Very unprofessional. The CEO, Lori, told me I was not welcome back on the premises due to a disagreement in which I asked her not to raise her voice but she continued to do so. The lady is crazy. I was not allowed back on premises because I was resigning, and I asked to close my bank account that I was unwillingly forced to open with Members Choice. She told me I could not access my full funds without paying a $25 account closing fee (for an account I did not even ask for!). I was banned from the premises and then 20 minutes later I received a call that actually, since I was a former employee, the account should have been closed for free. Though I was banned for being correct, all of my money was still in my account, so of course I came back one last time to close my account. Lori is an awful CEO and does not know the policies at all.She does not deal well with disagreement and is highly unprofessional. Choose a different bank!!!!!!!! Read the reviews, this is not a rare case!

I went in today to apply for a car loan. Taylor (loan officer) started off by asking me if I resided, worked, and worshipped in Bloomington. I answered the first 2 questions then made sure I heard her right on the last question and proceeded with, “did you say worship?” She said, “yes, it can help improve your chances of getting approved if you regularly attend a church in the community” I was shocked but followed with, “well, I have been to a couple different churches 2-3 times but do not attend church regularly” I finished the application and she then stated she had another guy who just called in to submit his application but she would get to mine when she could. A very weird interaction and unprofessional banking process altogether. I left the bank and began thinking “why would they need to know if I worship or go to church? And what does that have anything to do with getting a loan?” I then reverted my thoughts to “is this discrimination?” I began looking up what banks/loan officers are allowed to ask you and in NO WAY are banks suppose to ask you anything about your religion or if you go to worship. ECOA, civil rights, federal laws protect all U.S. against this type of discrimination. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it but wanted to speak with the bank manager. She of course wasn’t in but called me a few hours later and was not only not apologetic for the way information/questions was relayed to me but said that her bank is allowed to ask about community involvement/worship because there is certain “criteria” their members must meet. And was beyond rude and hasty in her speech. I am BLOWN AWAY by the unprofessional and sheer ignorance of the loan officer and the bank MANAGER. Like how can you be that ignorant? I hope conversations are recorded because what she said was incriminating even further for her branch. She must really not know or understand federal laws and civil rights. I am filing a complaint with ECOA, and hopefully these people will be fined or better yet...put out of business!!! Horrible establishment!! And Lori is a HORRIBLE manager. ^like the guy above said, they do not know how to treat human beings..you know, unless you’re a regular church attendee. 🙄

The staff isn't friendly nor knowledgeable. There's a reason for their lack of growth into the local community. The services they offer are next to zero. They make you feel as if they are doing you a favor by banking with them.

I have had multiple loans with Members Choice FCU, the people were very helpful and had no real issues.

Fantastic credit union, the tellers are awesome. Go to Kamren if she's there.

The worst place I have ever been to and worked at. They have no idea how to treat a human being and they have no idea how to run a credit union. Lori is the biggest hypocrite I have ever met in my entire life. Also he ego and big head are the things she keeps tripping over, causing the place to fail, just like she has in life. Its good to know these things because no one wants a place to steal their money or to treat a human being awful. The only good thing about their entire operation is the fact the tellers can be nice from time to time.. Do not bank here now or ever, you will regret it badly.

This FCU is maybe one of the worst out there. Very unprofessional, not to mention disorganized. Their website is just about impossible to navigate. They can't do almost anything electronically or over the phone, so hopefully you live next door to their office. This place is like an SNL parody of a credit union.

Very helpful staff, they always explain carefully about any issues/rules; they also keep pretty convenient hours, and they are a LOCAL Credit Union!!

I went there to try to talk to someone about open checking account and I bet I waited over an hour or more so I left they wasn't busy the employees was sitting there talking there mouths off and not doing there job I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

Extremely unprofessional and inefficient. Highly advise seeking elsewhere to do your financial business.
