Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union Quince Orchard Rd, Gaithersburg

Lousy customer service. The mortgage department delayed my tax payment without a reason. No proper responses upon my follow ups. Very poor management. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone.

First of all, please know that my very negative review applies to MAFCU as a bank, not to Quince Orchard or any other particular branch. The people I've dealt with in person have always been friendly and helpful. But, when I asked this bank for a mortgage quote, they did not even bother to reply, and when I tried to use their Visa card overseas, they declined it. This is _not_ a full-service bank, whatever their advertising may say, and therefore I cannot recommend it.

I went to the gaithersburg branch and applied for auto loan, Loan officer told me we'll call you and let you by tomorrow. after 7 days, 3-4 times phone call and left 3 times phone messages, nobody called me. they don't care about customer. When you ask them to transfer your call to manager they transfer your phone call somewhere else. Looking weird to me. Last time i got pre-approval from another bank within 4 hours.

Good grief. This is the most inefficient company I have ever encountered. It’s like they are stuck in 1975. You have to go through three different departments to get anything done, and none of them can communicate with each other. One rep didn’t know Serbia was a country. Avoid this bank line the MAFCU

Never enough teller the wait is way too long. The staff/teller are very friendly and try there best. Avoid Fridays and Saturdays if you are in a hurry always only two teller on busy day and one of the two are working the window. Don't go if your intentions is to go in and right back out.....

I don't why so many people give less 5 stars for this bank. I absolutely LOVE this bank! They know me by name and also super friendly especially Ken and Gaby. There was time I had suspicious activity on my account before I wasn't even aware of it yet and they called me right away to verify it. When I told I didn't authorize it they were on it right away and got my money refunded right away. I have nothing bad say about this place! Keep up great work!

If incompetence had a physical form it would be this bank. rather than give you a laundry list of everything wrong with this bank let me just say that this is the only bank i have ever had. my parents signed me up and raised me taking me to this bank, now as an adult i get to deal with all the same BS they had to. I hope you go out of business.

They’re the worst, the two female tellers are unprofessional one Hispanic and the other a fair skinned Indian female. The male Indian manager is a asinine, unprofessional yutz... Don’t go by this bank unless you want to be mistreated as a customer.... They need to get rid of these idiotic people and hire real professionals, instead of two bit hired help. Really disgusting.... I could say more but then it turn into me saying things on a very volgure note 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 stay away if smart.

I had nothing less than a pleasurable experience at the Gaithersburg location with Rachel Ocheing. She was beyond helpful and for this reason I have maintained my rapport with this bank.
