i made my payment early and paid off the loan. After paying off the loan i received several calls asking me if i wanted another loan to which I replied no. Five months after paying off my loan i received a collections letter saying i owed them money. I logged into my online acct to verify (because i didnt delete it) and verified no money was owed. Becuase i plaid off early i couldn't track the amount properly so i paid them. Do not rely on the info on the online dashboard!

I was looking for refinance options and I was working with Paula. She advised will follow up and contact me multiple times and I never got follow ups even after sending over documents. She never went over different options with me and kept rescheduling. I felt like I needed to chase so decided to go with another company instead. It took the new company about an hour over the phone to give me best options & lock in a new rate. I don’t recommend milend due to this experience.
