Where to start. First off know that Mike cares more about you then he does about getting the deal. That is definitely the type of person we should all be doing business with even if you have to pay more for that relationship. However, Mike works with you to not only be competitive but to make sure you are taken care of on all fronts. The first time I used him he also had the best rate. Mike is straight forward, knows the business and will make sure your closing documents go smoothly. In fact, our Title company said they had never seen such well prepared paperwork. Mike, Rick, and their team were phenomenal. We had used them in the past and have even recommended them to friends and family. For our most recent purchase, we needed a quick preapproval letter to place an offer on a house and the realtor suggested an individual she works with because it would "be faster." Caught up in the moment and feeling the time crunch, we went with the suggestion. BIG MISTAKE. We were strung along and promised one interest rate and then told that they could only honor the rate on a portion of the loan because they did not know how to structure a jumbo loan. The majority of the loan would be at a percentage rate over double what they had originally offered even though rates were at an all time low. We worked with Mike and his team on both the initial purchase and refinance of our home and have been very satisfied with the relationship. We worked directly with the seller in the initial purchase and understandably had many questions since there was no realtor taking us through the steps. There were very minor bumps through the process, particularly in communications with other members of the team - one used quite a peremptory tone when following up. These are again easily traced to the fact that we were working without a realtor, and needed probably more guidance than those with one. After briefly re-aligning expectations, they were quick to focus back on the process and get it done. I will reiterate that Mike and his team were really very quick to respond to questions and concerns, and supportive throughout the process, even after everything was completed. Very professional, it is easy to see how well he values what he does.

My wife and I hired Mike to help us buy our first home. Being completely new to the home-buying process, we were really impressed with how patient and thorough he was.
