My family and I just refinanced our home mortgage. Several friends had referred me to McDonnell & Assoc. due to their positive experiences with their recent closing process. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, as it related both to the closing as well as the measures they have been into place for protection during the pandemic. It was very quick and painless....which is what you want when you're having to go through the process of a closing. Thanks McDonnell for your help!!

Closing was great. Thank you Catherine. The disbursement was a nightmare. I would air on the side of caution if you're looking for efficiency and expertise post closing.

I only wish I could leave zero stars for the abysmal service we received from this law firm. They were not slow in responses to us, because there was very often in fact NO response to us. They do not answer the phone. They do not return messages or e-mails. I had to go to the office at one point to find out what was going on with our file because it had taken so long to get the title work done for our lender. I would NEVER recommend this business. The one redeeming employee they have is Stephanie Argoe. She is incredibly helpful, professional and courteous. Our experience was totally awful, except for our interaction with her. Save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere.

My husband and I purchased a home using Boomerang Title, by way of McDonnell and Associates PA. Shortly after moving in we received a check, federally expressed from the title company. On or about May 3 we deposited the check into my account. It was cashed by May 5. On May 9th. I checked my account and it was overdrawn. When I contacted the office, Amanda, matter of factly says, we thought we owed you but when we got the "final" paperwork we saw that we do not, so we stopped payment on the check. Without contacting my husband and I. I asked why would you federally express a check to us without having the closing paperwork (that seems necessary to me.) She had no response and no apology. The office(Amanda) says an email was sent, that we never received (we both checked). This was inappropriate from any business. If you are going to stop payment on a check that was already cashed, I think that warrants enough consideration and courtesy for your customers to make a phone call or at least send notice by mail. My husband and I purchased a $400,000 house and was not respected enough to make a phone call. As a result all items that was paid from the transaction accrued charges. I would not expect this from a 1-star company let alone a 5-star. I tried calling, no one picks up and email, no response. Beware of this company, also you have the wrong number listed on your Boomerang web page. Our lives matter too! (Less)

I honestly don't have the words to express how thankful I am that Marsh Banks from McDonnell & Associates Law Firm handled my home refinance. Long story short after I received the funds from my cash out the lender called and directed me to return the funds, fill out some new paperwork and they would re-wire the funds to my bank account. I called Marsha and she jumped into action. After calming me down she spent the majority of her day dealing with my lender. She contacted me later that evening (after working hours) to inform me that everything was taken care of and that no further action was require of me. Throughout the entire closing she thoroughly explained every form and ensured that I understood what I was signing. If you're looking for a lawyer to handle any type of property transactions give her firm a call I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.

I heard about this firm from a friend. They seem to be very unprofessional, and never had any documents ready which was always frustrating. They always seemed disorganized. Tried to stay patient with them, but it just turned out to be a disaster. Would not recommend. Save time and money, and try someone else. There is no possible way this company has a high rating. They have to be writing their own reviews. Even looking at the rating history, it is just so inconsistent. Wish I knew ahead of time. Don't be surprised if they hang up on you when you call...Highly unprofessional.

I close a LOT of homes and per the contract with LGI Homes if we use this terrible firm we would not be charged an attorney fee. Well they are less than an hour to closing and we have YET to receive a correct settlement statement, cash to close amount or wiring instructions. They will not return a call and have had our file for closing for well over 4 months. I let them know after the first properties I closed with them they needed to step it up as their service is unacceptable. Now with the 3rd and 4th closings today they are still as incompetent as ever. STAY AWAY! Get your own closing attorney or you will regret it! Review should be 0 STARS

In every way, these folks are quick to respond, ready to help, and the example of professionalism. They made everything easy to understand and were kind and personable. I will recommend them to anyone asking for closing attorney needs.
