Mattamy Homes - Saddlewood Serpens Ln, Lake Worth

My Mattamy townhome is 11 months old and under the builder warranty but they are refusing to correct a structural defect. The faucets in the master bath is positioned too far from the sink such that water runs onto the counter when the stream is low. After six days of researching the issue, Mattamy Homes does not deny the defect but are denying assistance. They told me to file an insurance claim which will increase my rates but leave me vulnerable to another event. There are other high risk imperfections that I corrected myself but this one was egregious.

My sales experience at Saddlewood has only been pleasant thanks to JoAnn. She has been a pleasure to work with, very patient, professional, always available, and willing to answer all questions. I’m looking forward to being a future resident at Saddlewood!

Loved our sales person, she made the whole experience pleasant and kept us updated from start to finish. The quality of the home, however, left much to be desired. Tiles and cabinets used were of the cheapest quality, and what builder doesn’t provide basic light fixtures?! Uncovered light bulbs everywhere. Guess we’re used to a higher quality of finish and unfortunately we’ve been spending additional money to get fixtures up to par. Community also has an exclusive contract with an internet and cable service provider which forces residents to use this company. Problem is the service is horrible as there have been community wide blackouts! The cost of internet and cable is also very expensive in comparison to other providers but we have no choice. Was told it’s a 10 year contract, which is absolutely ridiculous which leaves homeowners stuck! Things to consider before choosing communities. The landscapers have not been keeping up the maintenance of the grounds enough. The security gate after 4months still isn’t functional. And without any additional services being provided, the HOA was raised without explanation! Research before considering!

We bought a house on this Comunity and we had a great experience, beginning with the excellent service of JohAn Naddell, and the general contractor Ronald, they finish the house on time with a great finishing, all the details makes this home really amazing. It was a pleasure making business with this team.

Our new Mattamy home is beautiful! our Mattamy sales agent , Chris made our buying process easy and hassle free. She was extremely kind, professional and not pushy. We are originally from out of state, so our first time visiting the Saddlewood community Chris picked us up at our hotel took us to Saddlewood and back, she is the best. The warranty service has been excellent, not many items needed to be addressed, but the few were handled to our complete satisfaction. Mattamy Homes build really nice houses, great quality as we expected and their customer service is next level. The overall experience is great we highly recommend them.

The process of buying a new home in Saddlewood was incredible. Joann in the on-site office helped us find the perfect floor plan. She was very knowledgeable and professional. We are thrilled to be new residents here!
