Matt Schwartz and his team were amazing. I was working with another group that just did not get things moving. I called Matt and everything changed. He and his team were always available to answer any questions we had. They always provided us with updates and never left us in the dark during the entire process. Matt will absolutely waste no time in speaking to you like you are beneath him, and doesn't seem to care when he is told he is offending you. I'm not going to elaborate, becaus I'm certain that regardless of whatever I say here he is going to reply with snark and a condescending attitude. Just be very careful when considering this lender. He will treat you awfully if you don't just go along with what he wants. Edit after closing: when dealing with Matt he told me that the closing amounts that a competing lender was offering me were impossible and that "the numbers won't look anything like they do now when all is said and done." He assure me that his rates were the best available. He was very wrong. I saved myself over $7k at closing and the final numbers were actually better than expected when we came to closing. Please, do not trust this man. You will overpay. Shop around for your mortgage.

Matt Schwartz and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with from the moment I gave my earnest money on my new home to closing. He and his team would reach out to me often to give me updates as well as getting me to stay current on my information while my builder had some issues finishing up our home. We were ready to close financially 2 weeks ahead of schedule and even when we didnt close because of the builder not because of Southlake, Matt personally took the time to call me to make sure we were ok to close and were not pushy at all. I definitely recommend them for your home buying needs.

Best home buying experience I’ve ever had with zero hidden fees and zero surprises. I have always purchased my properties through the big banks mortgage programs as I’d heard going with brokers wasn’t the way to go. I now see why my bank has always said that as they know they can’t touch the level of service or personalization people Ike Matt offer. We relocated to Texas and still had a house in another state and I filled out an online inquiry to purchase another property knowing I’d be inundated with people but wanted to explore options as rate shopping seemed smart. I have gone through the home buying process 6 times since buying my first home over 20 years ago. This was by far the smoothest process that we have ever experienced, spite not being in an ideal situation to buy a home this time around.
