Landmark National Bank Poyntz Ave, Manhattan

I've been a Landmark mortgage customer for 8 years. Landmark recently changed their platform for statements. My first statement showed 2 late fees. I went into a branch to inquire and one of the dates was from more than 2 years ago and the second they pointed to showed I had made the payment on time. No offer was made to credit that late fee. As well, no accountability was taken for the 2 years. They just said a notice would've been mailed out. For anybody in the area looking for a mortgage, I would encourage you to look at other options that have better technology, processes, and service.

Big shoutout to Samantha Waggonner, Vice President of Mortgage Lending at the Landmark Office in Manhattan! She was super helpful, professional and courteous during the whole process in buying our home. I can certainly state if you are looking at buying a house, contact her and she will make sure things go smoothly. I highly recommend!

Stay away from this bank. The manager of the Iola KS branch called me a thief. Not professional at all and then cut off my overdraft protection also even though I always paid it up. Now that my account is even worse cause of all this I owe 3 times as much. They have every branch call and nag for the money almost everyday. Be wise just to try another bank. Update I have contacted the Manhattan branch about the issue with the two accounts on my credit. No help at all just excuses. Even from the branch manager that didn't want to help just wanted the money that runs the iola branch now. I will be filing suit against them to get this fixed and items removed. Also Dodge City and Manhattan show on my credit when should be iola. They are trying to blame the credit bureau when they are the ones who reported it. Just unprofessional. Would suggest just sueing these people to get the point across unless you like to argue.

Never had to do much at this bank besides deposit money but the ladies are always very nice and typically know my name when I pull in. Very nice people.

I am a first-time home buyer and had some special circumstances. The staff has just been wonderful and never missed an opportunity to educate me and help me through the process of buying my first home. I would recommend them to anyone. This is a group of people dedicated to customer service and helping and celebrating a milestone.

Sam Waggoner is by far the best! Thank you for helping me get the loan and helping to buy our dream home. You went out of your way to make me comfortable and ease my fears with the buying process. I reccomend when looking for loans, look for Sam Waggoner, she is kind and very supportive and understanding. She made sure all my anxieties were put to rest with the best loan option for us. I had an account with Landmark. I closed it after Colby, the manager was rude to me. After constantly charging me overdraft fees instead of allowing my account to be overdraft until I put the money in it, he charged me fees equal to the amount of the bill that I needed to pay! Outrageous. When I spoke with him about it, he was passively aggressively rude. I closed my account after paying said fees and I would recommend that no one bank with them and their self serving business practices.
