MemberFocus Community Credit Union Chase Rd, Dearborn

I had a beautiful experience at this financial institution. I decided to try them out after my spouse financed an auto loan through them. I was initially skeptical, apparently due to their "size", but they proved me wrong with their effectiveness. Comparatively, they had one of the best loan rates for me and my financial service representative (Janet) was totally transparent and unbiased, as she thoroughly guided me through the entire process without me having to break a sweat! I would say without any fear or favor that Janet was experienced, professional, very detailed and clearly understood her job. With the likes of her in that institution, whilst also maintaining their focus and customer-oriented values, then the sky would just be the beginning of greater successes for them. I am thus giving them a 5 star in all and my high recommendation(s).

Over 4 days for an auto loan approval on 11k? Their auto loan process is not client friendly. A-tier credit and need to provide 2 months of pay stubs, verbal employment verification, and many other loops to go through. 4 days later..... and still no approval. Decided to finance though the dealership with another local credit union. approved within minutes with no hassle. Felt like we were begging for the loan here where you can go elsewhere and get very similar rate with no trouble and a reasonable time frame. It would be understandable if It was sub prime or something like a mortgage. But I didn’t even provide this amount of info to my mortgage company.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BANK TO DO BUSINESS WITH.ESPECIALLY ON CAR LOANS. STAY CLEAR AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE

They are incompetent, unresponsive, and consistently rude. The car dealership I bought from chose this bank for my auto loan and MFCC failed to process it so a month later I had to go through the whole process again while driving around with temporary paperwork and without title all that time--that really set the tone for what was to come with this bank. Often rude on the phone when I call to pay my bill and last time I called was the last straw dealing with them. Ended up just refinancing with another bank. Also, I requested a 10-day payoff letter for my refinance and Tammy sends me the wrong document (maybe on purpose I don't know) but when I called to remedy the issue they refused to help. I e-mailed her, called a few times and they just sent me to her voicemail--never got a response of any kind. I ended up having to drive all the way out to Dearborn to get the letter, which took only a few minutes to print. Don't deal with this bank, you'll have nothing but problems.

Much better than a bank. This Credit Union has provided great service to our family. My car loans have been quick and easy, too.

Terrible Credit Union! Do not put your money into this bank if you plan on spending it. This is a short review of the one on Telegraph near Ford Rd. in Dearborn, MI. They are slow to answer the phone per approval of you using your own money/debit card for purchase(S). They have a set limit to how much of your money you can spend per day and you have to "ask" them to raise your limit by phone. Then if they DO answer, they seem rude or upset. Almost as if you are bothering them. Not professional at all! They make you feel guilty for using your own money. By this i mean, I contacted them to raise my limit after making purchases and the lady had the nerve to tell me "you made a llllot of purchases". That comment made me feel real uncomfortable. Who the F cares lady, it's my money! In short, terrible customer service. Lack of clean-looking patron area of the office. Way too small area for customers to wait. Poor customer service with unhappy attitude workers. In need of workers whom are happy to work and courteous! Parking lot is in need of repairs. Parking lot is too small. Just an overall bad experience with this place. Stay away and keep your money elsewhere otherwise you'll have problems spending it with this place!
