The staff here are wonderfully helpful & accommodating. My Fiance' & I had to pawn his Fender Mustang Guitar when we were were having some financial issues. Neither of us were happy about it & after going to 2 different pawn shops we started to get discouraged that we wouldn't be able to get all of the money that we needed. We decided to give it one last shot so we went to Metro Pawn; not only were the owner & staff knowledgeable about the guitar (the other 2 were not, one placed offered only $80 on a Fender Mustang less than a year old) but we were able to get the money we needed. Honesty that is enough to give them 5 stars but what came after this makes me wish I could give them 10 stars. We ended up having to wait until a week before we would have forfeited the guitar when our cat became very ill. We ended up spending over $500 on Emergency Vet bills and then 2 days later we realized that we now didn't have the money to save the guitar, payday was a week after the deadline. I called Metro Pawn and asked if there was anyway we could extend the deadline about 6 days & started to explain what happened, the guy that answered the phone was incredibly nice & said there was no problem. We are now able to get the guitar back & our fur baby is on the mend. If you are in a position where you are going to need to pawn something I would absolutely 100% recommend Metro Pawn.

There's a reason why the parking lot to this place is constantly devoid of anything. Im not even sure why its still around to be completely honest. They dont actually seem to do any pawn loans or buy anything. Alpha pawn on the other hand has given me better deals by far. Never less then 50% better offers in fact and 100% better customer service. Who knows, maybe someone will put a cool street side cafè here one day. Lord knows it would be better for the community.

David is the man! They carry very nice items, and if you don't see what you are looking for...JUST ASK! They have additional items that are not in the showcase. I bought an engagement ring there, and my wife gets compliments every single day, as well as Joslin's Jewelry swore up, and down I bought the ring from them, until I showed them where i bought it. They congratulated me on my choice, and that Dave knows his stuff when it comes to jewelry. Forever a life saver in my book. Location off State Ave has a lot more jewelry, but they will work with you. All you gotta do is ask.

Ask for a loan on a drone. They told me they will give me 100 cuz they found it online for 500 with all item that I have. I have check Craigslist before and none one have all the item like I do. He tell me also if don't matter if I fly it and dont mean everything work amd I was willing to fly it and show all it can do but thx anyway

Been dealing with this place for over 20 years great honest guys only pawn shop i deal with.

Place is not really a pawn shop. I took over 1000 dollars of tools to the place and was told the tools were to dusty. For real, the owner told me once a saw gets dust on it, I it's worthless. Would not even loan me 20 bucks. Complete waste of time going to this place .

If I knew they were closed on Saturday, I would have pawned somewhere else. Guess I'll wait till Monday, and then take my business somewhere more practical and accomodating.

More like a closet than a pawn shop. Very limited inventory. Ridiculous prices on banged up stuff. Don't know if they buy at fair prices but I highly doubt it. Being pawn brokers and all. Use Craigslist and save yourself the drive.

Of being open open for 25 years. This company has never had one minority. One African American. Work for there Shop. Even though 80% of there customers are Minorities. Think people should start looking into who they spend there money with and how they feel about there customers.

Can only speak about the one guy who was there that day.. l was trying to decide if l should buy a tool which wasn't cheep... out of the he blue he let me know he didn't care if l bought it or not. I guess the little people bothered him.
