Members 1st Credit Union E Gannon Dr, Festus

Excellent credit union! Convenient location. Always friendly and knowledge staff. Great loan rates and valuable promotions. Easy loan application an approval process too! I'm happy to have my saving and loans through the Festus branch of Member 1st Credit Union. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Switched here because of one helpful employee who always takes care of my shared branch transactions. The other employee is a total joke, won't make eye contact, walks away when I come in, doesn't smile or greet me, inconsistently follows rules. She opened my husband's account. He wouldn't even switch his direct deposit to here because of how rude this employee was. I will be closing my account and not using them as a shared branch anymore. I can't risk really needing help, and the one kind employee is not in the office. This was a mistake and a waste of $5.00. Looks like other people have had the same experience. This lady doesn't deserve to work with the public.

After years of working with this credit union they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone when I had an actual problem that needed attention. I went to the festus location two days in a row, making sure to go when they weren't busy, and they couldn't make one phone call to help resolve the issue at hand. Thank goodness we realized the lack of service, empathy, and compassion before transferring the rest of our accounts to them as we originally intended.

I've been a member since 1997 when it was called Southpointe Credit Union. Stayed with them for all these years until now. The Mattis location is great, it's the incompetent workers in Festus that have made me switch to Commerce and First Community... My card was declined bc I'm traveling out of state. I notified Members 1st and they said all is fine. Declined again. Card was on lock down and had to call fraud number to unlock card. Fraud guy said there's no guarantee it won't decline again. These people are a joke!!! Save yourself time and the frustration if you want access to your funds while traveling out of state. When I get back, my accounts will be closed.

I just opened several accounts here. The staff has been easy to talk to and helpful. I also really like the app it is easy to use.

We have checking and savings as well as have done 2 car loans. Always the best rate on loans. Treat you like a neighbor not a number.

Honestly I have never had an issue when make a deposit/withdrawing from my savings account with this Credit Union. Everyone is really helpful, and they always help with any questions I have. Very nice people!

I am not sure if everyone there hates their job or just gave up trying. No employees smiled, greeted us or even offered to help. When we spoke to one of them, she put her head down and walked around to another employee. Apparently a simple deposit required 3 tellers huddled together, ignoring me when asking what the issue was and finally, grudgingly talking the deposit. I have never had such terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and bank someplace else. I am from now on.

I was not near my credit union branch but needed to make a deposit before end of day business. The staff here were outstanding and never made me feel like a second class customer because I was coming from a different Credit Union. Thank you!

Cassie is so knowledgeable about possums. All the girls are a big help as well. Also, Nichole is my favorite.
