    We switched to MidFirst from a bigger bank because we wanted a more personal experience and better customer service. This was a big mistake. I am now on hold, calling for the 5th time in 4 days to either resolve a problem or have something explained to me. Everyday they assure me I will be called back. Horrible experience.

    First class assistance and company without a doubt, I've had many choices and Midfirst is indeed very interesting. Thank You for the delightful years and continued prayers and encouragement and prayers and good treatment of everyone this time of year during your "HOLIDAYS " 🗣❤✌☝🌲⏲ Seasons change and so do overdraft protection fraud at this bank!     I have had good dealings with the bank Representatives at the Thunderbird branch in Scottsdale. This branch does have trouble keeping good employees at the desk, it seems that they pulled the better employees out and place them in other Banks! Everyone is having problems keeping employees satisfied and in place.

    There was a time when this was a good thing. There was a manager named Carlos and he was the last good thing about midfirst bank. Since he left the quality of the customer service has dropped exponentially and I have worked tirelessly for the last two weeks to move all of my accounts to different banks. I had nine accounts with them but they have become so rude and do not care about their customers any more.

    I have been a member for 5+ years with many accounts and when I originally joined the bankers were wonderful. Over the years, the older more experienced bankers left and the new crop are horrible. I opened a new 3rd checking account recently and because I am now working out of state, they had to mail me the check card. After 5 weeks and still no card, I emailed the banker, "Robert " and after 5 additional days of not receiving a response I finally called the bank and asked what the hold up was. Apparently Robert never sent it. In addition, I wanted to refinance my house to a shorter term and lower rate so I of course thought well maybe Midfirst would have competitive rates and make the whole process easier since I'm already a member. I called for the Loan officer in this location, "Jeremy". He wasn't available so I left a message. Two days later, still no return call from Jeremy. I called again and again left another message. Its now 7 additional days later and still no call back. Its just unacceptable and I will be moving all my accounts to a different bank very soon.

    After 40 years with Chase, i switched to Midfirst 4 years ago because everyone was so friendly. Today i stopped to make a deposit and felt like i was bothering the teller simply by being there. Time to shop banks again.

    Pulling all our money out of this bank. Extremely dissatisfied with their customer service. You can promise your first born to them and they will not ever give you your account number unless you physically walk into the branch. And it's not on your paper account statement.

    THE WORST BANK EVER! THEY WILL NOT EVEN GIVE YOU YOUR ACCOUNT # WHEN YOU VERIFY YOURSELF WITH SS#, DOB, ADDRESS, BLOOD! WE HAD TO FIGHT TO GET OUR LOAN PAYOFF TO CLOSE ESCROW. THEY NEVER HAVE A MANAGER AVAILABLE. THE WORST BANK!

    I've been a MidFirst customer for over 10 years. I still like banking with MidFirst, but the quality of customer service isn't what it used to be - especially at this branch. And on some administrative items, it's like they operate in the Dark Ages. The biggest peeve I have though, is the inability for a banker to ever return a call, even when they tell you in the branch "just call us."

    Thought I struck gold when I discovered Midfirst 3-4 years ago. Most of my experiences, especially early on, were positive. I run a non-profit sports club that has an annual budget of about $3,500 so I can't afford monthly fees or special features. I just needed a simple, effective account and they seemed to be a perfect fit. Liked them so much I opened a personal account for extra saving/spending. However, the past couple days they dropped a customer service bomb on me so bad that I walked in there last night and closed both accounts without reservation. The saddest part is that I was not beyond changing my mind, yet they hardly even flinched, did nothing to resolve anything, over the phone or in person, and didn't seem to care. After the fact, it appears Midfirst lied about surcharges on my account. It led to other issues, like declined cards and short funds when I needed to make a critical payment that held up products waiting to ship. There was zero communication from them on these matters until it became a nightmare, even though my wife had physically been in there to deposit funds earlier the same day. Turns out the surcharges were likely unnecessary and Midfirst simply seamed to just steal them from my club, but blamed VISA and the vendor. I ended up looking like a psycho to the vendor for getting upset that I couldn't make the payment. One person in particular (who is interestingly named in other complaints in these reviews) was particularly bad. I had other interactions with him in the past where I wondered what he was doing, but I shrugged it off. Now I know it wasn't just me. He ruined what I thought was a good thing.
