My wife and I recently partnered with Matt to sell our home and purchase a new one. All in all, he was absolutely incredible to work with and I would (and will) recommend him to anyone I know! Based on the first conversation we had, we knew we wanted to work with him. His low-pressure approach was immediately disarming and we never felt like “just another client” when speaking with him. Selling our home was flawless – he first listened to what our goals were, then offered his opinion in a collaborative way. He quickly brought his media team out and put together beautiful marketing materials (photos and videos). The production value was terrific and most certainly showcased our home in the best way possible way. We quickly sold! In this market, it didn’t take long to realize that buying a house can be intimidating and for this reason we were grateful to have Matt in our corner. He has a strong foundational knowledge of houses and knows exactly what to look for – but most importantly – what to avoid. This keen eye was a tremendous asset and made us feel comfortable while navigating through potential homes. Matt took a detailed and educational approach while writing offers to ensure nothing was missed, allowing us to put together the most competitive offers we could. It didn’t take long and we eventually closed on our next home!

Matt is an experienced and knowledgeable agent, and I am beyond thrilled that he was at our side during our home shopping journey! As a first-time homebuyer, I had a million questions about the homes we looked at and the general process after our offer was accepted, and Matt always promptly replied with clear answers. Buying a house is a big decision that can be daunting at times, but having Matt as our agent made a world of difference. We ended up buying a beautiful home in excellent condition that appraised well over asking price!

We had a fantastic experience with Matt. We were first-time homebuyers searching for a multi-family home, and Matt was extremely helpful in not only showing us properties, but teaching us about real estate investing and land-lording. He was always willing to take time on weekends/evenings to show properties or take our calls when we had questions about the process. We first began looking at properties with Matt in February, and continued to look through the end of April when we finally got an offer accepted. All throughout that process, we always felt like a priority to Matt. When we got the offer accepted, Matt continued to educate us on the closing process and provided several resources for us for additional questions we had. Lastly, the property we ended up getting appraised $9k over our purchase price, so we were extremely excited about that! The whole process from our first search, to visiting potential properties, to the closing process was fantastic, and I could not recommend Matt enough!

We cannot say enough good about our experience with Matt. We planned a move from out of state, readied our home, put it on the market then were offered an opportunity to stay in Montana. Matt answered every question promptly, gave us a good perspective on neighborhoods because he has that local knowledge, was funny, honest and even reviewed our local listing when our house went on market. He didn't have a sure thing to gain but helped us with a genuine heart. Our experience with Minnesota folks was nothing short of amazing. We found Matt to be more helpful than our local realtors. 10/10. I would leave 6 stars if I could. Matt is everything you want in a realtor- friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I often had to remind myself when I was communicating with Matt during the home searching process that he was our realtor that we had just met, not a friend we had known for 6 years. Although now, we are happy to call him our friend. He helped us find a great home and eased any and all worries that I (or my dad) had. If you are looking for an amazing realtor, congratulations- you found one.

Matt helped our family buy our first home in Minneapolis. The entire experience working with Matt- from the initial meeting, looking at houses, putting in offers, and finalizing the sale- was extremely positive. Matt is open and honest, which was super helpful as he was explaining how the home buying process works and the realities of the market. He was always available for phone calls and emails. His schedule allowed him to show us multiple listings in a day and he helped us easily coordinate them. We put in 2 offers, both of which resulted in Matt working quickly and talking us through the process. It felt so easy that I kept wondering why everyone says home buying is stressful! Matt’s sense of humor, kindness, and professionalism also made our home buying experience a great one. I knew we could count on him for his knowledge of the market and he was honest about our options. After we closed on our house, we legitimately felt a little sad about not seeing and working with Matt! For all of these reasons, I would highly, highly recommend Matt Bartholomew as a realtor.

Matt was amazing! We were new to homebuying so we weren't sure what to expect. Working with Matt made that experience great. On top of being just an overall friendly and amazing guy, he took the time to ensure we understood what we were doing and the paperwork we were submitting. He was prompt at submitting our offer to the seller and helped push for quick answers. He did such a great job that we were able to close on our first offer! After receiving our appraisal, he went beyond expectations as he was able to negotiate our final closing price down to that appraisal price. Just overall made the whole experience so easy and stress free. If anyone is in the process of buying or selling a house, there is no better option that Matt.

Matt has been a huge help during our home searching process. Matt’s interpersonal skills and knowledge of red flags to look for greatly reduced our anxiety throughout. We had a great experience with Matt buying our first home. Matt was extremely knowledgeable about all steps of the process and worked around our varying schedules. He helped line us up with a first time home buyers grant. He negotiated a great deal for us and our house ultimately ended up appraising for 7k more than we paid. I thought he did a great job throughout the entire process and was very quick to respond to any questions. If we sell our house and plan to buy another house, we will hire Matt!

Matt was amazing working with. He was incredibly knowledgeable, went out of his way to negotiate with the seller, was insanely patient with us, and also didn’t make us feel like idiots buying our first home. There was even a point where we felt fatigued in our search and we were about to settle and Matt said honestly to us “you guys deserve a better house.” We moved into a better house and couldn’t be happier. Matt helped us find a solid home all while keeping my anxiety low, and walking us through the home buying process. He drove to meet us is several different towns, and set up a good amount of showings. He was definitely a great fit for us, and took our wants and needs in a home in consideration. Without Matt, who knows where we would have ended up. Super great guy that works hard, and clearly loves what he does.

We just bought our first house with Matt as our realtor and he made the process seem like a breeze! He was extremely knowledge, not only about the real estate market but also about potential red flags such as old utility systems and home conditions (roof showing age etc) that as first time home buyers we would have not picked up on. Matt was prompt in communication and was always available to answer any questions we had. We started looking on April 1st, 2022 and closed on our new home on May 6th. With Matt's assistance we were able to get our dream home for 15k under asking price with inspection and appraisal contingencies (which we thought would be impossible in the current market!).
