The tellers are very nice. I do have a couple issues. So the bank does not have an ATM or ATM locations. They tell you when you open your account there are no fees. This is not true. If you use an ATM you do in fact have a fee, they will tell you that you will be reimbursed. Well, unless you keep track of this you will have fees. I had over $50 in fees! I had to repeatedly come in with an itemized list of transactions and the fees I incurred due to it. Then after a few days I would have the refunded amount. Also, if you don't work in Merrill good luck getting to the bank before they close. Their hours are not the same as other Banks. Then if you have larger direct deposits and multiples ( I am a broker) the deposits would be held for a 2-3 days before the funds were available. The last problem I had was issues with cashier's checks. This bank will not make the funds readily available. Even when your account has the funds to cover the "chance the cashier check bounced"(the excuse they frequently gave). They hold the check as long as they please. Then when you ask to speak to someone higher up - Mark in particular- will come out, raise his voice, and swear at you when you question why your money isn't available. Kevin said-"It's our money and we will give it to you when we want". I are also was told they did not have the funds available for the check anyway. If you are not from the area DO NOT open an account with them. I switched banks and have the same transactions and never have this issue! They are less then professional and do not care about you! Do not go here!!

The beat bank in Merrill with the best staff. Can't ask for anything better, great, friendly hometown service.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this financial institution. They are friendly and personable. I have been with them for 30 years and have no intention of leaving. I would recommend them to anyone.
