This experience was unbelievably so easy. This was the first time trying a purchase/refinance out of state and basically entirely online. Matthew and Carly were amazing with my refinance! They not only helped me get a good rate, but they also gave prompt responses to my thousands of questions. I'm serious about prompt -- the longest I've ever had to wait on a response from them is a couple of hours. When I didn't bother to check my junk mail for a response, Matthew took time out of his day to personally call me and make sure my question was answered. This was my 3rd opportunity to work with McGlone Mortgage Group, but my first time working with Joe Campanella located in Albany, NY. My two sons discovered McGlone before me, between them at least four additional experiences. Everything one would want from a mortgage lender is there, and better than I've ever experienced going back to our first home in 1975: 1) McGlone is personal; 2) Interest Rates and expenses are as low as I've ever heard (no gimmicks); 3) Paperwork is efficient, streamlined, and easy; 4) McGlone is very flexible as to all aspects of the transaction; 5) Whether working with the gentleman in Wisconsin, or Mr. Campanella in the Northeast, every issue is worked out with the gentleman in charge, on the telephone or email as appropriate, with same-day response; 6) The closing was in our home at our convenience. This most recent opportunity involved our 2nd home, in the far northeastern part of Vermont, with significant cash out in the transaction. Interest rates were climbing throughout the period of processing, but not mine. Closing was delayed due to the difficulties getting an appraisal in Vermont and particularly in the far north. On a clear day we can see Jay Peak as easily as we can see Mt.Mansfield. The appraisal delay went beyond our 60-day lock. What did Mr. Campanella and McGlone say? They said, "It wasn't the customers fault, we'll honor the interest rate." Try that with any lender you've ever considered! No angst. I was worried about comparables in terms of the appraisal and the amount loaned. Somehow, the appraiser put together a good package with which I have zero complaints. Even when I was panicking a little with interests rates, appraisals, etc., Mr. Campanella always sounded calm and reassuring, and he was right every time. I tried to send him a small fifteen appreciation, but he refused it (rules and regulations); but McGlone always sends a very nice gift afterwards in appreciation. McGlone is about the customer -- bottom line -- they are about the customer -- period!! In the end, the personal touch, the integrity, and the fantastic product every time, are unbeatable approaches to good business. I will never go elsewhere. In fact, I look forward to finding a reason to work with them again. Who ever heard of that about getting a mortgage? Brenda is an awesome lender. I worked with her on a refinance and a home purchase. I'm under contract with her on a 3rd purchase. Brenda's rates have always been competitive. I shopped around fairly aggressively for the refinance and got a good deal with Brenda. My monthly mortgage rent decreased by $300 and I have more to invest. I also got a nice treat in the mail, nice touch). Additionally, I referred my best friend's little sister to her to help her buy her first property - which was great. My best friend's little sister worked with two lenders and ultimately picked Brenda because of the attention to detail. I recently closed on another house with Brenda that I purchased and the home builder wasn't great. They were fairly dismissive, passive aggressive, and unprofessional. They threatened to terminate the contract if we didn't meet stringent and unrealistic deadlines. Brenda was able to meet their expectations and we got the clear to close. No one believed she worked this quickly and I walked away with equity. I don't think I would've been able to do it without Brenda by my side. Here are a few things that stick out with Brenda; 1. Speed of communication - usually gets back to me within 1 - 30 minutes. Not sure how. 2. Advocate for the buyer 3. Realistic fees 4. Great communication I'd use Brenda again in a heartbeat. Don't walk. RUN to Brenda. Note - I'm a consultant by trade and have a fairly high bar and Brenda exceeds it.

There’s a simple answer to that when it comes to Brian and McGlone Mortgage. ABSOLUTELY YES! I highly recommend Brian from McGlone, easy to work with with no BS.. Matt and his staff were the most professional, timely and also pleasant mortgage company I ever worked with. There were no hidden fees, everything was spelled out for us upfront and they were there for us every step of the process. Communication with Matt was so easy via text or phone at any time, including weekends. My experience re-financing my existing home and financing a 2nd home through McGlone and specifically Melody Loftus was the best experience I've ever had with real estate financing (these are my 5th and 6th properties). Melody is extremely supportive, detail-oriented and goes way beyond what a loan officer typically does for a client. She spent a lot of time with me running through financing scenarios, explained terms I have forgotten about and even shared some lessons learned from owning a 2nd home. She was so helpful with my refi that when I decided to buy another property I knew I would be in good hands with her again. McGlone financing terms also quite competitive.
