Worst experience ever!! I went through this location to get a loan to buy a house. My closing date was May 3. Rickey was my loan officer. He kept failing to get stuff done and even lied to me at one point saying it was the title company that pushed back my closing date and got caught in his lie because I went to confirm what was said with the title company and my realtor And they both said He was The one called them and and said he needed to push back the closing date. My closing date got pushed back 4 times because of Ricky and I didn’t get closed on the house until May 21stMy bad experience didn’t end there. When it came time to pay my first house payment no one could help me figure out how to pay it. I am so done with meritrust. Never again will I ever do business with this credit union again.

Borrower beware! I got a loan through Meritrust, and everything seemed fine at first. We specifically stated we did not want gap insurance ($432) for a loan that was paid off in 4 months, but instead it was slipped in and overlooked. By the time it was noticed, we were told it was too late and we would have to pay the extra amount. The loan officer blatantly included this service even after our specific instructions to exclude it. While you should always read the fine print, you HAVE to when somebody is going out of their way to make money at the expense of others.

Had a fantastic loan experience with Ricky. Give him a call. He works extra hard to make sure you have the best options. Explains things great, with zero pressure. I'll do home mortgage with Meritrust and Ricky again. Highly Recommend!

With me banking at Meritrust I can see when my SSI is pending before it is posted to my account, unlike other banks where you won't see it till the day it posted to your account. I will not go to any other banks at all, the employees there at Meritrust knows me by name and it's nice that they say hi to you when you walk in, other banks that i've been to hardly even said hi.

They do banking just fine. But as a small business owner they have NEVER helped. No loan assistance. I applied for the EIDL and PPP. I followed up. A week passed and once the funds were depleted they told me that it was gone. I was too late. Me?!

low fees, decent rates, great mobile app. Great place for auto loans also.

Very disappointed. We did a car loan through them. Not only did they NOT close our account when it was paid off, charged us for continuing to have the account open while there was nothing due, they never sent the documentation for lien release to the proper authorities, even after our requests that they do so. Still getting the runaround so we can get the title to a car that has been paid off for over 3 years.

I have never disliked a bank before but we have run into so many ridiculous things with this bank that I have never with any other bank. I got my car loan through them but have another bank for my checking and savings. I start going through the process of setting up automatic payments for my car loan only yo find out you can only set up automatic payments if you bank through them. No I'm not going to switch banks just so I can set up payments. Ridiculous. Now I have to make payments through the app manually every month. Come to find out f I try to make a phone payment or an online payment I get charged $4 every time. Lastly I get an email sent to me saying they are going to add $255 to my loan for car insurance between the months of July through October. I got the letter at the end of Septmeber and now is when they tell me they are adding this charge to my loan. Plus this was the first I had ever heard from them about it. There was no "Hey there was a mistake and we didn't get the right info about your insurance. Can you provide proof?". It was just " Hey we charged you this and if you want it taken off send us proof of insurance." As soon as I can switch to another bank I will and will never use them again. I have never run into any of this with any other bank in town.

One of the worst banks I have ever had. The local office refuses to help so you only talk to the call center. Took four people to answer one simple question. Anytime u have to speak to them , prepare to be irritated. The people in the local office are lazy and uneducated. System keeps messing up and they will blame you. A worker there told me they don't feel the need to tell customers when their system doesn't work.

They'll harass you and contact your family members concerning your business, even if your due date hasn't arrived yet. Hard pass; my wife has been through enough with these sharks before she refinanced.
